Corpse continent series book two: Rise of the Arcane kingdom

The third born child and first born daughter Dominique she grew up admiring her father and brothers so much so that when she was fourteen she began training to become apart of her fathers police officers but before she could complete her training the great cataclysm hit she survived and even joined in on the search and rescue operation but after a month of finding more dead bodies than she did survivors this broke Dominique's spirit and she locked herself away only allowing her mother, little sisters and Abigail to come near her After some time Dominique with the help of Abigail began to recover from everything she saw in the rubble of Allura but she was still haunted by what she saw so Abigail who has been helping Hela in the kitchen cooking meals together decided to invite her to join them her mother seeing her reclusive daughter in her kitchen all Hela said was "Want to help us bake a cake?" Dominique nodded her head yes and following both her mothers and Abigail's instructions they baked a simply looking cake that was delicious After her first time in the kitchen Dominique developed a love for baking and that lead to a love cooking entirely she would rarely seen outside the kitchen and when her mother would decide to open a restaurant the Queen kitchen Dominique and Abigail were the first to work in the kitchen put Abigail and Dominique in the same kitchen the food that comes out is something to be desired Everyone who came into the restaurant were served a plate of food and once they tasted what was in front of them each person would develop a great big smile on their faces and when ever Dominique would see these smiles she would gain a warm fuzzy feeling and with this feeling fresh in her heart she would make delicacies and pastries that would receive compliments from every mouth that it fed After a few short years the 'Queens kitchen' had become the most popular place in Astraea so much so that they had open another restaurant to accommodate the growing number of people one under Hela's management and the other under Abigail and Dominique's and the two of them would spend days and nights together before either of them would finally propose After sharing a night together both of them would asked the other "Will you marry me?" In complete unison they both at laughed at each other and in unison they gave their answer "Yes" and the next day they invited the family to announce that they were getting married this announcement was not at all surprising for them to hear since they spend so much time together that people regularly mistake them for a married already but the lack of surprise wasn't enough to dampen their joy and celebration was thrown Like all weddings held in this family before Dragon the king was the officiate and everyone else was serving as witnesses Dominique wearing a suit made from Abigail signature colours and Abigail wearing a dress made with Dominique signature with Dragon speaking the standard skript and the ceremony was concluded with Dominique and Abigail sharing a kiss everyone celebrated shared some food and danced after their honeymoon night they went right back to their old way of life with little change that change being they are now officially married One day after several months of continuing their old routine Abigail in bed with Dominique asked her question that has been on her mind for a while Abigail: What do you think of having a baby together? Dominique: I think there's going to be quite an adjustment period, one I'm willing to endure if you are? Abigail: I'm willing [Gives her a kiss] Okay now than we may to hire more employees to help you around the restaurant when the pregnancy will eventually leave me unable to work Dominique: Wait hold on what makes you think I don't want to be the one who will carry our daughter? An argument would rise between the two of them about who would be the one to stay home and wait for their child's due date, their argument would become more and more intense and the two of them would go to bed angry for the first time in their relationship and the next day the tension between was so thick that their customers would pick up on the tense atmosphere all without knowing exactly what's going not long into the day Hela would arrive at their restaurant hearing about the strange tension between the head chef and restaurant manager Deciding this needed to be handled right here and now Hela announced to the entire "Excuse me everyone I'm so sorry to interrupt you all but I am closing this restaurant for the rest of the day again so sorry I hope the rest of day goes well please leave right now." The customers would exit the restaurant in an orderly fashion and before Dominique could ask her mother what she is doing Hela told her and Abigail in a stern voice "Sit down." both of them sat down without an argument Without being asked the other restaurant employees quickly left the room while the three of them talked. After a moment of silence Abigail and Dominique told her about their fight and how neither are willing to back but Hela shut them down by asking a simple "How many children do you two plan on having?" Once they heard they both realized the same thing both can take turns having a child since neither just wanted to stop at one child so after a lengthy discussion they agreed to both have carry a child Dominique wanted to give birth to their first born and Abigail agreed to carry their second born Afterwards the atmosphere in the restaurant went back to normal, Dominique took the miracle elixir and was immediately pregnant with her and Abigail future daughter and as they worked they discussed names and at last landed on 'Angela'
