Corpse continent series book two: Rise of the Arcane kingdom

Earth magic, rune killers, air strike cannons and an army ready for a fight, they moved quickly within days they were setting foot on Rahara soil ready end this war on the first day fire rained from the sky due to the anarchist cannons but were swiftly taken down by a few soldiers with rune killers that also took down the armored anarchist well those who armor was powered runes but the anarchist decided to introduced their own rune free power armor large and clunking but powerful enough to put up a fight but were easy to take down either by melting them freezing them in place, striking them with lightning or even burying them When night fell the anarchist retreated back to the city and the arcane forces made camps all along side the out skirts of Rahara where many remained awake to keep watch for potential anarchist infiltrators these night watchers had seen signs of movement from the anarchist and were put on high alert but Angela had another idea she ordered that the soldiers act like they didn't see anything and allow the anarchist to walk in just don't let them leave and like she expected they took the bait and now they had double the amount of prisoners On the second day Dragon lead a group soldiers into Rahara using earth magic to force their way into Rahara believing this would be the end but the anarchist had one last low level trick using the children as human shields making the arcane soldiers hesitant create small opening for the anarchist to take advantage of and shot them dead turning the invasion south for Dragon and not wanting to harm the children he ordered a mass retreat and left Rahara. That night they were discussing what to do next Hela: Using children as shields, that mans cruelty will never cease to disturb me Dragon: I lost many good men and women say what ever you about Malcolm he knows how handle his enemies Angela: His one praise worthy trait now that we showed them that we can force our way into their home with ease their probably going to have something ready for us when we would try that again Dragon: Oh no doubt so let's think of new plans to fight them On the third day the arcane forces made their way back into Rahara but were surprised when the streets were completely empty when they searched every building and house and all they found was nothing but a ghost town everyone was confused and came to a conclusion that they all moved to the other district in Rahara but not without leaving a few surprises for them and a few Arcane members came across some explosive and ended up dead Dragon and Aaron put themself in charge of finding these explosives and disarm them by the end of the day they found over a hundred explosives but still weren't sure if they found all of them With that threat looming over head Dragon decided to continue into Rahara looking for Malcolm, Hela remained in the northern district waiting for some anarchist to try and reclaim this district and Aaron took back some of their injured forces to their fortress campsite to patch them up. Dragon headed for the western district and that is when he came across the anarchist and got to work he lead his forces to use earth magic to immediately restrain the people with stone but upon closer inspection he realized these were not soldiers but ordinary civilians and Malcolm was no where to be found nor any of his anarchist When he had the people gathered in one spot Dragon addressed them and asked them "People of Rahara whether you chose to comply or not you will not be harmed in any way but I asked you where is Malcolm and those who follow him if anyone knows I asked you to tell." No one spoke up Dragon expected that and ordered his soldiers to investigate all their homes but also told them to remember these were fellow humans and as they search they saw how the people of Rahara lived when they left they came back after a while but this time with arm loads of food and without saying a word they filled the people selves and after a few days the people began to open up to the Dragon and his forces and they told them that none of them knew where Malcolm's people but told them that under Rahara are several tunnels and that for centuries people mostly gang members as of recently After being told this Dragon found the entrance to these tunnels and with a few guards they entered and they didn't find who they were looking for but they found traces of them which were enough and when they resurfaced Dragon and Hela organized a search party they located all the entrances to the underground tunnels and in groups of five they entered the tunnels and began searching them. It didn't take before the anarchist and Malcolm were found a fight broke out hearing sounds of fighting the others including Hela and Dragon and they joined in after a battle of magic, bullets and fist the anarchist were defeated and at the mercy of Dragon and Hela One of the prisoners was Malcolm and of course decided to execute him but in the dark where people could question if he was really dead they assembled the people and brought them to the left leg of the standing titan where both Malcolm and the people of all three kingdoms and on an elevated platform Malcolm was brought before the people he had attacked harmed and scarred and just anyone could say a word the sound of thunder echoed through the sky and Malcolm laughed and said "Storms coming I'd suggest you all take cover." And as he laughed thunderbirds five of them came down from above and flied in a circling formation creating a massive storm
