Gangneung happily welcomes them with a scorching unsparing sun that warms their sunscreen-protected skin. The sea gently approaches the shore each time wetting the sand trying to dry each time. It calls to all people to give coolness to let them feel how good it feels to be in the water and how the waves push against their backs. And now it seems to them that the sea calls only them two to envelope and hide them in its embrace as if there is no one else but them. Maybe it even gets angry when Jungkook and Taehyung pass by, holding back their desire to succumb to the water's charms. "We'll go swimming after we're done with the case," Kim shares her biggest wish, which has to be put off until later. "I agree," Jungkook wiped away the sweat with the back of his hand and looked at the sea one last time, wishing he were there as soon as possible. They left the car in a parking lot next to a street market and everyone was staring at the shiny car the rays warming the car because of the generous sun that was giving out its warmth to everyone today. Jungkook was used to this reaction, but Taehyung was embarrassed when he heard how lucky he was to have a guy like that who was also loaded with money and had a car like that. The demon smiled every time Kim muttered to himself that he wasn't his boyfriend and why they were all picking on him. Together they concluded that they wanted to have a snack because they didn't know when they would get a chance to eat and work is worse on an empty stomach. So the nearest modest cafe should be happy to feed the demon and the angel, who try to get there as quickly as possible under the bright sun. The cafe really turned out to be without any shouting, expensive interior, without overpriced dishes. Everything was as simple as possible: the floor was covered with tiles, which had chips in some places, the wallpaper on the wall was pleasantly beige, clean, which was the most important thing, and there were small tables around which did not stand tightly to each other, allowing visitors and waiters to pass freely. Each table was covered with a marsh-colored tablecloth which also had menus on it. The outside of the cafe wasn't exactly remarkable-it was only painted white and had a sign, and fifteen, if not more, pots of flowers. When they sat down at a table closer to the window, they were immediately greeted by an elderly woman who smiled so sunny and friendly. The menu offered was not so varied, one could even say a little sparse, so they had to choose from what was available, but, fortunately, they were not picky, so they quickly chose. "Have you chosen yet? An old woman walks up to them, limping slightly on one leg, and waits for their order. "Yes, for me, please, bungeo-ppang (fish cakes with different fillings) with sweet beans, with potatoes and greens, with eggs and... chocolate" the latter could not be excluded in any case. The woman wrote down all the angel's wishes and proceeded to the demon, who, to Taehyung's surprise, chose the same. Kim only shakes his head negatively, though he wishes he had that ability, even if it doesn't always manifest itself in a positive way. While they're waiting for their buns Taehyung lets Jungkook know about the case, telling him about all the information in the message. The demon only nods understandingly memorizing everything he thinks is necessary while coming up with a plan. A few minutes later they are brought hot pies with all the previously chosen fillings and are wished a pleasant appetite, assuring them that these fish will definitely not leave them indifferent. They don't say anything back because everyone's tastes are different and some dish might not be to their liking. Taehyung and Jungkook bite into the bun at the same time, feeling the tender hot dough melting in their mouths, and the large amount of filling with potatoes at the demon's and sweet beans at the angel's mingles with it, bringing sheer delight. Kim throws his head back in pleasure and almost mooed: he liked these simple dish so much. "I'd sell you for them," Taehyung wiped his greasy hands and reached for the next pie. "This is delicious." "Thank you, angel. I can feel your kindness from afar," the two of them laugh as they cover their mouths with the beautiful dish, feeling completely invested in the moment. Besides them, there are two other couples sitting in the café, an old lady bustling around who is apparently cooking it, waiters running from table to table, something not far away falling, and they are just laughing. They hear only each other's laughter out of all the sounds around them. Then they just continue to eat the delicious pies in silence only occasionally complaining about one of them slurping. When they're done they fall back in their chairs and just sit there enjoying the light heaviness inside. Jungkook beckons the woman over wanting to pay and go on about her business and she, limping again, tries