Season 1: Diana Crevan.

Phase 1: The Boiling Islands.

Episode 3: I Was a Bad Teenage Abomination - Part 1.

The camera switches to Diana, her long hair covering her yellow-green eyes, completely obscuring them, and to Luz, Eda, and the King standing on the beach. Eda: (admiringly) So, Diana, Luz... Did you both ever think you'd see something so breathtaking? Ida points to the slug corpse towering above them. It lies surrounded by trash and dirt. Flies buzz loudly around the corpse. Luz: (gulps) I don't like this. Diana: (disgusted) So much dirt. (now with a hint of pity) Poor thing, they didn't even give her a proper burial, they left her to rot. (she said) Ida: (walks up to him) Yeah, there's nothing more inspiring than a slug. It creates its own home, its own life, out of what everyone else considers unnecessary. (pulls out a rubber chicken and throws it away.) And then—bam!—one day it dies from a salt wave. And we sell what it ate. (pulls out a pickaxe.) Luz: (frightened) Please don't make me do this. King: (sarcastically) Come on, Luz. It's not every day you go to a landfill and rummage through a pile of trash. Ida swings the pickaxe at the slug. The glass shattered. Diana's heart sank, and she turned away. Diana: (to herself) How could she treat him like this? He was a living being, and they didn't even bury him. (She covered her mouth with her hand.) What if he had children? (She felt sorry for the slug.) Luz: (cautiously) So, Eda... Maybe you could teach me some new skills? Like... reading ancient scrolls, mixing potions, or... Ida: (picking up dirty clothes and tossing them aside) This looks like something they do at a school of witchcraft and wizardry. Diana: (surprised) School? Luz: (enthusiastically) Wait. Is this a school of wizardry? With spiraling towers, cute uniforms, and shady, life-threatening deals? You mean that kind of school, right? Ida: (explaining) Yes. The worst part is that they force you to learn magic the "right" way. But magic isn't right or wrong. It's wild and unpredictable, and that's what makes it so beautiful. I didn't go to school, and look at me! Who wouldn't want to be my victim right now? Ida stands next to a trash can, surrounded by flies. Diana: (sarcastically) You must have done well in this school to graduate so early, good job. (she crossed her arms over her chest) Luz felt sad, Diana put her hand on her shoulder and looked at Ida again. Diana: (seriously) And by the way, are you going to teach me martial arts or what? Luz and I have been staying with you for five days now, and you haven't taught us anything yet. (she told her) Ida swallowed nervously, realizing that Diana was right. Ida: (An idea occurs to her.) Ah... Hey, I have a lesson for your friend. A great witch has to be resourceful, that's all. (She takes Luz's hand and dips it into a puddle of slug bile.) Luz pulls out a lump of slime and fur or something from the slime. Luz: (Sighs.) Wow. A thick lump of slime. (She didn't like it.) Ida: Use your slug wisely, young witch. (She returns to the slug.) Let's get back to work! First, let's shake off these stinky clumps. Diana: (thoughtfully) Is that a seed? I wonder if it will help my friend? (She pauses.) Luz: Actually, if you don't mind, Diana and I would rather go home and admire pictures of living animals. Diana: And then we'll read our favorite books. Both girls approached the King, who was lying on a towel. Luz: (pats his tummy) I love you, King. Diana: (pats his head) We'll be back soon, King. Ida: (smiling) Well, I'll get some more. (rummages through the trash) There, I found it.

The first musical introduction to the first half of the first season - episodes 2 through 10.

