Morning mischief

Settings
Bluefur slept restlessly that night. She couldn’t get out of her head that same stranger with daisies in her fur, who calmed her down and treated her with warmth. The image of this unusual cat appeared again and again in the warrior’s head. She thought about many things: she wondered whether this cat was a clan cat, or a loner... The stranger clearly did not look like a stray, she was too well-groomed for that... And she was hardly a healer; they would have told about her long ago at some council and introduced her to all the clans. But most of all, Bluefur was strained by the too strong kindness of that cat. They didn’t know each other... But she didn’t just calm the warrior down... But, one might say, she seemed to feel her mood and appeared in the right place at the right time. So, thinking, Bluefur finally fell asleep, but not for long. The gray cat woke up at dawn, when the rays of the sun just began to make their way into the warrior's tent. Realizing that she would no longer fall asleep, the warrior stretched, yawned, and slowly walked out into the clearing. It was empty, as many of the warriors were still sleeping, and the time for the dawn patrol had not yet come. When the cat slowly reached the heap with the prey and sat down to wash herself, she suddenly felt someone's presence. “Probably one of the warriors woke up” — Bluefur decided and continued to wash herself. For some time she did not feel anything else and did not notice anything until the already familiar smell of daisies hit her nose. The warrior, sensing her, sharply raised her head and began to look around. “It can’t be... It seemed to me ?” - Bluefur thought with surprise, looking around the clearing. She didn’t find the stranger, but the smell of daisies was very fresh, which indicated that the cat was somewhere nearby. “She's hiding...” — Bluefur thought displeasedly, looking around the bushes in search of the cat. And suddenly, from behind the bushes next to the healer’s tent, that same cat suddenly peered out. — Hi! — she exclaimed, and still smiled as at the first meeting. Bluefur stood for a long time in a daze, looking at the stranger. The warrior was very surprised and dumbfounded, and then began to look around restlessly, making sure that none of the warriors woke up and gave this stranger a thrashing for appearing in the clan’s camp. To her surprise, Bluefur noticed that she felt a strange excitement for this kind cat, who was now looking at her with the same kindness and joy... — What are you doing here? — Bluefur hissed, looking at the tents out of the corner of her eye. — The warriors will wake up soon... They may be very unhappy that you are here... Look, I really appreciate you helping me, but you shouldn't... But the stranger, as if not wanting to listen to Bluefur’s remark, only looked at her with a mischievous glance and began to step back, as if beckoning the warrior to follow her. The cat shrugged and silently followed the stranger. They did not move too far, and at that moment, the “daisy” cat jumped sharply, meowing joyfully, and ran to the side, waving its red tail. Bluefur stared at her in bewilderment and indignation, and stomped her paw, beginning to wag her tail. «What is it?» — the warrior thought angrily. — «Yes, she behaves like a kitten that just came out of the nursery! Is there even an iota of seriousness in her? Well, just wait... I’ll just catch up with you... And it won’t seem too little to you!..» Having thought this, the gray cat took off and ran after the stranger. She just burst into her ringing laughter again and ran away. As Bluefur ran after the cat, she felt that she was no longer angry, but on the contrary, she felt as if... Is it getting fun? No matter how much the warrior tried to catch up with the cat, it was more agile and quickly slipped out of her clutches. At this moment, the gray cat noticed that the stranger had stopped, apparently to catch her breath. Bluefur decided to take advantage of this. She bent down and, taking a hunting stance, began to slowly and silently sneak towards the unsuspecting cat. When the warrior crept up as close as possible, she suddenly jumped on the stranger, and she managed to pin her to the ground. «Well, did you get it?» — Bluefur thought slyly. And at that moment, the loud voice of the Sunstar was heard from afar: — Bluefur! Why are you so noisy like a pack of badgers? You woke up the whole camp! It's time for you to go on dawn patrol. — I'm coming, Sunstar! — Bluefur said. She really didn't want to go on patrol! Especially now that she was having so much fun... She reluctantly let go of the stranger, with whom she had frolicked like a little kitten just a few moments ago. The "Chamomile" cat was about to leave, but Bluefur stopped her: — Wait! I still don’t know your name... What is your name? — Rosetail. — The cat answered briefly and disappeared, waving her red tail, leaving Bluefur alone.