to run up to them quickly, explaining that she doesn't want to hold them up. "I'll pay for it," the demon pushed the money away from Taehyung's hand, meeting his gaze with the angry angel who was about to let his resentment out. "No, I'll do it." "Will you calm down already?" The woman only looks at them with an undisguised smile and smiles. "Why are you getting on my nerves? If you don't want it that way, let's split it." "I've said it all," while Taehyung thinks of what to say, Jungkook quickly pays off the old woman, who turns to the angel and interrupts him with a giggle: "If he has the opportunity to pamper you, to make you happy, go for it. And he will be pleased that he was able to surround you with care and you will be pleased that you were able to get such attitude to yourself. Life is one and you should take everything from it." She leaves without waiting for any response from him. Kim just looks after her thinking over her words especially thinking about the last ones. "Listen to what the elders say," the demon gets up from his seat and goes outside to the sun, which is only glad to give him warmth, waiting for the angel to come to him. The right police station is located not far from this cafe around which for some reason several cars with flashing headlights and about ten police officers are bustling. Sensing something is wrong the two of them take off from the place and running to there grab their sides because of the pain in this area. Running on a full stomach is not a good prospect. The station greets them with the crying of some boy who is trying to prove something to the staff, but his mother only shakes her head wearily at his words, claiming that he just watched enough horror movies. "What's wrong, kid? - Jungkook and Taehyung stand across from the boy, who is ready to tell it all over again. "I saw something drag a man away last night!" he exclaims, pointing his finger at the far parking lot. "What does it look like?" asks the demon while the angel gets details from a nearby employee. It turns out that a man disappeared in the middle of the night leaving behind only a phone and the remnant of a fingernail near one of the cars in the far parking lot. The only witness turns out to be this boy, whom almost no one believes. "I didn't get a good look at it. I was really scared," the boy kicked a small pebble with the toe of his shoe and looked up at Jungkook, hoping to be believed. "Where did all this happen?" he turns around and points his finger at some parking lot where the man's kidnapping happened. "Thank you." Having learned on the way from the locals about possible hotels since it will be useless to investigate the case now they decide to pass the time there, so that they can move out at night or closer to evening. No one will steal a person in the daytime especially when there are a lot of people going back and forth. So, having bought various food and sweets at the nearest market, they go to the hotel which gladly accepted them and provided them with rooms.***
"Shall we go in and get some more pies?" After Taehyung had tasted this masterpiece, he was ready to eat them for the rest of his life, because, as it turned out, the taste was amazing. "Later," Kim only looks sadly at the cafe which is already a few seconds behind them. Most of the crowd that had inhabited the place during the day has dispersed. The evening rejoices in the silence and its special atmosphere bringing pleasure to all present. To give themselves up to such happiness they simply do not have the opportunity. A journey awaits them which, as always, will not tell what the end will be. No one will admit it but it's scary every time. The parking lot turns out to be quite oblong but not that wide. Various cars have fallen into a deep sleep here waiting for their drivers. The streetlights don't illuminate the place well, so the two of them have to squint every time to see something. They split up and go to different ends of the parking lot to comb through everything more thoroughly with flashlights on which should improve visibility somehow. Looking under each car and going around, they exhale irritably each time they find nothing that could indicate a kidnapping. Not only is it dark everywhere, but their minds are playing tricks on them drawing out someone's silhouettes each time. They spend at least half an hour making sure there's nothing in or around the parking lot. "Look, angel, maybe this isn't our case. The man was probably drunk and fell down, and the kid's really been watching scary movies," Jungkook examines the last car and turns off the flashlight on his phone. The flashlight is lit on Taehyung's side, which shows that the angel is still looking through the cars when the demon is already done. "Let's really go to the coffee shop." Jungkook walks past the cars parked on his side moving towards the angel who most likely does not hear, squatting and examining