Leaflet meets the squirrel. Conversation with a bee. Meeting with bears. Several days passed. The leaf was basking in the rays of the sun. Suddenly he saw a small squirrel climb up a maple tree and hide in a hollow. Willie decided to meet him and make friends. After some time, the little squirrel looked out of the hollow and began to look around. He was looking for nuts and acorns. Then he noticed that the leaf was looking at him. The little squirrel came out of the hollow and jumped up to Willie. He carefully began to sniff it. The leaf felt very ticklish and he laughed. Then he politely told him: “Please don't tease me. I'm afraid of being tickled." Then he apologized and stopped sniffing him. Willie told him: “You have a very beautiful and fluffy tail.” The little squirrel thanked him. Then he asked him his name. He replied that his name was Willie. Suddenly the mother of this little squirrel stuck her head out of the hollow and called him to eat. The latter politely said goodbye to Willy and disappeared into the hollow. A few hours later, bees flew to the maple, as always. They buzzed loudly and flew from flower to flower and collected nectar to take to the hive. Willie asked one bee to tell him more about the world. He hummed in agreement and said: " Fine. But I just don’t have much time.” he started: “We, a family of wild bees, live not far from this maple tree. Our hive is located on an apple tree. Beautiful flowers bloom on its branches and smell pleasant. We collect nectar from flowers and take it to our hive. There we process it and make delicious honey. We have one special bee. We call her queen. There are also a few drones. They practically do nothing. Only we are told where a lot of nectar is. We also fly very far from here. We saw houses and people. Many different flowers also grow near them. We even flew into houses. But there were traps. We saw how our comrades died. We couldn’t help them and flew away from there in sadness.” The bee stopped talking and began to rub its muzzle and antennae with its paws. Then her friends called her. Then the bee said to the leaf: “If I have free time tomorrow, I can tell you even more interesting things.” "Fine. I'm looking forward to it." And they said goodbye. In the evening, two little bear cubs ran out of the forest. They growled loudly, tumbled and bit each other carefully. Willie saw them and was surprised. He asked the sparrow who was sitting next to him: “Who are these little animals?” Sparrow looked at the players and answered: “These are bears. They are still small. Their mother is somewhere nearby.” Meanwhile, the bears began to climb the maple tree. They saw a hollow and looked into it. Then one bear stuck his paw into it and began to pull out various nuts and acorns. With this he woke up the squirrel, which was sleeping peacefully. She began to take away the bear’s food supplies and became very angry. The bear laughed and began to play with the squirrel with its paw. She was already too angry. That's why she bit him on the paw. The bear was very offended and quickly pulled out his paw and began to lick him. He muttered something under his breath. Then the bears noticed our leaf. They climbed the tree even higher and tried to reach it with their paw. But they didn’t succeed because the leaf was high. Then the bear that was on top began to mischief. He stepped on his brother's face and head with his hind paw. He grumbled displeasedly and tried to remove his paw from his muzzle. But it didn’t work, and then the offended bear climbed down from the tree. He went up to the bushes and began to eat delicious raspberries. The older bear also wanted to eat them. He immediately forgot about our leaf and quickly got off the maple tree. Willie sighed with relief. Meanwhile, the elder ran up to the berries and also began to eat them. Then the bears saw a chipmunk sitting on the ground not far from them and looking for grain for itself. The bears quietly and carefully began to creep up to him. The latter noticed them in time and quickly disappeared from sight. The bears were a little upset. Then they smelled their mother. They looked back, but did not see her. A few minutes later the bear appeared. She walked leisurely towards the bears. She said to them kindly: “Let's go to the river. It's getting cool there now. We’ll catch some fish at the same time.” The bears were very happy. the family disappeared from view. Not far from the maple tree, a small stream flowed merrily. The leaf loved to look at the cheerful stream. He saw how the water sparkled brightly against the golden rays of the sun. It highlighted a very beautiful combination of rainbows. Willie also saw various small fish gliding in the stream. Midges and insects flew over the water. Little birds hunted fish and carried them in their beaks to their nests. The rabbits went to the stream and quenched their thirst. Deer and elk also came and drank from the stream.
