Glitch Girl

A new day has come, Honidesu and Bonnie woke up. Honi was very tired, her eyes could barely open, she had difficulty getting up. "Hey, what's the matter, Honi?" "I don't know," Honi answered and glitched, "a-apchu!" "Oh no, are you sick? I'm afraid we'll have to postpone our search..." "And why is that?" Honi asked and glitched again. "Cough-cough!" "So you're sick! I won't leave you like this!" "Sick... what? Cough-cough!" Bonnie quickly went into the kitchen. Honi noticed that something strange was happening to her. Zhmak also woke up and looked at Honidesu, he watched her glitch and tried to understand what happened. Bonnie made hot tea and brought it straight to her friend's room. "Here, drink!" the ginger said. Honi was embarrassed, but took the tea. Zhmak happily began to wag his tail again. "Bonnie... I don't drink tea without chocolate..." the girl sighed. "Oh, chocolate... is out..." Honidesu was upset, she put the tea on the table. "Honi, don't be upset, I'll buy you a chocolate bar! The main thing is don't get up!" Bonnie took the phone and called Henry, she warned him that they weren't going anywhere today. "So it's just an illness?" asked Honi. "I thought it was my glitches..." "At times like these, it's best to stay in bed!" "What? Lie? But I don't want!" "I understand, but don't worry, I'll be with you and we'll do something else." "What can I do while lying on the bed?" "Well, first of all, I have to buy you some medicine so that you stop coughing and get well soon! And then... well, we can turn on the TV to watch something." "Oh, okay..." "I quickly!" Bonnie went to get medicine and chocolate, and Honi stayed with Zhmak. The cat looked at the girl and continued to wag his tail, which made her smile. "You are so funny, Zhmak!" Honidesu began to squeeze Zhmak, she hugged him and they continued to lie on the bed together. About an hour later, Bonnie returned with a bag of medicine. Honi took her medicine and finally drank her tea. She felt a little better as the medicine took effect and the chocolate lifted her spirits. Bonnie sat down next to her friend and picked up the remote control. She flipped through the channels and found a show. The show was very funny and interesting. While the girls were watching TV, Zhmak was fast asleep on the edge of the bed. He didn't participate in watching TV, but he was happy nonetheless. The ginger tried not to laugh loudly, so as not to wake up Zhmak. Almost a week passed like this, sometimes Henry came to the girls and brought all sorts of food and healing remedies. Honi eventually recovered, but she was pleased to remember that time. She realized how lucky she was to have such caring people close to her. One cloudy day, Honidesu decided to look at the latest news: "Yesterday a tragic incident occurred. A significant number of passengers died during the train's journey. The cause of the sudden death is unknown. It is difficult to talk about the exact number of victims at the moment. We discovered a strange black smoke that attracted monsters. The investigation is ongoing and we will continue to keep you updated. Stay tuned." "Black smoke? I think this is the work of a cult!" Bonnie got angry. "Today we will return to that place and continue our search!" The girls went in search of the cult again with Henry. Zhmak tried to sniff out a new trail. The sky was gray, the clouds hid the sun, the birds had stopped chirping, the air was filled with the smell of rain. There was almost no one on the street, which caused some concern. Honi had a bad feeling about all this. When the team arrived at the same place, it looked destroyed. Honi's heart skipped a beat. They saw a broken wall and scattered bricks from the building. Zhmak, noticing all the destroyed things, began to walk and sniff, hoping to find something new. "I think there was a sinister mocker here..." Bonnie said. "Things are bad, the wall that covers the city is destroyed! Do the police know about this?" Zhmak led the team further. After about forty minutes of their search, they found another building, but it was dilapidated, and black smoke was also coming from there. They looked inside and saw scattered pieces of clothing. There was blood on the floor. "It looks like there was someone else here..." Honi said nervously. "Another victim..." Bonnie decided to go a little further. Honi and Henry walked next to her. They walked a little further, their eyes widening. Friends saw even more blood and some clothes that seemed to be men's. The place was scary, it smelled very unpleasant. There were dark stains of dried blood everywhere on the floor. Honi and Bonnie couldn't help but be curious and continued to explore everything in this building. Zhmak was very nervous, he even vibrated nervously. He felt that there was someone else here. Suddenly, a severed human hand fell next to Honi, and the girl shuddered. A sinister mocker appeared from a dark corner. The monster opened its mouth, stuck out its tongue and let out a terrifying roar, preparing to attack the team. Henry glared at the monster, frowning. "You! Bastard! I hate you!" he got angry, pulled a knife out of his pocket and rushed at the monster. "Henry!" the friends screamed in panic. The same nightmare she had seen back in December flashed before Honidesu's eyes. Goosebumps ran across the girl's body.  "I don't understand... Maria was killed by a mocker? Although she couldn't have been in the forest... I don't even know the reason for her death! And what happened to her mother? I'll have to find out about it somehow..." she thought. Henry plunged the knife into the mocker's body, but he, almost not paying attention to it, threw it aside. The man hit the wall and fell to his knees. Bonnie took her axes and tried to chop the creature, but it dodged and threw her away too. Honi picked up Zhmak and threw him at the monster. The cat took over the monster, causing it to lose control for a moment. Honidesu used her glitch power to make it distort, causing the monster to howl in pain. Bonnie quickly stood up and chopped off its head. Zhmak came out of the monster's body whole. The girls approached Henry and helped him up. "Henry, are you okay?" Bonnie asked. "Yes, thank you..." Henry answered and scratched his head. "Be careful next time!" Honi warned.Bonnie looked at her hand lying on the bloody floor. "This is terrible! The smell is disgusting too, let's get out of here!" she exclaimed. They quickly left the building. The wind outside was getting stronger and colder. The friends were very tense, the wind was blowing their hair. "We need to find at least some more clues from the cult..." Bonnie sighed, adjusting her hair. "It looks like it's going to rain soon," Henry said, raising his palm, on which a few drops of water fell. "What are we going to do?" asked Honi, looking around. "It's hard to say..." answered Bonnie and squatted down. Suddenly Honi felt some kind of weakness, her head was spinning, and her eyes began to darken. Henry and Bonnie also looked sluggish. They were surrounded by fog. It was getting darker and darker. Honidesu's ears were ringing, she could no longer see anything in front of her... "What's going on?" she thought and passed out.