every detail. He is moving towards the right point next to which Kim's phone is shining. "What do you think?" Jeon goes around the hood and turning around once more looks down at the phone, which lies down the screen. The demon is overcome with fear and anxiety when he sees only Taehyung's mobile phone, and not himself. With trembling hands, he puts the phone in his pocket and starts frantically running from car to car, hoping that Kim is still here and he has not disappeared anywhere. Panic covered him from head to toe and blocked his breathing. He grabs the T-shirt in the chest area and squeezes it, feeling that he is starting to suffocate. — Oh, no. Jungkook gets out of his seat and runs to the police station where the officers will have to help him. He tries not to think bad thoughts hoping that Taehyung will use his powers to escape unharmed without fear. Tear to shreds anyone who hurt him in any way. In the most horrible way possible. The police station was open twenty-four hours a day so bursting in, he draws everyone in, shouting and showing his ID that he's FBI and they have a victim. And if they don't get on the case right now he'll put them all out of a job and make them pick up lids under a bridge. "What are you yelling about?" A woman comes up to him, shoving a gun in a pouch next to her hip, and starts questioning him. "What's going on?" "There's been another kidnapping," the woman says something into the walkie-talkie, quickly gathering the entire department. "Same parking lot. Young guy. Blond hair." "Don't panic. Aren't you an FBI agent who should know better than anyone not to panic?" she raises one eyebrow and examines him skeptically, then asks for his ID which she personally examines and hands back with a disgruntled face. "It's very strange that your name is exactly the same as a member of the group. You're not an agent, I'll bet." Jungkook smirks and hides his ID, amazed at the lady's resourcefulness and intelligence. He's silent for a couple of seconds, and then he moves closer to her so that no one can overhear their conversation and speaks: "It's my responsibility to find him, you know? It's my fault for leaving him unattended. And if anything happens to him, I don't know what I'll do to myself. That's why I want you to join me in the investigation of this case. I won't rest until I find him alive." "I can't involve ordinary citizens in what police officers should be doing. We'd be jeopardizing your life as well," the woman sidesteps him and heads for the exit to begin her search. "I don't care about my life. The life I recently cared for is in someone's hands. I will kill you all if anything happens to him." "I understand your feelings," she turns around to Jungkook who is trying to calm down from the anger that has attacked him. "Ten years ago, my husband disappeared. I also tried to find him, but all to no avail. But I try not to give up hope and keep searching until now. We're going out right now and we're going to start looking." Before demon can thank her, she literally runs out of the building and runs to her car, and Jungkook follows her so that she doesn't have to stand on the sidelines. She commands everyone to look through all the houses, all the nearby buildings, beaches, and so on. They drive down the empty road picking up a lot of speed that is clearly over the maximum speed limit so as not to waste time. The demon does not say anything at this time, but only feels a throbbing in the area of his temples, which afterwards gives way to pain in his head. The demon wouldn't be able to say when he first started giving Taehyung meaning and feeling something. He's scared at how quickly he was able to get him and his attention. No one had ever been able to attract Jeon in any way before. He was true to his past. The most important thing was the word 'was'. Something inside had given a crack through which this addiction to the past was leaking out. And for some reason, he had no desire to close that crack.***
The place where he was now assuming a sitting position was very cramped. And because of his tall stature his legs had to be cramped. He was terribly thirsty, his body aching mercilessly from the blows he had received. His knees and elbows sometimes tingle and burn from being dragged along the ground earlier. Taehyung is now sitting in some sort of cage that restricts his movements as much as possible, where he was shoved before he woke up. There are a couple more empty cages nearby and one with some man still showing no signs of life. Taehyung tries to look around so he knows where he can escape to and how to get free. It looks like some kind of barn or shed that usually houses animals in the form of cows, pigs, and so on. He sees nothing but some sort of shelf and stacks of straw spread out all over the place. "Hey, are you alive? The man who appears to be the missing man whispers to him, looking around nervously. "How