While Orion spend the years training to become the next king, Magnus becoming a respected officer and Dominique becoming a well renowned chef and baker the three of them would become married and have children Hecate would focus her intentions else where primarily in magic for long before the great cataclysm she had a deep interest and love for magic creating new forms of magic and magical items After the great cataclysm Hecate used all her magical knowledge to create more effective forms of healing magic to help the people suffering from grievous physical injuries and through her creation of earth magic gauntlets which aided in the construction of the city of Astraea but ever since the cataclysm Hecate would never fail to notice the people staring at her with fear and suspicion they knew it was a powerful kind of magic that destroyed their home and left them in this situation Hecate couldn't change history but she could ensure that it wouldn't repeat itself so with her father, mother and elder brothers they discussed how to ensure magic wouldn't be used to harm, kill or terrorize anyone ever again Magnus revealed Magnus: I haven't seen a single outside our family use magic ever since that day I think when they use their magic it reminds of what happened Dragon: Well there's nothing we could do about that but over time people will stop being afraid of their own power Orion: And eventually their will be people who wish to use this power for their own gain Hela: People like Malcolm will slowly emerge as time goes on Dragon: So does anyone have any suggestions? Hecate raising her hand: I have one. Needless to say that magic is a powerful tool we have proven it can be used to create and the shapeless had shown everyone that it can also be used to destroy instead of being ashamed of that dark side of our magic we teach future the entire history of magic both the good it brings and the bad and let them learn to do better Magnus: What about those to stubborn to learn from history? Hecate: We have the tools and resources to ensure those kind of people will easily be dealt with showing the people if you use the power given to you for selfish purposes will be reminded that consequences exist for a reason Orion: One final question who is going teach the future generations our history? Hecate: Well me of course in a classroom in my own school with your children being the first of my future students A few short years later Hecate was explaining to her nieces and nephews how you can combine ice magic and their favourite foods do create a frozen delicacy she would name ice cream and would help as they tried to recreate it on their own and after making their first patch of ice cream Hecate took them on a little trip to populated street on one of the hottest days of the year where they would offer a nice cold treat to the sun baked civilians By the head of the day Hela and her students had completely ran out of ingredients to more ice cream and before they could pack up and go home a pack of children with their parents would approach them and asked them how they made their cold treat and Hecate asked them in response "Want me to teach how?" The children would excitingly shake their heads yes while their parents would ask how much she would expect payment for this lesson Hecate told them it was free of charge Hecate's magic lesson once reserved for her children of her siblings now include the children of the rest of Astraea at first she would just teach them how to use magic to create delicious food and this become the door way for many children to start asking questions about magic and Hecate would happily guide them to figure out the answers for themselves Whenever it was time for the children to head home it was always an argument they would beg constantly to stay for a bit longer some have even asked to stay overnight it would always take both the parents and Hecate to convince them to finally head home but it wasn't just the children that would be a hassle to convince to leave, Hecate was a very beautiful woman and would regularly receive compliments and sometime her students parents would flirt and invite her out to a dinner she would always struggle to find the right way to politely turn the down Sometimes she refuse them by explaining that she would rather focus on the education of the children and had no real interest in a relationship with anyone sometimes this was enough but once in a while their was always someone who would grab her arm and try persuade her to reconsider but she grew up with a father and brothers who taught her everything there is to know about self defence so whenever Hecate would come across someone getting physical with her she can easily take care of herself, she would break free from their grip twist their arm break it and than immediately heal their broken bone because she didn't want to hurt them she just wanted to make something clear 'no means no' After some years the people of Astraea understood two thing one Hecate was not interested in any kind of romantic relationship and two her school would turn the children of Astraea into intelligent curious little humans and gave their parents alot of time to themselves Hecate's academy of magic that's what they called it a name that gain a respectful and trustworthy reputation within all Astraea and even the other kingdoms