At the beginning of the scene, the door opens, and Diana and Luz fall headfirst from the sky to the sound of music. Diana's bangs cover her yellow-green eyes. But at that moment, Eda, flying on her staff with the King, catches them. Luz and Diana perch on Eda's staff. Diana tucks her bangs under her hair, pinning them with two bobby pins, which helps. Together, they fly toward the Owl House. The door to the Owl House opens, and Luz enters with Eda's staff, but Eda takes it. Luz looks upset, but Diana appears and roughly pushes Eda away. She then removes the miniature Death Scythe from her neck, a gift from Undertaker, and snaps her fingers. The Death Scythe returns to its normal size, and Diana hands it to Luz, who accepts it with both joy and apprehension, while Diana only smiles softly. At that moment, Eda stands up and looks at them understandingly. A mural then appears, depicting Willow, Gus, Bosha, and Amity from four angles: Willow clasps her hands in a heart shape, Gus raises his arms triumphantly, Bosha turns her back to the camera but briefly looks into the lens with a blush on her cheeks and a slight smile, then crosses her arms, closes her eyes, and turns away from the camera completely, while Amity stands with her back to the camera, eyes closed. The King tries to look intimidating surrounded by falling plush toys. In this photograph, Diana, with her bangs completely covering her yellow-green eyes, and Luz are flying over the town of Bonesbrough on Eda's staff. Diana controls the staff, and Luz sits behind her, clinging to it. They encounter the long-nosed captive Tinella Nosa, and then Willow and Gus, with whom they shake hands before being overtaken by the Emperor's coven. Diana and Luz lift Eda and the King into the air. They flip over, Luz grabs her staff in panic, and Diana quickly removes the miniature Death Scythe from around her neck, snaps her fingers, and the Scythe returns to its normal size. Diana jumps up and quickly turns to look at the monster standing before them, then slices it with the Death Scythe, killing it instantly. In the next shot, Bosha is walking and talking on the phone, then notices Diana flying on Eda's staff along with Luz and the others. Unaware of Bosha's presence, Diana snaps her fingers, shrinking the Death Scythe. She then places it around her neck, hiding it under her blouse. Bosha, seeing Diana's Death Scythe, drops the phone and is speechless. The last two shots: the first is at night. Luz, Eda, and the King are standing on the roof of the Owl House. Luz creates a symbol of light that rises into the sky. In the final shot, Diana lies on the attic floor, writing something in her diary. Suddenly, the room begins to shake, and Diana jumps to her feet, noticing something shocking. She finds herself standing directly on a huge red petrogram with a star in the center of the circle. The petrogram begins to glow bright green, and Diana drops her diary onto the petrogram, then closes her eyes against the bright light. At this moment, we see the night sky with the caption "The Owl House. Created by Dana Teras."

The end of the first musical introduction to the first half of the first season, episodes 2–10.