do we get out of here before they turn us into mincemeat?" "I don't know, I haven't figured it out yet," Kim kind of had a plan, but he doesn't know how good it is. So he just stays silent, weighing the pros and cons while the man just sits quietly. Angel decides to take a risk, deciding to carry out his previously conceived actions, but no sooner does he make a sound than large bodies walk in, holding bats and shotguns. They immediately fall silent watching as one of them walks over to a shelf and checks something there then nods satisfactorily to the other. The man lowers his head, not wanting to meet the gaze of the fiends who take real pleasure in killing. But when someone approaches the cage, Taehyung looks up though he is afraid. The man swinging hard strikes the cage with his bat, startling the two inside them. They laugh and walk away leaving a silence that is accompanied by a resounding heartbeat. "Are they human?" Taehyung asks with a puff of breath, pointing to the door. "Are you all right? Of course they're human, who else would be?" "Can you close your eyes for a while?" Kim immediately catches a look of incomprehension, but as soon as he asks him again saying he'll update him on everything later he closes his eyes. After making sure the man has closed his eyes, and turning away for reassurance, the angel focuses on the shelf where the key to their cells should be. He asks this ability to trust him and help save two lives. Begs to give in. And thankfully, at the first second, the door of the shelf swings open, revealing a view of the key lying there. Taehyung is ready to jump with happiness and the fact that he's succeeded and has another ability in his piggy bank. Not all is lost. Shifting his full attention to the key, Kim lifts it into the air, making it float towards him through the air. As he flies towards it, he abruptly grabs the iron and hides it in his palms, feeling relieved and excited at the same time. "Open it," the man turned and looked at Taehyung with shocked eyes as he opened first his own cell and then the other man's, giving him his freedom. Angel kneads his stiff muscles and neck, squirming with discomfort. The stranger, who had been sitting there much longer, does the same. The sight of him was horrible: there were cuts everywhere, his whole body was covered in blood from neck to toe, his head was splotched and his nose was broken. "Now," Kim couldn't even begin as the man scrambled from his seat and ran for the exit, unresponsive to Angel's attempts to stop him. "What a jerk..." Taehyung is scrambling from side to side not sure what to do. Whether to run back to the cage or run after him. He looks towards the cages and then starts to run towards the exit, but as expected, the angel hears a tearing scream outside that belongs to the man. Kim immediately freezes in place as he continues to listen to the man yelling and calling for help. The lull sobers him up. Tortured. He flies back to his cage, trying to lock himself away before these thugs arrive so he doesn't end up just like the other one. From the excitement, the key falls to the floor several times each, failing to fully yield to Taehyung, making him terribly nervous and sweaty. As he closes his cage, he hears the approaching voices of men coming straight toward him. It's time to send the key back to the shelf, but he can't do it. Because of the fear, concentrating on the key lying on the floor doesn't work. The voices are getting closer and closer and his excitement is growing. Kim asks again by telekinesis to trust him even in fear. But the key does not rise even then. A tear of fear rolling down his cheek, Taehyung almost gives up, but makes one last attempt, gathering all his remaining strength together. And it succeeds. The key bullets into the open shelf, and the door slams open just as the men walk in. "No tricks, unless you want to end up like him." one of them checks the shelf again for the key and stands up. They leave the trembling angel alone.***
"Let's go inside this house," the woman stops the car near some house, getting out and slamming the door. "It's exactly the same as all the others. Is there any point?" Jungkook jumps out of the car, stretching his stiff legs. They've been driving nonstop for a long time, so his whole body is tired of being in a sitting position. "It's worth checking," she stops abruptly and turns to the demon, who staggered at this unexpected turn. "I'll go alone." "What?" Before Jeon knew it, one handcuff was firmly planted on his arm, and the other was hooked to the car's handle. The demon yanked his arm, but the metal began to cut unpleasantly into his skin leaving scratches. She only shrugs at all of his outgoing questions and turns around towards the stranger's house to inspect it herself. Jungkook just stares at her, angry and misunderstanding. A woman walks up to an old house, not far from the police car, and knocks, waiting