Chapter 14 The Arcane kingdom

After the invention of the invisible ink it's existence was shown to the people in secret which helped them begin to trust each other again and these secret tattoos only known by those who already had their own and over the of a year the people of each city were slow at it but they were moving forward and in the shadows the shapeless grew frustrated at the peace when they tried to pose as a child to kill a woman but the woman could find the child's hidden tattoo she told the disguised shapeless to wait while she talked to a officer to tell him that about the child who didn't have hidden tattoo
The officer approached the child and shook their hand giving them a little lightning shock this caused the shapeless arm to break out in jagged black cracks this confirmed that this wasn't a child it's the shapeless and to escape the shapeless turned their arm into a spear and pierced the officers heart killing him and escaping before others could arrived
After a near capture the shapeless had to change up their strategy if they can't strike in secret and if the people are able to kill 'em they'll give them what they all want and then immediately take it away so began the hunt word of a potential shapeless sighting would reach Dragon and his officers who would go looking catch a small glimpse of it and than disappeared it was no longer aiming to kill or harm it looked like it was just having fun with them which annoyed and frustrated Dragon who would decompress by spending quality family time
When he got back two five year old twin boys his sons Orion and Magnus slammed into him knocking all three onto the floor laughing next to join in was a little four year old girl with her fathers amber yellow eyes Dominique jumped on top of all three of them Dragon stood up holding all three of his children in his arms walked into his home where his wife Hela was feeding a white haired one year old boy with red colored eyes their youngest son Atlas while two girls one three year old Hecate the other two year old Leah were playing with blocks and dolls
Once he stepped through the doors and put down his kids Hela thrusted Atlas into his fathers arms saying with a smile "Your turn with him." After smelling something he realized it was time for a diaper change after the disgusting ordeal was said and done and Atlas now in a clean diaper was ready to spend the rest of the day with daddy at dinner Dragon trying to stop a small food war between Orion, Magnus and Dominique before it starts and while Hela was having a nice conversation with younger daughters while stopping Atlas from trying to eat his sisters hair for some reason while she doing she unexpectedly was hit with mash potatoes Dragon had failed to stop the food war between their eldest
The younger kids joined in and the parents they knew they couldn't stop it decided to join in that night while they washing up and getting ready for bed fighting their own children while they were trying to clean them and when they finally got the last of them in bed the two of them collapsed in their own bed falling asleep not knowing what the shapeless had planned
For years the shapeless watched everything everyone and noticed something some people were unsatisfied with Dragon police officers complaining about how it's been years and the shapeless was still free still causing chaos and absolutely evading the officers and their king, this is a crack that the shapeless was ready to take advantage of
That night a group of people were in a bar talking about recent events about how the king Dragons officers let the shapeless escape again and as they spoke their was frustrated poured from their voices and as they talked another man came up to them joining in their complaints but offered a solution "We handle it ourselves." They all laughed at him calling him crazy but he kept talking saying "Yes they are more trained and more skilled but if that mattered they would've caught this monster by now." "Hold on hold on you just sat down and started talking for all we know you could be the shapeless if you want to prove me wrong let me see if you have a hidden mark." one of the man said
The entire bar turned to him and he just chuckled and said "I could be but if you called the officers to come and capture me I'd most likely escape and you would be back complaining about it like right now." The bar went silent at that and continued "If I am the shapeless would you try to detain me." The man said without hesitation "Of course." Than the first man leaned in his eyes turned black and his entire face broke out in black cracks revealing he was a the shapeless the men that were drinking now were in a one sided fight with a shapeless the commotion had attracted some near by officers who joined in and once they did the shapeless ran
After the battle the officers warned the people that picking a fight with the shapeless was stupid and dangerous and if possible they should try and escape and warn the nearest officer the men agreed and thanked while inside they were saying "You had your chance and it still escaped again." These men had came to a decision if the officers will continue fail maybe they should offer their help and unknowingly the very monster they had decided to hunt was watching and laughing to himself because he was not expecting it to be this easy to be this quick for them to be this gullible and they muttered "I'm definitely going enjoy this."
