Corpse continent series book two: Rise of the Arcane kingdom

Another day another battle but this time the anarchist had gain a small victory taking a small chunk of Allura but before they could enjoy their victory of gaining an addition to their own territory many of them felt the ground under them shift and shake suddenly and in the next second the dirt beneath their boots came to life and attacked them all over this slice of Allura beings made from dirt, rock and stone were attacking nobody new what was going or how to fight back A few days earlier Dragon had approached Hela to asked her to help create a new kind of weapon Dragon: Imagine if the ground you walk on suddenly and without warning turned on you and attacked, could that be possible? Hela: [Thinking heavily] Yeah I think I can do that but [Looks at Dragon with a concerned expression] Dragon: What? Hela: I'll help you create earth magic if you can confidently assure that your not going to become like the man we are fighting Dragon: You want assurance look in the mirror and before you joke about the pressure of being the one that keeps me grounded just know you don't need to do anything extra you just have to continue being who you are and living in this world and that will be enough [gives her a kiss] Afterwards they got to work and after several days they managed to create a form of magic that can control stone, rock and dirt known collectively as earth magic and after some practice with this magic and the rune made from it Dragon had placed several earth magic runes around the very place that the anarchist took and when they completely ran out his allies Dragon poured his focus into runes hidden turning the battle into pure chaos and once he cornered them and had them caged one of the anarchist launched a flare into the sky which he thought meant reinforcements but was surprised when suddenly something from the sky a ball of fire came and fell on all of them only Dragon survived When he returned he explained what had happened and needless to say everyone was shocked to hear it some refused to except that the anarchist would so easily kill their own for nothing but after the shock wore off Dragon employed Aaron to find a way to counter this new long range attack while he was doing that their was one thing on ever bodies minds why would the anarchist create such a weapon and use it with so little concern not worrying about killing their own people in the cross fire and some of the people began to wonder are the anarchist even trying to win this war at all and this was the topic of conversation between many members of the Arcane gang mainly it's youngest members Leah, Jack and Mya were doing there chores they were given training new soldiers and healers while doing so they would hear their trainees talking about the madness of the anarchist Leah: You know I don't think I've ever thanked Dragon enough because hearing all this talk about him reminds me a time I much rather forget Jack: I know what your talking about our time Malcolm did not leave a good impression did he? Mya: Please don't say his name I don't want to hear it Leah: Alright Jack: Will do The reason they didn't wish about their childhoods was because of how Malcolm treated them turning the boys into free labor and the girls entertainment for his men Malcolm didn't care about anything that wasn't a good fight and when they were saved by Dragon Malcolm wasn't effected but his men who missed playing with the girls so to keep his men satisfied he collected a few orphaned girls to keep them entertained and these girls were only orphaned because their parents were people who made themselves his enemies The arcane forces now with earth magic reinforced their several of their fortress built along the border between Allura and Rahara fortresses that are capable of withstand the anarchist long range cannon fire specially designs by Aaron and he even turned them into indestructible underground work shop to create new weapons and war machines and instantly transport them to the battle field absolutely confident in the fortresses ability to stand against anything but Dragon and Hela insisted that he takes some extra soldiers to guard him But he refuse saying these soldiers could be put to more use on the battle field than protecting someone who easily protect himself but Dragon decided to appoint himself to make sure he was safe to ensure Malcolm could get to him along with Angela who was also not taking any chances with any of their friends but had to leave him alone when a fight broke out up top they had to join in to turn the tide in their Dragon and Angela were more than enough to handle the anarchist but that was until a ball of fire came roaring at them so Angela and Dragon created a massive dome of ice which took the hit and Dragon decided to retaliate by sending a fire ball back at the anarchist and following the first fire balls trail Dragons fire ball and put the anarchist cannon out of commission for good After the battle the Arcane forces had many new prisoners and Aaron had several ideas for new war machines and all the time and help to built them one of these new creations was something to handle those long range cannons Aaron figured out how to control a machine with the help of a something he call remote and built a remote controlled air craft with an elemental cannon on board that Aaron of course figured out how recreate it and when the battle ended the Arcane forces had the anarchist beat in terms weapons and came to decision to lay siege to Rahara and kill Malcolm