for one of the owners to open the door for her. After a couple of minutes, a little girl of about ten years old, who looked unkempt: her hair looked like one continuous mess, her face was covered with dirt in some places, her pink dress had turned into a gray torn cloth. The woman unconsciously wrinkled her face a little when she saw what looked like dried blood on her hands. "Hey, baby girl. Maybe you've seen a tall guy with blond hair around here?" she starts her conversation politely, hoping she won't scare the child away. The girl tilts her head to the side and smiles looking somewhere behind her. The woman straightens up a little stunned by her strange facial expression and is about to turn to where the little girl is staring blankly. But before she can even turn her head, she feels a pain in the back of her head. She falls to the ground, noticing in the last seconds of consciousness the man with the shovel standing over her. And passes out. At this time, Jungkook tries to get out of the handcuffs before noticing another man's body being taken somewhere inside the house. He sees some kind of van pull up with two more men getting out. He crouches down and listens to the other men's conversations, hoping they don't notice him or he'll have to resort to extreme measures. "Oh, look, the folder brought bigger food," one of them laughs deeply, noticing a police car. "Let's go take a look." Jeon's heart was ready to jump out of his chest when he heard someone else's approaching footsteps which didn't bode well. The voices get louder and louder, but he still can't get out of the handcuffs, even though he's pulled so hard he could rip off the car's handle. He sees no other way out but to melt the iron. Directing all his strength and attention to his hands, they ignite sharply, giving off his favorite warmth all over them. The fire shimmers smoothly over his limbs greeting his master in this way. The men were already on their way, so Jungkook promptly began melting the handcuffs, exposing them to high heat - his ability handles it perfectly. And in a couple of seconds, his hands were freed from the restraining iron. The demon scurried off into the nearby forest, immediately falling into the grass to go unnoticed. "We're going to have fun tonight," one of the men said, throwing a bag with some stuff on his shoulder as he headed home after inspecting the car. Jeon waits until the men have disappeared into the house before he rushes off in the direction of some barn or shed hoping that none of the family will be there. He doesn't venture into the house, because he knows they have a full crew there now that they're talking about having fun. He stops in front of a junkyard of cars, ten or fifteen if not more, most likely the cars of previous victims. The demon runs his eyes over it and runs on to a rather large room that doesn't look particularly sturdy from the outside. Slowly stepping inside, he looks around, ready to attack. Hearing the door creak open, Taehyung slowly sticks his head out and watches as the demon looks from side to side. He exhales, finally feeling safe, relaxing for a second. "Jungkook!" he tries to say as loud as possible exactly in a whisper, so as not to make too much noise and draw attention to himself. Hearing the familiar voice, which initially seemed like a mind game to him, the demon flies straight to the cage, standing right in front of it and grasping someone Taehyung's cold hand. "You okay?" "I'm fine. It's the humans," he exhales the last of his words in an exhale of utter sadness and frustration. Human cruelty knows no bounds. And it's proven itself time and time again, unfortunately. What's driving them? "We have to get out of here." "I'm about to melt the lock," as soon as his hands are engulfed in flames, Taehyung abruptly covers them with his own, burning and hurting himself. Jungkook doesn't have time to say anything as Kim explains that the woman wakes up at the wrong time and they won't be able to explain the molten iron in a second, so they need to do it with a key. "Where is it?" "It should be in that shelf," the angel pointed his finger at her, his face twisted with the stinging pain of the burn. Jungkook looks at him regretfully, and then he flies over to the shelf and opens the door, but the key was gone, as if it had vanished. "They probably took it." "Be quiet, I'll go get the key," the demon watched the woman rise slowly holding the sore spot where the shovel had hit. "Be careful," Jungkook only nods, giving him a gentle smile, and walks out. He'll do his best.***
