Arc Four. Bloody Binding in Konoha. Chapter 10. Evil Albino.

For about two hours, Mito and I adjusted the seal. It would have been much quicker and easier, but the fox's requirements were quite clear. No one had ever made a seal like this before, so it took an hour to finalise the overall picture of the seal, as well as to complete the required fuin characters that weakened the seal so that the fox could leave the seal. Uzumaki had used up all her chakra by the end, so she passed out from chakra exhaustion. I finished everything myself and was about to leave the inner world to Ashina's daughter, but the biju's voice stopped me.       - Kurama. - The fox suddenly spoke, watching my reaction. It was like his chakra was trying to scan my entire body. It was unpleasant.       - What? - I asked in confusion, because I didn't know the word the nine-tailed man had used.       - My name is Kurama, you blue-haired mop! - The overgrown fox growled at me unrestrainedly.       - Oh, so the great and terrible Kyuubi Noyoku has deigned to introduce himself. So what prompted you, sir, to make such a concession? - I answered Kurama in a mocking manner, seeing the excitement in his eyes.       - I see no lie in your words. You are pure in nature. You have an anomaly within you. I don't know what it is, but you interest me. - Tails answered me in a serious voice, though I could see in his eyes that he meant it in a slightly different way.       - So that's what your chakra is capable of. Interesting. And what else is your chakra capable of, Kurama? - I said more calmly, realising that jokes were jokes, but the fox was serious.       - Who's he calling an anomaly?! -A voice in my head shrieked with anger and resentment in its voice. - Call me back to the real world! I'll kick that flea rug in the face! - Morgana added with an overwhelming desire to teach the insolent man a lesson.       - None of your human business, you blue-haired mop! - The biju said to me in a mocking manner, grinning like a wild beast, though it was really just a smile.       - Alright, Kurama, don't get bored then. I've got to get going. Too much shit to sort out in the world. - Quietly bade him farewell, about to leave Mito's subconscious. I wasn't really in any hurry, but Morgana was already in a hurry. For the first time since we'd known each other, she wanted to teach someone a lesson so badly.       - I don't understand you... why you want to save the world so badly, - I heard the fox mutter one last time before I appeared in the real world.       I was truly surprised, for without even leaving the room, I felt many large springs near the house. Tobirama's chakra was among them. Apparently the seal I'd broken on the door handles was also holding back the chakra bursting out of Mito. Now I would have to spend time explaining to Senju everything that had happened. I slowly made my way down to the ground floor, before stepping outside. Through the window, I had already noticed that the house was cordoned off by ninjas who were also holding a barrier. I wondered what was going on. I wondered if the Hokage was so scared of Kyou's chakra... Kurama... It was unusual to call the great and terrible Kyuubi that. He didn't even resent me for restraining him back then... six years ago. Maybe he's forgotten. Nah, I don't think so. According to Isobu, nine-tails is the most vindictive biju. For some little joke when he was a kid, he still trolls one of his brothers by ripping off his only tail whenever he sees him.       - Michiko, I only let you go two hours ago! What have you gotten yourself into already?! - came the painfully familiar voice of an albino. There was so much irritation and... resentment in the notes of that voice? It made me cringe. The most calm and poised man in the village was now exuding such murderous intent that all of his best ninjas nearby took a few steps away. Obviously, they had never seen their superior in such a state before. I was about to say something, but Senju was ahead of me, moving towards me with his legendary technique, and then the environment changed. We were in some open space. I spotted a village in the distance, which, judging by its size, was about five kilometres away. While I was nervously thinking about what had happened, Tobirama threw his fist into my jaw. It was painful, for in addition to the powerful blow, I found my back on the rock I had walked a metre into.       - Is your jaw made of iron? - Senju asked rhetorically, rubbing his knuckles after the blow.       - Tobirama san, that hurts... why are you doing this to me? - I asked with resentment in my voice, rubbing my knuckles. I tried to show that I was still a child in pain.       - Stop playing with me! You have a minute to explain what happened to me, or else... - the hokage growled, not even finishing his threat, just pulling out his tanto. So much for playing around...       - You should be thanking me. I subdued the nine-tailed that was rampaging in Mito. - I stated, trying to avoid the details.       - Then why couldn't I feel the demon fox's chakra before? - Coldly said the village head, who clearly did not rule out the possibility that I was an enemy to him.       - Tobirama san, let you put down your weapons and we'll just talk. - I tried to calm down the nervous albino who was too smart to be dismissed.       - Talk. - he said coldly, remaining in his fighting stance.       - After visiting you, I decided to pay Mito a visit. She hadn't come to me all this time, so I decided to talk to her. Not finding her in my house, I went to the Senju clan. As I approached the house of the head of the Senju clan, I knocked and the door was opened to me by Takeshi. During the verbal altercation, I realised he wasn't going to let me in, so I threatened him a little. - I started my story.       - Scared the hell out of him. I know that. - Senju said in a cold tone, putting the tanto back in its sheath.       - I found Mito on the first floor. There was a nice immobilisation seal on the front door. I took it off, however, as it later turned out, that seal was also severely dampening Kyubey and Mito's chakra. I found Uzumaki in a drowsy state, but my gut (I couldn't tell him I had a sorceress living inside me) was telling me that it wasn't that simple. Listening to my senses, I realised that Mito's chakra was in an active state. Touching her forehead, I entered her inner world, where Uzumaki was engaged in an unequal battle with a nine-tailed man. She would have lost if I hadn't approached in time. In the end, we managed to defeat the demon as well as strengthen the seal. - I finished my recounting of recent events. You know, given the nature of my interlocutor, I can say with certainty that he will not appreciate my co-operation with Kurama. He likes logic too much. He's too sceptical about everything. So I'm willing to bet my right hand that he'll think I'm crazy or won't believe me at all.       - Hmm... that's what it means, - Tobirama said thoughtfully, watching my every move as I spoke. He was a good psychologist, so he could tell quite accurately when he was being lied to and when he wasn't. - Stay here, and I'll check with Mito. - He added after a moment of silence, about to leave for Konoha.       - Tobirama san, she's chakroic, so she won't be able to give you answers to questions or confirm my words at all. - I spoke, stopping the teleportation of the second hokage.       - What do you suggest I do? I can't confirm or deny what you say. Takeshi told me about you coming to summon a demon. I trust you, of course, but you must realise that if you deceived me, the consequences would be irreversible. - said the albino with seriousness in his voice.       - Well, there are two options. The first is that you, having trusted me, let me go, putting a surveillance team on me. I begin my investigation, travelling to the Uchiha clan and then to you, closer to evening. The second option is more drastic. You simply lock me in a cage until Mito comes round to confirm my words. - I express my point of view, remaining absolutely calm outwardly, but inside I had mush, because the second option I did not sympathise with at all.       - So you wouldn't mind sitting behind bars for a day or two? - Tobirama said with a sly grin.       - No, - I said, as if nothing had happened.       - I'll trust you, but it won't be the way you think. - The second hokage said after a moment's thought. He weighed the pros and cons of his decision, choosing the one with the least risk. You might be thinking, what's the risk of locking me in a cell? It's very obvious. Trust is something that is almost impossible to obtain. As long as there is a man like me between the two great ninja villages, the alliance will exist. Yes, there are still many small arrangements that strengthen the relationship of the Mist and Leaf alliance, but they only play a formal role. Tobirama was well aware that if I wanted to, I could take Mito and leave the Fire Nation, then break the alliance with Konoha. This would lead the Fire Nation to a real collapse in the upcoming war. Senju understood this perfectly well, so he made the right decision.       - What do you mean? - I asked coldly, inwardly pleased with the albino's decision.       - I will put my men on you, but I will also put a teleportation seal on you so that I can move to you if necessary. - Tobirama made a new demand. Though no... it wasn't a demand... it was a substantial amendment to minimise the risks of me leaving the village.       - Alright, I agree. - I answered him, forcing myself to agree to the terms. There wasn't much of a choice. Choosing the lesser of evils was all I could do now.       - If you remove the seal, it will mean betrayal. You know the consequences. - Senju said, grinning again at my surprised face. How did he know I could erase his seal? I'm going to have to play by his rules, or it's going to get worse.
