Falchion Academy
5 hours and 12 minutes ago
"This is the new Falchion Academy?" Cloud asked as she stepped out of the front seat and looked up at the tall campus before her very eye. Skye's expression was a usual solemn one while Oxygen had his eyes full of wonder at the beautiful view before him; Falchion Academy was fairly large in comparison to normal schools, as well as a unique color palette, built with columns carrying the awning at the entrance, and multiple entrances from front to back.
"An impressive mixture of Purple and yellow," Oxy said, using his fluffy cloud arms into viewing it like a mirror, "outstanding!"
Cloud followed closely behind both the Bavoomian and the Yoojic as she darted curious gazes across the courtyard of the school. Her singular green eye caught up on the sights of students from left to right, a silent chorus of murmurs blocking her hearing. Despite being blessed with special hearing at a young age, Cloud disliked this heavily as this idle chatter had been too loud and seemed like the aggressive roar of a monster.
They were greeted with friendliness in the air as each and every student was either reading and chilling or talking with each other. Skye turned her head to exchange worried glances with her best friend upon arriving at the entrance, with Oxygen nodding his cloudy head and playfully nudging her forward.
"It'll go great, Skye! I promise!" He reassured her as the trio entered the school with a buzzing of nervous energy and a slight twinge of regret. Luckily enough, they were greeted to a pleasantly silent hallway, with lockers that took the shape of tall light blue ovals, checker themed floor, and even purple fluorescent lights that were bright enough to rival the sun.
"So cool that your mom went all out to pay the Caviousian construction workers for this," Cloud complimented as she took one good look at each and every piece of infrastructure of the inside of the school, but let alone the fact that they were going to be interrupted by a large crowd of aliens, huddled together like spiders. The Bavoomian looked on, her slanted green eye going wide with curiosity as she stepped out from behind Oxygen and tried her best to look past the crowd.
Apparently, this crowd was actually an audience, and the center of the show was an incoming Brawl; there in the middle stood a Hotted, with his arms raised up in a fighting posture as his opponent - a small Boggobian - was trembling before him. He held a spear towards the stomach of the Hotted, no longer safe in his position of the next victim to a savage local.
"O-Oh dear," Oxygen muttered, "not again."
Skye cocked her head towards the Yoojic boy and asked, "what's happening?"
"Jazz is doing it again," Cloud stepped in, her tone of voice changing angrily, "always starting fights with the wrong kind of people. He's all bark and no bite, if you ask me."
The Hotted was a large force to be reckoned with as he was slithering his tall body from side to side as if he was dancing. The little Boggobian boy, however, was shivering as he unknowingly dropped his spear. His orange eye was narrowed down in silent surrender as he tried to find a way out of this, unaware of what he could've possibly done that provoked Jazz to want to attack him. The entire chorus of other alien students, big and tall, were chanting "fight! Fight! Fight!" repeatedly as they witnessed the victim nearly about to become beaten into a bloody pulp at the hands of a savage being.
"W-We should stop him!" Skye cried as she casted a worried look at Oxygen.
"Skye, I don't think that's a good idea."
"I got this," their Brabbiter friend muttered darkly as she hovered over to the crowd and stopped only three inches away from them, her body waving slightly in the air. Skye held onto Oxy's hand as they watched their friend try to dismiss the threat, her mind already coming up with numbers of graphic scenarios; Cloud could easily be brutally beaten to death alongside the Boggobian boy or she would get expelled again like last time, a long many others.
'Oh no! No no no no no!' Skye thought erratically. 'please keep her safe, Light Meteo!!'
"You think you're hot stuff, huh, Bozo!?" Jazz sneered as he was preparing a charged attack at his opponent. "You must be waitin' for a beatdown, punk! If youse brave enough to talk down to me like yer better than me, ya gotta 'nother thing comin'!"
"P-Please! I mean no harm and am willing to make peace with my enemy!" Taituuk begged, "the ways of my people are to be kind and courteous to all creatures, especially to the opposing planets. If you wish to converse and review these last moments, I am happy to-"
Jazz thrashed him into the cold floor hard, making him crash down onto the body of his wooden spear, causing it to break into half underneath the scrawny weight of his body. The entire crowd that watched broke into collective gasps.
"SPEAK IN A LANGUAGE I CAN UNDERSTAND, YA PILE O' LEAVES!!" Snapped the Hotted in a fit of rage. He slowly raised up his arm to try and punch Taituuk in the face, the tension of the fight rising as every student was inching closer to Jazz's next move, much to the horror of the Boggobian boy.
"HEY, JAZZY!!" Cloud shouted at the top of her lungs, catching the attention of the whole entire campus. Jazz swiveled his head towards the sight of the female Brabbiter standing upright and ready to face him, as well as two of her friends standing behind to avoid any further conflict. Taituuk was breathing heavily as his heart pounded aggressively at the sound of the Hotted chuckling under his breath, his eyesight following back to Cloud. The hallway fell silent once more as the crowd was murmuring again, but this time, it was directed at Cloud.
"Is that Cloud, the daughter of Mayor Blaise?"
"That's impossible! Can't believe Blaise raised a little monster!!"
"What're you talking about, dude? She is the bomb! She kicked the butt of those Danger Brothers, Mark and Mace!"
Cloud was happy to revel in the attention she once wanted yet again, as well as the image of her longtime enemy Jazz getting apprehended by no one other than herself, the supposed "vigilante" of the entire school. Jazz raised up his head to see the Brabbiter stare at him dead in the eye and scream his name, his chuckle fading. It soon turned from a friendly reunion to a lethal standoff.