In the forest. A monster vaguely resembling a butterfly was breathing heavily. Luz and Diana were walking along the path. Luz: (asking) Diana, I want to ask. Is your ability related to your long bangs? Does it work when you're not wearing clear contacts, or not? Diana: (explaining) It works when I'm wearing clear contacts or glasses, but without them, my ability doesn't work. Luz: I understand. She looked away, then back at Diana. Luz: (smiling) By the way, you're doing pretty well: you've been walking around the attic without contacts for three days now. You're making progress, just like at home. Diana: (grinning) I know my room in the human world like the back of my hand and have memorized every detail. That's why I'm so good at finding my way around. In these three days, I've already learned to navigate the attic in this world without contact lenses, but I still need to learn to navigate by ear, and that will take some time. (she told her) Luz looked at her friend with admiration, and then they both heard a female voice. Little Witch: (encouraging herself) You can do it! You can do it! Luz: (Following the voice, like Diana) A mystical voice, encouraging? They both parted the bushes, and Luz gasped. Diana's bangs hid her eyes, but she looked at the source of the voice with disbelief and suspicion. They saw a plump fourteen-year-old girl with fair skin, pointed ears, and short dark blue hair. She wore black-framed glasses, looked at them with olive-green eyes, and was dressed in some kind of uniform: a gray tunic with a dark gray belt, hood, and boots. Her sleeves and legwarmers were purple. This little witch's name was Willow Park. Next to her, on a wooden cart, lay a book, a backpack, and a stone vase. Luz: (Sighs) No! A little witch. Diana: (Thinks) Is that a school uniform? Well, her school uniform is very stylish, but purple doesn't suit her. Green sleeves and leggings would suit her. (She paused, looking at me appraisingly from under her bangs.) Willow: (stands up and starts pacing) You can do this. Even if you got a bad grade, that doesn't mean you're a bad witch. And my parents are right. (stops pacing) You'll achieve more this way. Now, to school! (steps forward and points confidently, but immediately becomes upset when she notices she's stepped on a flower) Oh no! Oh, my little friend! Forgive me! She kneels down and traces the magic circle a few times. The flower comes to life and blooms in all its glory. Luz gasped at the sight, and Diana smiled softly. Diana: (thoughtfully) She studies plant magic and loves it very much. (then she shook her head and lightly slapped herself on the cheek.) No, her appearance and character are deceiving. I won't fall for that. (she thought) Diana is very wary of new people and classmates at the school where she and Luz attend because of an incident that happened to her when she was six. After that, she began to protect Luz from betrayal and suffering. At that moment, another car, glowing with green energy, appears and pulls up next to the young witch. Diana and Luz notice another witch, about fourteen years old, sitting in the car. The girl has pale skin, chin-length hair pulled back into a ponytail to keep it out of her face, and bright golden eyes. Like most witches, she has pointy ears. Her hair is two-toned, a mix of aquamarine and chestnut, with her natural color showing at the roots. She wears a gray tunic with a dark gray belt, a hood, and boots. The rest of her outfit includes black triangle earrings and black nail polish. On her hood is a star badge, denoting her academic achievements. This girl's name is Amity Blythe, and she comes from a wealthy family. Luz: (Teasingly, she nudges Diana's shoulder.) Hey, Dee, look at that hot witch, she paints her nails black, just like you. Maybe she'll be your future girlfriend and wife, huh? (She told her so.) Diana: (Snort.) I'm straight. And I don't like that stuck-up witch. (She turned away and snorted again, crossing her arms.) Amity: (Smirks.) Willow! (jumps out of the car) Wow. You're so sneaky, I almost hit you. Willow: (hesitantly) Hey, Amity. Amity: You should get to class early to prepare... (interrupted) At that moment, Willow's cauldron falls, and Abomination, eye and all, collapses to the ground. Amity: (feigning sympathy) Oh, Willow. You have nothing to show for it, do you? Luz: Witch drama! Diana: (thoughtfully) Upstart! This Amity is 100% elite, and her friends are the same. (she thought disdainfully) Willow timidly pulled her hood over her head. Amity: That's why everyone calls you "Underground Witch Willow." Oh, looks like someone wants to tell you something. (She opens the cauldron lid and snaps her fingers.) Abomination, wake up! Amity Abomination jumped out of the cauldron and placed her finger on Willow's head, forming a star. Amity: Oh. It's just like mine. (She touches the "Top Student" badge.) Only more petty and meaningless. As the top student, I have to constantly remind you of that. (She places her hand on Willow's shoulder, as if hugging her.) Even if you ever pass the exam. Abomination, fall. The Abomination returned to the cauldron, and Amity closed the lid. Amity: (saying goodbye) See you in class, superstar. Amity drives away in her cart, Willow takes off her hood, Luz looks at her with her tongue hanging out, and Diana clenches her fists, hiding her gaze under her long bangs. But her aura, which Luz sensed, was filled with deep anger, and she realized that Diana's eyes glowed a bright yellow-green beneath her bangs, but the bangs hid that light. Diana: (thoughtfully) How dare she... At that moment, Luz hugged Diana, who instantly calmed down, her anger subsiding. She hugged Luz back and released her friend a few seconds later. Luz: (knowingly) I don't like her either. Diana didn't respond. Willow: (faking a smile) "Oh, see you in class, superstar!" (wipes a sticky star-shaped substance from her forehead) I hate it when she talks like that. Diana: (thinking) Come on, flower fairy, tell me what's on your mind. You'll feel better. (she mentally encouraged her, then looked surprised) Stop! What did I just think? (she shook her head and slapped herself) Willow: (starting to get angry) I hate being looked at with disgust. I hate getting bad grades. Ugh! I can't take it anymore! At that moment, a wind picked up around Willow. Her eyes glowed green, and vines sprouted from under a dead flower, two of which grabbed Luz and Diana by the legs and pulled them to the ground. Diana pushed her bangs back to cover her yellow-green eyes. Willow turned her head to face the surprised girls, her eyes still glowing.