After sneaking in as inconspicuously as possible, Jungkook looks around the house for a key to open the cages. He carefully avoids the creaking floorboards so as not to draw attention to himself and join in the fun. There are no rooms on the second floor because it's one solid space filled with worn, dirty furniture with the same furnishings. On the shelves, he sees jaws, brains and other body parts displayed in jars, which gives him goosebumps. What drives people to such acts? Why does cruelty and inhumanity flow in their blood? "Shh, shh, shh," Jungkook puts his two hands forward and steps back slowly when he notices the same little girl who was on the doorstep of this house. "Daddy!" she yells quite loudly, which definitely doesn't go unnoticed. At her shout the whole horde of this family comes running in who smiles nastily as they inspect their prey from top to bottom. The demon cannot escape: he is kicked in the back of the knee, causing his leg to bend and fall to the floor, and one of the men kicks him in the body, preventing Jungkook from even getting up and defending himself, leaving shoe marks on his body. Jeon clenches his jaw at the sharp pain that goes all over his body, but doesn't make a sound, which pisses off this family who enjoy the screams and pleas of their victims. Daddy drives the knife through his arm causing it to start bleeding leaving a deep cut along it. His attempts to stand up and fight back failed and noticing his efforts they began to torture him harder, jumping on his body and leaving new cuts. Before Jungkook knew it, they had him on some kind of chair and tied a strong rope around him. The two guys are clutching his head to keep him still when their folder lights a piece of wood and brings it up to his face, wanting to burn the man's skin. But at this point the demon lets himself relax because fire isn't his enemy, so when the burning thing makes contact with his skin, he feels nothing but a slight tickle. "What the hell are you?" asks their father when there is nothing left on the skin after the supposed burn. "So, shall we begin our hunt?" asks some guy in a cap, holding a toothpick in his teeth. "You're our game." Jungkook looks at them in disgust realizing that these bastards are stealing people forcing them to play the role of the game they're hunting. Beating them up, cutting them up, and enjoying the views as they put the organ jars on the shelves. It's disgusting. "I guess you came here for your friends," Daddy throws aside the practical burnt wood and walks over to Jungkook, standing right in front of him. "Choose who we're going to hunt first out of your buddies. Guy or woman." The demon looks away and considers what to do. Two lives are at risk, and now he has to make a difficult decision. A woman from the police will not be able to really protect herself, she will not be able to escape from these thugs. In addition, on the way here, he found out that her name was Emma, which means that this is the person they have to save. "A guy," Jungkook says on an exhale, hoping that Taehyung will be able to protect himself, because his strength is much bigger and scarier. Dad steps away somewhere, on his return he finds himself with shotgun in hand, standing in front of the demon. He holds the shotgun out to one of his sons and asks: "Son, you can just kill two of them at once, you don't have to hunt," he nods his head and walks away with a satisfied face. Chon tries to get out of the tightly tied ropes but all to no avail only to piss off those present even more. For which, in fact, he receives a resounding slap. "Just try to touch them," the demon twitches harder, still holding out hope, but again nothing comes out.***
A guy with a shotgun in his hands walks into a shed where the terrified victims are sitting, waiting for the next outcome. He slowly, paying attention to each step, steps toward them. Son stands between the two cages and turns his head to one or the other choosing which one to start with. With a smile on his face, he walks over to Taehyung's cage and unlocks the doors with the spare key each of the assassins has and roughly grabs his arm pulling him out and tossing him to the floor. Kim tries to pull himself up, but is kicked causing him to fall again. The guy loads his weapon and points it at the angel, satisfied with his reaction. Just in time for the head to be turned into solid meat. He almost pulls the trigger, ready to fire, when the woman's ear-piercing scream hits him, causing him to stagger for a second and cover his ears. Taehyung seizes the moment and knocks the man down slamming his own foot into the other man's bringing him to his shoulder blades. Angel punches him in the nose, jaw and anywhere else in general, creating a bloody mess on his face. The guy's head spins and he can't even focus his eyes, also agonizing from the blood that gets into his pupils. Kim shoves him into his previous cage on his own, before taking the key to lock it. Once the cage is securely locked, he opens the one where the woman is sitting. "Thank you so much. You saved my life," Taehyung shakes her hand as soon as she's able to stand straight. "It's my responsibility," she hisses in pain and kneads her knees and arms, getting rid of the lingering pain. Kim puts up his