Hello, my dear readers and those who happened to stumble upon my blog by chance! It feels like just recently I published a post about the end of 2024, but now it’s time to say goodbye to 2025. And here I am again with my New Year’s message to all of you. Though, to be honest, the older I get, the less I feel that childhood magic and holiday spirit. But let’s not talk about that… First of all, I'd like to sincerely wish a very Happy New Year to each and every one of you with the hope that all your ideas and desires will come true, and that you'll live in love and care alongside those you love.
Last year, I wished to finish working on "The Criminal Diaries," my fifth book, write a few more songs, and work on the idea of one short story. In the end, I didn’t only do the last thing in this list 'cause I decided that the idea wasn’t very successful. But I am proud that I achieved my main goal for 2025 – I finished writing my book "The Criminal Diaries" from start to end. I created wonderful covers for it and publish new chapters regularly. Some new songs were written as well, and now they are waiting for their moment to shine. Do I consider my new book a success? Absolutely, yes! Not only because I truly love it and consider it one of the most emotional books of mine in a psychological sense, but also because it does have readers, even if there are only two people or somewhat. There is some interest in it, and I can clearly see that in the view statistics. Yes, the actions and moments may be controversial at times. But I consciously choose not to make my characters perfect, and I allow them to be loyal companions, who are ready to go through fire and water for those they love, as well as despicable bastards, who need to find themselves a victim. And I am very glad that there are those who enjoyed that. It's also okay if someone just checked out a few pages and closed the book. Thank you to everyone who stays with me. And thank you to those who don’t show themselves in any way but still take an interest in my work. You are the reason my stories continue to live.
Overall, I can’t say that I’m at the bottom, even though there are still a lot of things I would like to achieve. Anyway, I sincerely thank everyone who subscribed to me this year, checked out my works, added them to their libraries, liked them, and even left comments. Everything matters to me and reminds me that I’m writing something that has at least some chance of being noticed. Maybe it's not perfect, but it's honest, unpolished, and written from the bottom of my heart. And I will continue creating next year as well because I haven’t said or shown everything yet, preparing to celebrate the fourth year of my writing career in February 2026.
Happy New Year, my dear sweeties!
Love, Estrella Rose.
