Chapter 6 Land of the giants

Settings
When we first came across the first patch of giant remains we were concern about what ever killed them would come for us but according to the crew doctor Maggie we should be immune to what disease wiped out the giant species ,hopefully, and after being reassured we continued our exhibition throughout this dead land As we explored we discovered more and more structures filled with skeletons of those that once lived in them the giants and with each building we came across more relics that were most likely common items to these giants as well as forms of writing obviously written in the language of giants a language no one alive can read but thankfully along side what we assumed were notes or shopping list we also found larger collections of ancient books that also had pictures probably what was used to teach the children of the ancient giants From what we could gather the giants lived in a society of peace or as peaceful as a children's book would be allowed to show and that these giants had made impressive strides in their technology but unfortunately these books didn't show us how it worked and from the looks of what we found their technology and machinery were far too damaged and eroded for us to even to use We continued our exploration finding more pictures, paintings and portraits left behind by the giants until we found one that caught our interest a wall painting that depicted what are clearly giants standing before something massive in comparison to the giants and considering the size of the skeletons we came across so whatever it was truly a massive creature we were throwing out theories until one suggested "Maybe it was a titan." And taking into account the different sizes of the remains of both giants and titans it would make sense but what was depicted it was not a titan we knew meaning there is another titan out there but the wall graffiti didn't depict what kind of titan it was it physical depiction didn't match any of the titans we know of if it is not dead that means if it is still alive it was out there After this discovering we moved on to the last of the giants structures we reboarded our boat and set sail we left the dead land and the dead sea and began heading for open waters most of my crew tried to convince me that it's time to head home part of me wonders if it is time but when I look out to the open sea I asked myself a simple question 'what else is out there?' and my desire to explore is reinvigorated and I ordered them to continue and that is what we did despite the rest of the crews obvious exhaustion due to this voyage and distain they were beginning to harbour towards me but we pressed on
