I was vaguely aware of thunder that night. Too tired to open my eyes, I reached toward Carol’s side of the bed but my hand met only cold sheets. I heard strange sounds coming from inside the room. I forced my eyes open. Trepidation washed over me. Shadows in the darkness. One shifted. Someone was in the room. The sheet slipped slowly from my body. A face leaned over me. It was Brynn. “Shhh,” she whispered. “That stuff I slipped in your tea should keep you nice and relaxed. Be still, be quiet, and enjoy. You know you thought about this as much as I have.” Through my groggy vision, I felt her lips on mine. Then moving down. My body felt paralyzed. Her lips traveled, her tongue teased my taut nipples, then she slipped lower, toward the spot reserved for Carol. I knew it was wrong but couldn’t stop the sensations. In my mind, I tried to fight it, but my body succumbed. I climaxed with a moan. Moments later, I gasped, eyes flying open. I sat upright, wide-eyed. Carol lay beside me, snoring softly. No one else was in the room. “Just a dream,” I whispered. “Just a silly dream.”
