It only takes flying a few parsecs in an unknown direction for the nature of corrective work to start differing from what we're used to. In a world ravaged by heat and destruction, two people are trying to survive amid the ruins of civilization. The system is broken, and the old ship they’re managing to escape the wasteland on turns into a deadly trap. Is it possible to find salvation without risking one's life?

When the narration was nearing the end, Snow said in the forest: "three dead are enough for me." At the same moment, the lines "Where they strung up a man they say murdered three" from the song "The Hanging Tree" popped up in my head. They flashed like a bright epiphany, and no longer left my mind. That's why this story was born.

In the far corner of the garden, where time has stopped, there is an old table made of massive wood, surrounded by lush foliage and a haze of fog, like a mysterious veil hiding the past and the future. An exquisitely carved porcelain cup stands on it, crowned with patterns like flower petals shrouded in an unearthly mystery.

That evening, the sky blossomed with lights, like a huge kaleidoscope in the hands of the gods. Orange, pink and purple shades mixed in this grand palette, as if the artist's brush was slowly and carefully stroking the clouds. The air was filled with the smell of freshness after a long rain, and at that moment, standing on the top of the hill, I felt that the world was coming to life around me.
