Arc Four. Bloody Binding in Konoha. Chapter 11. The investigation is well underway.

The Uchiha clan quarter greeted me with a cold and gloomy atmosphere. It didn't bother me too much, so I calmly walked towards the head of the red-eyed clan. I wasn't familiar with him yet, and what could I say... I didn't know what kind of person had taken over the Uchiha Clan after Madara. The members of the Cursed Eye Clan looked at me with a kind of envy and... hatred? A very strange set of emotions. Well, they're Uchiha... they're a complicated people by nature. I wasn't even stopped by the guards at the entrance to the neighbourhood, which was very suspicious. Perhaps Tobirama had already made sure to warn the head of the great founding clan of Konoha that I was coming. I knew about the location of the clan head's estate from Izuna's letters... eh, I wish you were alive... I'll get to the truth... do you hear me mate!? I'll get to the bottom of it. I give you my word. In about five minutes I was standing in front of a big mansion with a boy waiting for me... even a teenager of about fourteen, which was surprising. He was wearing the official black and blue kimano worn by the head of the Uchiha clan. He had fair skin with short, black, dishevelled hair that fell below his forehead, framing his face. How did this boy become the head of the clan? It would be a mystery to me if I couldn't feel his chakra point. Oh yeah, his chakra hotspot was impressive even for a strong member of the Uchiha clan. I would hardly have to doubt his eyes, however did he awaken the last form? I honestly doubt it.       - Hello, Michiko san. - The guy greeted me formally. - My name is Kagami Uchiha, and it is an honour to meet a man whose power has been recognised by the Shinobi God. - He added, showing respect for me while smiling at me. Uchiha don't smile so often... Only one Uchiha could do it so often and for no reason....       - Hello, Kagami san. Apparently you know why I came to see you? - I spoke politely enough to set up a productive dialogue.       - Yes, I know perfectly well. Come with me. - The Uchiha said calmly enough, walking into his house. I followed him. The house was typical enough. A little gloomy, but typical of the Uchiha clan. There was nothing special about it. There were no luxurious furniture or paintings either. It was strange enough. My assumption was increasingly becoming not an assumption at all. We went up to the first floor, which had a couple of bedrooms and a business office, equipped to the standards of an Uchiha clan head. A desk, a few comfortable chairs, a filing cabinet, and a portrait of the previous head of the Uchiha clan.       - I can't give you Izuna Uchiha's body. - Kagami got straight to the point as we sat down in the chairs opposite each other. He politely poured tea into my mug.       - Why? - I asked, trying to keep my composure.       - We buried him, and we had a farewell burial ritual. I hope you can understand why I will not allow you to disturb the sleep of the dead Izuna. It would be disrespectful to the fallen man. - The Uchiha spoke in a calm enough voice, withstanding the pressure of my chakra. I didn't really want to pressure the guy, however I didn't have much time for all this officiousness, so I showed him my annoyance in my own way, tacitly asking him to hurry up. Kagami was apparently not stupid and appreciated my gesture to the fullest.       - Then I'll ask you to give me Izuna's medical records. - I spoke rather demandingly, increasing the pressure of my chakra. The Uchiha fidgeted in his seat at this, but accepted such an invisible blow proudly enough, Uchiho-style.       - A copy of the medical records was provided by the Hokage. I think it would be much more convenient and quicker for you to arrange it with him, since they are attached to the investigation file. Will you please stop pushing chakra? I understand that you wish to show your superiority, however, it is not required. I am well aware of your strength and capabilities. I can't compete with you. But my clan is a very nervous people, so if you continue, they may become alarmed and even call the Hokage, forgetting their pride. - The head of the Uchiha clan clarified the situation. I immediately removed the pressure, realising my blunder. It was stupid to believe him, but I didn't want to check, because pissing off an albino for the second time in half a day was a quick way to start digging my own grave. Oh, and he'd show up here immediately... instantly with his technique. Oh, okay.       - Then I have one more favour to ask of you. - I said in a calm voice.       - I'm all ears. - Kagami said, smiling at me, but I noticed that there was a trace of panic in his eyes. I see... Tobirama had even warned me of the reason for my visit, that's why the young clan leader held himself so confidently. His entire speech was a billet. He was preparing to talk to me in that vein, so he wasn't nervous, however, when I wanted to ask him something that he couldn't even guess, he tensed up. He's afraid of me. That's very good.       - May I take your blood for testing? - I asked such a simple but strange question, because I wasn't a medic.       - What? Why? - The Uchiha quickly interjected. His eyes raced around the room. He wasn't prepared for this.       - You don't look like an Uchiha anymore. I want to check how much you belong to this clan. How old are you? - I clarified the reason and also asked another question, which confused the young head of the red-eyed clan.       - Fourteen. I grew up outside the clan. I was raised by one of the elders of my clan. - Kagami said, understanding the logic behind my questions. He even smiled at me after his words. Honestly, his words only confirmed my hunch. How old was Izuna when he died? I'll have to look at the document later. I gave my companion a hard stare that made him twist round again. - All right, take blood. - The Uchiha agreed to my request, taking a breath and preparing himself for one of the most unpleasant events of his life. I could tell from his crouched face that he didn't like this procedure. A syringe appeared in my hand a moment later, and it was stuck into Kagami's arm so quickly that he didn't even have time to react before it was over.       - Thank you for the welcome, Kagami-sama. I have to go now. Goodbye. - I said with a satisfied smile on my face as I left the office. The Uchiha didn't even have time to react before I left his office.       I walked into some diner, sitting down at a vacant table. A girl came up to me and took my order. In fact, I was really hungry, so I decided to combine pleasant with useful. I started to study the documents.       Well, well... Izuna Uchiha, 30 years old, member of the Uchiha clan, younger brother of Madara Uchiha, son of Tajima Uchiha. Sharingan wielder... not interesting, but here's the medical records. Brain activity is normal, chakra channels in the eyes are under-expanded. The use of the sharingan puts serious strain on the body. Detected a dangerous heart disease - Ischaemic disease (certificate attached). He refused treatment. What? Refused treatment... why? What were you thinking, Izuna? What the hell did you do?! Where's the damn certificate?!       Synopsis: Atherosclerotic heart diseases are widespread. The list and their treatment are determined depending on the symptomatology. So, ischaemic heart disease is an extremely dangerous condition. A characteristic sign is a violation of blood flow in the large vessels of the body, including the coronary arteries that supply blood to the myocardium. Coronary artery disease accounts for 90% of all heart diseases. Contribute to the formation of such a problem genetic predisposition, advanced age of the patient, overweight, diabetes, taking certain medications, bad habits and improper lifestyle. This disease is dangerous with the development of such pathological conditions that can lead to a fatal outcome:

