The promised peace after Shao Kahn's defeat did not last long. Attacks continued, despite the renunciation of the claim to Earthrealm in case of victory in the tournament. During the next defense, Sonya was captured and an ordinary rescue mission went awry. Johnny save her, but they both got stuck in the bodies of the gargoyles. Despite some inconvenience, they continue to fight for the safety of their world.