index finger, asking for silence for a while, because he thought he heard someone coming this way. And so it turns out to be when he hears someone else's worried voices. Dad and second son run into the barn, looking around and shouting out the name of the one who was sent here. They go into a terrible rage when they see a bloody guy in one of the cages. Taehyung and the woman hide behind one of the straw stacks at this time, hoping it will serve as cover until they leave. They start wandering around the barn, having the desire to find and finish them off as soon as possible. Taehyung tries to keep them in sight so as not to come face to face with the death that awaits them. They slowly make their way around the straw stack and run up to another, trying to do so as quietly as possible to continue to go unnoticed. The straw they are currently hiding behind is close to the exit, so the solution popped into their heads on its own. Sneaking past one man who is turned the other way, they make their way to the exit and open the wide door, creaking open. A man turns around at the creak and starts running after them, shouting some swear words. As he runs, he asks the woman to hide somewhere while he distracts them, but she flatly refuses. From around the corner, the second son comes running out with a gun that had gone somewhere while they were still in the barn. The two of them freeze in place, raising two hands in the air. The son loads the shotgun and pulls the trigger, hitting the pursuing dad right in the back, who collapses from falling into his shoulder screaming and crying in tearing pain. Taehyung ducked just in time, so it wasn't him who got the bullets, but the man who was running after him. "Dad!" the boy dropped the shotgun in shock, looking at the bleeding man. Kim picks up the shotgun and with the butt of it knocks out the other son, who, in shock, has lost the will to live. "I'll look after the wounded man. Go find your man," she picks up the heavy daddy by his feet to carry him to the same barn and hide him. Taehyung snaps out of his seat and runs towards the house, feeling all his organs burning inside, but he doesn't have time to complain because somewhere out there sits Jungkook. Running inside, he immediately goes up to the second floor from where he hears a child's laughter that belongs to a girl. He sees the girl diligently drawing a flower on his leg with a small knife, and Jeon throws his head back and endures all her drawings. Aggression and rage took control of Kim as soon as he saw the demon's condition. The little girl, engrossed in her drawing, didn't notice the victim that was to be their new collection on the shelves walk in. He runs up to her and pushes her off hard, laying her head against the floor, watching her grab her head with her hands. Taehyung is driven by anger: he breathes deeply and frequently, glancing back and forth at Jungkook and her, clenching his hands into fists, digging his nails into her skin. Sweat rolls down his temples and neck, and there's a ringing in his ears that even Jungkook's shouting doesn't interrupt. His hands begin to glow with a white light, causing the demon to clamor, forming a ball that throws sparks in different directions. He takes slow steps towards the girl, who was ready to get up and jump on him with a knife, but when she saw Taehyung walking towards her with something glowing and sparkling, she immediately staggered away. Jungkook tries to shout to him, but nothing comes out. While the little girl looks fearfully at Taehyung, the demon takes the opportunity and burns the ropes to free himself and approach the angel, around which the wind rises. But he doesn't make it when he sees Taehyung swing around and throw a glowing ball of light, making everything around him shake. Jeon covers his head and squats down, not believing Kim was able to kill a child. He hears something fall, and he hears it shatter. And he hears the angel crying, looking at the shrunken girl, shifting his gaze to the hole in the wall. His shoulders shake and he falls to his knees, unable to hold himself up. Demon immediately runs up to him and hides him in his arms, feeling him kick himself and cry hysterically. Jungkook strokes his back, soothing him, but the angel cries even harder, screaming into his shoulder. "I almost killed a child. For you," Kim wiped away tears and snot with trembling hands, looking straight at the demon, seeing an acceptance he hadn't expected to see. "It's okay," Jeon kisses him right on his sweaty temple, feeling the brackish taste on his lips. The girl was still lying on the floor, sobbing quietly.***