Heart failure.

Arrhythmia.

Angina pectoris.

Myocardial infarction - necrosis of the area of the inner membrane of the heart muscle.

Cardiac arrest.

What the fuck?! How could he get a disease like that? He wasn't overweight, was he? Don't tell me that Susano puts so much strain on his body that his heart is so damaged? This is a joke... Izuna, Izuna, why didn't you tell me?! I have to calm down.       I went on eating and thinking about it. I stayed like that for a long time and would have stayed longer if I hadn't heard thunder behind me.       - I've been waiting for you. - Tobirama said in a calm voice, sitting down opposite me.       - Let's go, Tobirama. - I answered him in an indifferent tone. We had to see this through to the end. In complete silence, we travelled towards Senju's house, however, once we entered, we did not go to some basement or hidden room. Noettttt, the albino wasn't so simple. He, after touching me, transported us to some kind of cave. - Why were we going to your house then? - I asked him in confusion.       - This place is supposed to be a secret from everyone. And, given our enemy's unique powers of stealth, we need to be careful. The enemy could be watching us without us even knowing it. - Tobirama said coldly, taking a few steps forward. He folded a few seals, and then the Fuin symbols on the walls of the room lit up. The next moment, the cave shuddered with an unpleasant, grinding sound. That was the sound of the stone that had begun to move away. I raised an eyebrow in surprise, noticing how many explosive seals were on the wall. There were enough of them to destroy an entire mountain. I thought I was being paranoid... We entered a large laboratory... yes, a laboratory, because there were so many different instruments and test tubes that it looked like a place for researching something forbidden. The Hokage walked over to a coffin that stood somewhere on the edge, and then opened it, showing me Madara's corpse, which hadn't deteriorated one bit.       - Now, what did you want to see? - Tobirama clarified, stepping away from the coffin. I didn't answer, only frowning more. Something wasn't right. It was like there was both a body and not. I touched the body lightly. It was tangible. Not an illusion, however, with the help of the Snake Sage mode, I could feel the dead Shinobi God's body still had chakra in it very well. It felt rather faint, but it was felt nonetheless. My gut told me of some sort of trick, so I struck the corpse with my hand almost without thinking. I knew from the chakra in the room that the albino was about to explode with indignation, but what happened next tempered his fervour....
