The corpse continent series book 1: The boy named Dragon

After inventing another form of magic and teaching it to the others Dragon used wind magic to soar into the air and stare down at the world saw more to explore and when he asked about the flaming mountain and asked if it really was the corpses of the flaming titan and stone titan and they told him he was right and that the surrounding lands were the home of the Vulcan race hybrids between fire and stone and the more they heard they interested they became and they prepared to leave and head south and Tiamat decided to come along with them Typhon king of Drakkia warned them "I don't wish to stop you but let me tell I and no other Drakkia king have ever had any kind of interactions with the Vulcans so trad with caution." After that warning they headed down south but first they had to decide how they are going to get their by walking and taking the scenic route or fly their way there and cut their journey in half so they decided to take a vote those too impatient to take the scenic route were: Aaron, Magnus, Mya, Jack, Leah and Eric. Those who don't mind taking their time on their way to the Vulcans were: Dragon, Hela, Astrid, Bella and Angel. The only one who didn't cast their vote was Tiamat who didn't see herself as apart of this vote but they told her otherwise and she voted for the scenic route but changed her vote when it would've lead to a tie They had finished packing everything they needed into the Arcane craft and flew right along side Tiamat as they headed for the of the Vulcans and after two days of flying they had reached the mountain of the fire and stone titans and after they landed they immediately met with one of the Vulcan a small one from the looks of it and not wanting to scare them Dragon and Hela approached them calmly and came up with an idea they decided to do their favourite thing when introducing themselves to new people put on a magic show After a display of fire the Vulcan was so impressed that he immediately decided to take them into their home to show the others what they found and off first glance the home of the Vulcans didn't look like much but the Vulcans themselves they came in varies shapes and sizes but could still be described as a being made stone and glowed with fire some were shaped like animals moving on four legs some on two their were even a few who walked on three legs and from the looks of it their stone bodies were able to be melted by their flames and reshaped With Tiamat they created a new show with actual dragon fire mixed with wind and lightning magic and ice magic for the finisher but that seemed invoke the reaction they were expecting it didn't look they enjoyed the icy finish and they learnt what really should've obvious ice is harmful to the Vulcan it puts out their living fire and after apologising they promised to be more careful with their magic and melted the ice with a display of fire magic that worked to put everyone in a better mood After the show they wandered the village and got to know these people and their history which was harder then expected since the Vulcan seemed to be more interested in their magic tricks rather then sharing their history with these outsiders so they decided to go around asking different Vulcan to see who would indulged their curiosity which they found in the form of a Vulcan so large in size they thought they were just a mountain but in reality they were the oldest living Vulcan around and they were far more open to sharing their peoples history In their early years the Vulcan race were nothing but rock that generated fire but after centuries sensing the life around them and learning how to emulate them which each creature they met they learned more and more and became what they are today and over the years they grew to a point and remained at that point for tens of thousands of years taking the stones and rocks and boulders around them and melting and reforming them into personal shelters that mainly serve to protect them from elements of nature and as for what they eat their diet consist of stones, coals, jewels and crystals the latter of which is more favored by the Vulcan what they eat adds to their size and mass They don't really need to eat for they don't feel hunger but they mainly for the size increase and are able to talk thanks to their first encounter with humans thousands of years ago they learned how to make a cracking sound that resemble human speech and even after these human died they still talk like them to honour them and eve though it's easy to believe that Vulcans are immortal Vulcan in the past have gotten to old and their fire went out and they become like mountains and pretty much fused with the land scape itself and when one dies two Vulcan who share a bond would take a part of their own living stone and fuse their pieces together creating a new Vulcan After several days living among the Vulcan race they everything their is to learn about them and asked the giant Vulcan if they met other creatures like human but not really and where they can find them and they told em about the Anansi and Chirons to east it's been a thousand years since the Vulcan last saw one but Vulcans do not forget anything but the Anansi and Chirons might have after all that time and after so many years these two races were probably not the same peaceful creatures they once. To repeat the word of king Typhon "Trad with caution."
