A new novel is spreading through the city at a Harry Potter sales rate. Absolutely every mobian has become interested in him, except for Tails, who recently came out of a month long stay at home, due to his health with blackouts in his memory.

I throw away my pen and lean back in my chair. Some kind of nonsense creeps into my head. I sigh and begin to massage my eyes, lightly pressing on the eyelid. Brilliant fireworks scatter in the darkness, bright to the point of pain and clouding of reason. Finally, after a couple of minutes, I pull myself together, sigh again and bend over to the sheet, crossing out the last line.

Has someone ever told you that your dreams are nonsense, and you should not waste your time on them? Has someone ever tried to ruin them at the root and decide how you should live, saying they know much better? That’s what my mother is doing. She believes my wish of becoming a writer is a stupid thing. But I am not going to give up so easily and will do my best to reach for my dream and prove to her that my hobby is not a waste of time, as she wants to think.
