Arc Four. Bloody Binding in Konoha. Chapter 9. Helping Mito.

Settings
      - Who the hell are you? - The guy who opened the door asked me in an unfriendly tone. I could already guess the identity of the person standing in front of me. He looked to be about sixteen, with brown hair that reached to his waist. His face was handsome. His skin was lightly tanned and his eyes had a brown tint to them. The guy's body was pumped up. It was obvious that he was constantly working out. From the volume of chakra, one could confidently say that the unknown man belonged to some famous clan.       - You must be Takeshi Senju. I'm an old friend of Mito's, Michiko Yuki. May I come in? -I formally introduced myself to Hashirama's son. It was obvious to the naked eye that this man was accustomed to a formal tone.       - Michiko Yuki... hmmm... - my interlocutor said with thoughtfulness in his voice. - Yes, I think Mito mentioned you, but I can't let you into our house. I'm sorry, but we're in mourning for the dead. --said the boy with a fake sadness in his voice. I didn't sympathise with his tone and manner of speech. He was trying to get rid of me, but I had to see Mito.       - You know, Takeshi san, I can come in without your permission. It's a convention for me. - I said to his face with an undisguised threat in my voice. The guy across from me cringed. You realise I'm not to be trifled with? Apparently so.       - I'd consider this a targeted attack on the head of the Senju clan. - he warned, stepping out onto the porch and closing the door behind him.       - Boy. - I growled, pinning him against the door he'd just closed. With my right hand I took him by the throat, lifting him slightly off the ground. With my left hand, I intercepted a kunai strike from the boy, who apparently thought he could catch me off guard. I wanted to talk nicely with this man, but his arrogance made me angry. - You don't realise that your name doesn't matter now... Times are such that only power matters... nothing else matters... only power matters, do you hear me? - I hissed in his ear like a predator who had found his prey. - I could kill you right here, right now. I respected your father, but that doesn't mean I'll respect you. Your position is just a tick for ordinary ninjas, however, you should have realised that I am far from ordinary by now. I could snap your neck right now, killing you on the spot, but this time I will take pity on you. Consider your father saved you for the last time. He won't be of any more help to you in dealing with me. - I finished speaking to the boy, tossing him aside. Takeshi had so much fear in his eyes, as if he had seen the devil himself in the flesh. I don't care... people like that only understand brute force. Words have long since become empty words to them. I can afford to behave like that now. Tobirama will understand me...I hope he does.... I walked through the door and headed straight to the first floor. It was there that I could feel Uzumaki's chakra. In front of the door to Mito's room, I stopped. Something wasn't right. My intuition was telling me to be careful. I noticed a small smudge on the round knob that just had to be cranked to enter the room in a civilised manner. At first glance it was a smudge of ink, however my perception detected traces of chakra on that smudge. I took a closer look after which I was surprised. That small black spot was actually an intricate fuin that I recognised at a glance. It was an immobilisation seal of the highest grade. Mito's perfect work. There was nothing more to add, but I was no stranger to it either. After a minute of folding the seals, I took the seal off the door, and then took hold of the door handle with more confidence, turning it clockwise to open the door. The next moment I was standing in the Viceroy's most ordinary room. A large bed, wide windows, luxurious curtains decorating the whole room. Mito was lying on the bed, wrapped in two layers of blankets. She didn't react to my appearance, which was unlike her. In two steps I was beside her, looking at her heavy breathing. Uzumaki's chakra seemed to be surging. It was as if the girl was using some kind of jutsu while being in a dormant state...       - She is in her subconscious. You could try to get into her inner world. - Morgana suddenly spoke in a rather animated voice.       - What could she be doing in her subconscious? - I asked a logical question to myself. There was an uneasy feeling inside.       - She's fighting in there. It's hard to tell with whom. But that chakra... it's so wild... raging... like a natural disaster... - my schizophrenia shared its impressions.       - Shit... - I growled, already realising who Mito was fighting with. - How do I get into her world? Morgana! - Biting my lips, I turned to my body mate.       - Touch her head. I'll take it from here. -reading my thoughts, the blue-haired sorceress commanded. I obeyed without question. After touching Mito's forehead with my right hand, I was pulled into her subconscious like a whirlpool. I found myself in a spacious room. I could not see the ceiling, nor could I see the limits of the walls, but the place was semi-dark. Next to me, I found Uzumaki with blood already flowing from her lips in two streams. There were chains sticking out of her back, which was strange to a stranger, and I had already realised that Mito was using chains that represented the improved genome of the Uzumaki clan. Moreover, these chains could only awaken in girls of the red-haired clan. At least that's what I had heard during my training in Uzushio. They themselves consisted of chakra and life force. From Ashina's words, he had yet to see anything that could destroy them. These chains were meant to seal the biju. Since the red-haired one is using them, there's no point in even doubting the strength of the enemy. It was definitely a tailed one, and there was only one demon in Konoha....       After tracing the spread of chains, of which there were eighteen, I found a huge overgrown fox snarling and cackling. Mito hadn't paid any attention to me when I appeared in this place, so I decided to make my presence known. Approaching her from the side, I placed a hand on her shoulder. Uzumaki flinched, attempting to strike at the unknown with her arm from the turn around. I intercepted her hand while still on the approach to my face.       - Is this how you greet backup? - With a raised eyebrow, I asked in a sarcastic tone.       - Mi? What are you doing here... - Mito squeaked in surprise, losing all concentration, but I interrupted her.       - It's all for later. First we need to talk to the fox. - I said in a calm tone, shifting my gaze to Kyubey, who was looking at me as if I were the devil.       - Who are you calling a fox, human?! - he growled loudly, looking at me with a fierce hatred.       - Well, well. - I wagged my finger at him. Monster, being in amazement from my actions, even stopped breaking out of the chains Uzumaki. - What do you want fox? - I asked in a friendly enough tone. Here already Mito had fallen into the astral from my behaviour.       - Do you know who I am? I am the great and terrible Kyuubi Noeku, the strongest of the biju. - spoke in his loud bass, tailed.       - Come on, you cute and fluffy little fox. Yes, you are proud and handsome, but Kyubey is not your name. I know that from your mate. - I said, smiling at him. Biju was taken aback by this appearance for a few seconds, causing an awkward pause in the dialogue. You may be thinking, why am I being so polite to the true scourge of the fire country? It's very simple. The three-tailed one turned out to be a very interesting interlocutor. I would tell him my life story, and in return he would share with me snippets of his past. Most of these passages were related to his biju brothers, whom he hadn't seen in a long time. Besides, I wasn't sure if I could overpower the strongest tailed man at the moment. My body was still stinging in places from the pain and wounds I'd received. Why would I want to fight an immortal chakra blob when I could negotiate with him?       - You smell like coral. Are you familiar with the sleepy overgrown turtle? - Nine-tailed asked with some interest. There was no snarl in his voice now, which showed his mood.       - Yes, Isobu has told me a lot about you. - I answered him, letting him know the extent of the giant tortoise's trust in me.       - He told you his name. Isobu has never been a fool. If this beast removes its chains, then I'm even willing to listen to you- calmly said almost all of Kyubey's words, but the word "beast" he growled.       - Mito?! - I turned to Uzumaki, standing in a stupor behind me.       - Huh? - she said, trying to come to her senses. It was obvious that it was the first time she saw a dialogue between a human and a tailed. It was something new and mysterious to her.       - Take off your chains. - I asked in a gentle voice, trying to remain calm.       - But... - she wanted to say something, but I interrupted her.       - Trust me. Everything will be all right. - I said, trying to show confidence in my actions. Mito just nodded, letting Kyubey go. Uzumaki's chains were quickly absorbed into her back without even damaging her clothes.       - What do you want? - Turning to the big fox, I say.       - You yourself know what any tailed one wants... freedom. - Kyubey says with a calmness in his voice.       - Fox, I think you should realise that you can't get freedom in the real world. - I began to look for a way to approach the fox, but the latter interrupted me.       - Then what do you have to offer, human? - Kyubey growled with anger in his voice. The tails behind him began to move in a new rhythm. He was ready to attack.       - I can adjust the seal so that you can see the world through Mito's eyes, and communicate with her if you wish. - I made him a pretty good offer.       - It's not enough. I want to get out into the real world, breathe fresh air, and stomp on fresh grass with my paws. - began to bargain, clearly intent on getting the best for himself.       - I can arrange it. - Mito suddenly spoke up. - If you don't try to get out of me, I can weaken the seal so that you can get out of the seal, but you won't be able to appear in the real world in your true form. - She clarified, looking boldly into the nine-tailed's elongated pupils, which were filled with scarlet colour.       - Okay, I agree. - But Yoku agreed to the terms after a few minutes of thought.