"Well, well, well," he growled menacingly as he stood up straight and trotted closer to his longtime enemy, "if it isn't Cloudy Pelt Blaise, the oh-so precious daughter of Mayor Blaise of Planet Brabbit. How's life with yer papa treatin' ya?"
"Probably a lot better than what you're doing. I mean, picking on someone as small as you? What a way to set a good example for your people. Great job."
The crowd quickly shifted into a chorus of laughter as Jazz's face was scrunched up angrily, his eye twitching from the sudden sense of humiliation. He emitted a low growl in his throat and then said, "says the Brabbiter girl who got disowned by her papa!"
"Well, at least I have a father," Cloud replied haughtily as her face stayed in its usual calm tone. Jazz was surely getting furious as the entire crowd of students continued to raise their laughter higher than expected, causing the angry Hotted to let out a dejected snarl. As someone with tons of insecurity issues like Jazz, it was not always fun to be embarrassed by someone who you know is smaller and weaker than you are, if you were someone like the Hotted himself.
Visibly angered, Jazz readies a severe charge attack while also screaming, "THAT'S IT, CLOUDY!! YOU LITTLE-"
"Jazz, leave her be," a Gigagusher said as she placed a gentle hand down onto her partner in crime's shoulder and exchanged her irritated gaze at Cloud. Wolfie gave her an annoyed sigh.
"You'll get yours next time, Cloud." She turned her circular head to catch sight of Skye the Bavoomian, her eye locking onto her like a snake. "Especially you, Skylar."
Jazz continued to stare at his Brabbiter enemy with a pissed off death glare before leaving the halls alongside Wolfie, followed by the eyes of each student staring at them. They all turned to look at the trio before moving on to their daily routines, shrugging off the events of today.
Skye, meanwhile, was shook by the realization and the sudden surprise that Wolfie the Gigagusher knew her name; she had little to no vivid memory of this person, but the Bavoomian girl either had to choose between letting it go or hyper fixating on this fact. Her small train of thought was interrupted when Oxygen landed a cloudy hand on her shoulder and blinked.
"H-How does she know your name, Skye?" He asked, his voice now calm and meditative.
"...It's nothing to worry about," Skye answered sheepishly, her little scarf waving slightly in an anxious manner, "we should just keep on moving."

On their way inside the halls, the Clean Air Club trio kept silent for the rest of the walk to their respective oval lockers with Cloud carrying her usual brave stance and Skye being filled to the brim with fear. Upon hearing that Gigagusher girl utter her name in a way she never imagined felt so... so wrong. Skye had no idea who she might've been or how she met her, but to address the daughter of Zephyr by her full name had felt like a threat than anything else.
The Bavoomian gal almost felt a tear shed down her eye as she located her locker and looked at the paper she was handed to from the principal. Thankfully, her locker was next to both Oxygen's and Cloud's, meaning they were together for the rest of the semester.
'I mean... My year here in my mom's school won't be so bad', Skye thought to herself as she twisted the odd-looking dials and tried multiple times to get the combination right. 'Oxygen has a way with damage control and Cloud is as brave as a Suburbion! With those two, I can at least survive Falchion Academy!'
However, amidst her thoughts, she could hear Oxy and the Brabbiter girl arguing with the Yoojic boy getting the first strike.
"Blaise, I appreciate your open mindedness of helping that Boggobian boy, but you could've at least warned an administrator before you insulted him!"
"Hey, don't get prissy with me, Oxy!" Cloud snapped back, "I only did what was meant to be done! That is my job of being this school's vigilante."
"Yes, but that only does more harm than good!" Oxygen scolded lightly, his puffy exterior waving slightly in the wind of the school hallways. Sighing in disbelief, Oxy placed a fluffy hand down onto his forehead and looked straight at Cloud's back as she was about to leave.
"No wonder Mayor Blaise ordered us to watch over you."
'Oxy, you son of a-!'
Skye's thoughts were blocked out by the Brabbiter girl stopping dead in her tracks as she had heard the slightest mention of her father, let alone from the mouth of her friend. Turning her head back to give Oxygen a cold deathly stare, she struck him like a Bobcat pouncing onto its prey and slammed his soft white body into the metallic oval lockers, emitting a slightly loud thud against it.
Skye stepped back and tried her best to intervene, but Cloud's anger was just too much for her to try and alleviate.
"DO NOT MENTION MY FATHER!!" Cloud roared in the Yoojic boy's face, causing her spherical compounds to shift rapidly into angry spikes, "HE DOESN'T CARE, NOR DOES HE EVEN BAT A SINGLE EYE AT WHAT OR HOW I'M DOING!! If he really cared, he would've still kept me!"
A hot sense of negativity hung above the air between the two until the Brabbiter dispersed herself from Oxy's body, his face going from happy and joyful to angry and defensive. Skye, however, was still in her frightened state as she walked up to her best friend and tried to comfort him. Cloud walked off before she could do or say anything, as if she was too tired of screaming at the Yoojic boy.
"Have fun with your new BFFs, dweeb," she sneered angrily with her hand waving backwards dismissively.
The Bavoomian girl helped open her friend's locker and proceeded to put all of his belongings inside, hoping to help Oxy move on from this recent near assault at the hands of their third member of the Clean Air Club.
"L-Let's just get to class."
