Three days since we left the land of the dead giants and I'm beginning to sense that the crew is is showing me hostility towards it started small conversations that ended whenever I am around, insults hidden behind coughs thrown in my direction and so far most had just decided to give my the cold shoulder the only that still talks to me with some respect is Celeste who has been working long and hard to keep the crew from committing mutiny but I fear her efforts are beginning to waning
Update Celeste had decided to sit me and the entire crew down to talk and clear the air one by one each of my crew mates began to voice their complaints and they all boiled down to they are tired and they wanted to go home and for a brief moment I considered standing by my decision to press on but looking at my crew and beginning to become aware of the exhaustion that had taken a hold of me I agreed it was time to end this voyage but I asked them one question
Which route home are we going to take? That question brought smiles to their faces and we began to discuss. Some agreed that if we head straight on our current heading believing that we will eventually arrive back at our home continent on the opposite coast but others argued that the world is flat and that we should retrace our steps and so it was left to a vote after which it was decided that we would go on with only two crew mates voting to head back
During our voyage back home we caught sight of a few islands the crew was worried I'd want to explore but I restrained myself we had more than enough supplies no need to stop so I ordered we pass on which made breathe a sigh of relieve and after two additional days we finally arrived home proving my flat earth believing crew mates wrong and finally reuniting with our families
Once we made land fall my crew didn't hesitant to begin running home and I met up with my family they had questions to which I answered by sharing my notes and sketches of every place I had seen and been too and when we got to the point of Ivory the bone tail titan they had their own stories to share about them which I expected when someone meets with a living titan
I'm not going lie I missed my family there were moments I was glad they weren't around of course but there were moments I wish I had someone to talk to about certain nonsensical topics just for the fun of it but talking with my sister Alita about absolute nonsense was quite a relieve and a nice escape from overly serious conversations I would have with my crew members and after some time to rest in a familiar place curiosity begin to eat at me about the islands we passed on our way home