"Good work, guys," she shakes their hands, thanking them for their help. "There's a junkyard with cars nearby, see if you can identify the ones that are missing," Jungkook says, holding a subdued Taehyung by the shoulder. "Cars? Did you happen to see a black BMW there?" The demon raises his eyes upward, trying to remember if he saw that car as he runs his eyes over them. Jungkook nods, confirming Emma's guess. "That's my husband's car." She smiles sadly and looks towards the junkyard having finally accepted her husband's death for herself, realizing that she will not make any more attempts to find him, and afterwards bids them farewell, wishing them good luck. Angel and Demon are given a stranger's police car, which they use to get back to the hotel so they don't have to walk so much. As they approach the car, they hear a loud gunshot, immediately turning around at the sound, and then they see a woman coming out of the barn with a shotgun in her hands, who had gone in there about five minutes ago. And there lay the wounded daddy she'd been looking after. She got her revenge. "Taehyung, this woman's name is Emma. You've done your job."***
It was decided not to go to the hotel to sleep, but to go to the sea, which has been calling since their arrival in Gangneung. So they undress now and stay only in their underwear so that they can take it off and put on dry clothes later. Stepping into the water, only Jungkook is squirming from its coolness. Taehyung calmly walks in as if the water were steamed milk. The events of the recent hours have caused him considerable stress, which is consuming him more and more. The demon comes up behind him, and then appears in front of him and throws him onto his shoulder, slapping his ass. Angel, just as Jeon wanted, begins to resent it and jerk around, trying to get out before the water fully embraces him. But the demon holds him tight, falling into the water with him, touching the bottom with his hand and Taehyung's back. The sea climbs right up his nose and lungs, tickling everything inside, making Kim cough when he manages to get out of the water column. "Jerk," Angel slicks his hair back to keep the drops out of his eyes. He hears Jungkook laughing with that, starting to splash. Kim takes up the fight and in a couple of seconds is already creating waves and splashes with her hands to get back at the demon as much as possible. They splash and squirt like little children with water that gets into every exposed part of their bodies: eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Jeon meets injustice when Taehyung uses his mind to lift a wave that's quite high compared to his and throws it over the demon, pulling him under the water. Kim is laughing. But when Jungkook does not swim out, he becomes already afraid, fearing that the wave could carry him somewhere or hit the bottom. He looks around worriedly, feeling something painfully squeezing inside. Taehyung calls his name, but nothing happens. The demon does not appear. He walks from side to side, raking the water with his hands, tears are rolling down his face. The ground literally goes out from under his feet when Jungkook grabs him under the ass, forcing him to wrap his legs around his waist. "You're such an idiot," Taehyung tried to get off of the demon, but the demon just held him tighter, laughing. There's silence all around. The moon brightly illuminates the entire space, never failing to illuminate anyone. The sea has finally managed to get them and now tickles them with its waves, sometimes flirting and pushing them quite hard. The moonlight falls on Jungkook's face, who all the while kept his eyes on Taehyung, who did nothing but look around, occasionally glancing at the demon as well. The waves were crashing against the calm shore, caressing it, the wind only occasionally blowing over their wet bodies, giving them goosebumps. "Jungkook, you know," Kim looks at the moon, squinting comically at its brightness. "Life is one and you need to take everything from it." Those were the last words before Taehyung kissed the man's lips on his own, warming them with his own. The tantalizing lips responded to him with the same intensity, making his heart race. There was no one else in the world right now except for the passionately kissing Jungkook and Taehyung standing waist-deep in the water, illuminated by the white light the moon had willingly lent them. The confident response to the kiss from Jeon made him go crazy, making him breathe harder. His tongue unceremoniously penetrated the angel's mouth, deepening their connection. Neither of them noticed the change in the mood of nature: the wind was pushing them against each other in strong gusts, the waves were getting bigger and bigger, and the demon was holding Taehyung, who was shivering from the cold or from his senses, closer to him so he wouldn't fall. Let the world wait. The angel pulls away from the demon, stopping the kiss and touching his nose to it. After a couple of seconds, Jungkook lowers him back into the water and wraps him in his arms, hoping that he will find comfort in him. Neither one nor the other can think about the situation soberly now. And yet, you need to take everything from life.
