The girl's amber eyes opened. She was sitting on a soft red chair, and a man was standing in front of her. The green-haired masked youth gently ran his gloved hand over the girl's cheek. Honi frowned.
The stranger's mouth twitched slightly.
"Hello, my dear... Call me Estemo!"
She looked around, and her heart began to beat faster. The room was strange and dim... The walls were covered with strange colored images that seemed alive, as if they were watching her. On the floor, right next to her feet, there was a circle drawn with chalk, its edges slightly blurred, as if someone had tried to erase it, but did not have time.
"What's going on?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Estemo stepped closer, his figure looming over her, and she felt his hot breath on her neck. Everything inside her clenched with anxiety.
"It doesn't matter. The most important thing is that you are here now..." he whispered, his words seemed to penetrate her consciousness, interrupting the flow of panicked thoughts.
Honi was sure that she was kidnapped. But before she had time to come to her senses, Estemo abruptly grabbed her hand and lifted her from the chair. She felt how his fingers tightly squeezed around her wrist, not giving her a chance to escape. Anger flared up inside her - why wouldn't he leave her alone?
"Stop it!" she was indignant, pushing him away with all her might.
Estemo raised his eyebrows in surprise, but his persistence only increased. He approached her again, hugged her and pushed her back onto the chair. His lips were heading for her neck, and at that moment, a wave of disgust swept over Honi. "What an abomination! What is happening?!" flashed through her head. She felt trapped, as if the place itself was a living being that wanted to swallow her up.
"No! Leave me alone, pervert! Get your hands off me! I don't know you! I want to go home!" she screamed, her voice echoing around the room. She tried to break free from his embrace, but he continued to hold her tightly. Some strange sparkle sparkled in Estemo's eyes - a mixture of desire and madness.
She kicked him hard in the groin and tried to run away. He sank to the floor in pain. The guy called out to her: "You... W-wait!"
Honi ran to the door. But the madman quickly caught her and grabbed her hand.
"No, I don't want to lose sight of you again!" he got angry.
Estemo squeezed Honidesu's hand with one hand, and shoved the other into a small bag that hung on his belt. The young man pulled out his hand and blew the black dust right into the girl's face, a moment later she felt her mind swim. He pulled her towards him again. The girl's head began to spin, she had no strength to resist.
"Shh... Relax, don't worry about anything... I understand you... Let's just talk, okay?"
Estemo carefully sat her down on the chair and stepped back. Honi was very confused and could not think clearly.
"Just talk to me..."
"What do you want from me?"
"People should strive for the least amount of energy to achieve balance and harmony. So that they merge into one with the Void! I want us to bring this world to harmony and enjoy each other when we cause the Great Disruption!"
Honidesu did not understand a single word of what this strange man in a mask said. The girl felt weak and strangely euphoric. She sat and smiled strangely, but tried to resist this feeling and wanted to come to her senses.
"Darling, why are you silent?"
"The Great Disruption?"
"Yes, that's right!" Estemo answered happily.
"Okay... um... and do you have your own minions?" Honi asked, clutching her head with her hand.
"Of course, they all love us! They love the Goddess! Everyone is a potential candidate, because everyone has a mind. Many people want to experience happiness in a simple way and I can easily do it! You are a deity, aren't you?"
An awkward silence ensued. Honidesu had no idea what to say to this, but she decided to nod just in case.
Estemo continued to smile: "Oh, don't be shy! I saw you kill a man in armor! Can you do that bright show again? Show me!"
The girl looked away and folded her hands. She felt a pang of guilt, recalling the incident again.
"I was just defending myself..." she sighed.
"I understand, but I don't care about that person. You were beautiful!" Estemo exclaimed, running his hand over Honi's cheek.
She shuddered. She didn't like that masked man.
"But I want to see it again!" the young man asked, taking her hands. His face became serious for a moment.
Honi tensed up, her hands began to glitch and sparkle, creating a small electric discharge that made Estemo step back and let go of the girl. He grinned, as if he was pleased with the result.
"I knew it, you were special... I'll show you to my minions," he said in a quiet, gentle voice. "Follow me."
Estemo led Honi down the corridor, and they went down the stairs. There were several masked people standing below, they all bowed to the waist when they saw their leader next to the girl.
"Finally, the messiah has come to us! We are almost finished!" Estemo exclaimed.
Suddenly, a woman with dark hair entered the room, holding Bonnie's hands.
"This girl somehow got to us, what should we do with her? She had two axes."
"Let me go!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"Yes, let her go!" Honi suddenly said.
Everyone looked at Honidesu, and the silence lasted for a few more minutes.
"Oh, I saw her with the Goddess! She helped me in the forest!" one of the cultists broke the silence.
Estemo looked at the crowd, then at the ginger and sighed: "Let the girl go."
The woman obediently let the ginger go. Bonnie looked questioningly at her friend, who was standing next to the cult leader.
"W-what are you doing?" she whispered.
Honi smiled and tried to wink at Bonnie, showing that she was on her side. The ginger got the signal and bowed.
"I mean, thank you, oh great messiah!"
Honi was embarrassed by her words. The masked leader looked at Bonnie suspiciously, then turned his attention to Honidesu.
"Let me tell you everything," he muttered.
Estemo took Honi by the hand and began to lead her out of the room, Bonnie tried to follow them. She whispered under her breath: "What have I gotten myself into?"
However, the cult leader stopped Bonnie.
"I think the girl should continue communicating with Laura first... But for now, I want to be alone with the Goddess!" The cult leader grinned and pushed the ginger right towards the masked woman.
She obediently led Bonnie along. Honi tensed up.
"I promise she'll be fine, let's go!" Estemo said and led Honi along.
