"There will be all sorts of things... pleasant and not so much. So don't worry about hurting my feelings. Scream and threaten as much as you like," Richard said, completely unbothered by the impending wave of unflattering words likely headed his way due to his unauthorized manipulation of her body. He walked over to the chair and carelessly tossed the first piece of clothing over its back. "I don't have any."

Total darkness reigns outside the window. The rain washes away the remnants of the day and any semblance of a good mood. Two partners who absolutely despise each other are tasked with patrolling the night streets of Detroit, trying to make it to morning without tearing each other apart.

Kira Wainwright is a former officer of the Detroit Police Department. After dedicating several years to the service, she leaves her position of her own volition, leaving her colleagues completely in the dark regarding the reasons for her departure. Yet, a single chance encounter forces her to question her decision.

Connor sensed her hesitation and, disregarding yet another error message, voiced his thoughts. “If it would make you feel better, I could lie down with you.” Hannah’s lips spread into a wide smile. *So much for innocence.* “Easy there, cowboy,” she chuckled, feeling her heart beat just a little faster. “We’re not that close yet.” Connor opened his mouth to respond, but Stone lightly tapped his shoulder, silencing him.

I know the fandom well and even played the game. But this fanfiction is not a canon, but only a thorn (oh, it's a pity😞)
