Corpse continent series book two: Rise of the Arcane kingdom

Rahara many years ago when was a place where if you see a child walking alone in the streets you would just ignore them all their cries for help, food etc. but when that child would kill a man to take his jacket that would get your attention and so believing the child was dangerous you would have him thrown into a correctional institute where they focused on fixing the problem with him but not by talking to him or asking what his live has been like up to that point instead he is beaten until he is a new person Next time time you hear about this child he burnt down the institute killed all it's employees and took the other residents and turned them into a violent street gang that has been slowing taking over Rahara block by city block and with each block the greater the fear of him grew as did his power and influence and his ego. He also develop a habit of flirting and sleeping with multiple woman which also lead to him having multiple children one of these children would by given the name Dragon and with his partner Hela they would create magic When they first met Malcolm tried to convince him to join his gang but Dragon wasn't interested and saw that Malcolm couldn't be trusted so he chose to used his magic to freeze him to the spot and take the rest of his children afterwards they disappeared from Rahara as well as the other two kingdoms but this encounter left a lasting impression Malcolm had his people spread and learn what everything there is to know about Dragon and Hela especially how they came across their magic abilities which they discovered that the King of Valaheim Orion Ironwood had been to recreate the arcane ink the source of magic and Malcolm made sure to have several informants inside Valaheim to watch and wait for the Ironwoods to perfect their variation of the arcane ink and after a couple years they successfully recreated the arcane ink and now Valaheim wielded magic a victory that lasted for about ten days Unaware that Malcolm's people stole some of the ink as well as they research on how to created it and while the king of Valaheim was celebrating his kingdom was being infiltrated by gang of people who show no mercy first his guards than his family they were all surprised and overwhelmed by the sheer number of invaders wielding the power fire and before the eyes of his own people the king of Valaheim Orion Ironwood was executed and his family was left at the mercy of a man who didn't believe in mercy With Valaheim and Rahara under his control Malcolm turned his attention to Allura and began a battle that lasted for years Allura was not going to brute that easily but it was going to fall regardless and like when he began his rise in Rahara he was asked 'What do stand to gain from this?' and he said Malcolm: Growing up I had nothing there were nights where I was cold and freezing and when I notice some old man with a warm looking jacket I wanted it so I decided to take when the old voiced an issue with that I killed him and when they put me in an institute for killing the old man I wanted to burn it down and that's what I did, I want to create a world where you asked for something you just take it if a man wants a woman or a woman wants a man they can just take them consent be damned 'what I stand to gain from all this?' A world ruled by one rule might makes right "A saying he's been saying for years" Angela told everyone after the queen explained what to her family and homeland this horrified everyone Hela couldn't believe someone like that is the father of so many kind people Dragon she could understand but Angela and the others 'If we didn't separate you from him.' Is a thought she gave no more heed to and when she turned to Dragon to asked him what their next course of action was Dragon: We're gonna fortify the city focus on gaining ground if we take him head on we might lose more people than we save Angela: Where did you learn battle strategy? Dragon: The Valaheim history books aunty Hecate would read to me when we were children Hela: Oh yeah I remember those times I also remember that in all of those stories no matter how big or small both sides had an army where's our army? Dragon: Right there [points to the people they saved] that is our army we just need to give magic and train them and they'll be a mighty army Hela after a moment of thought: Alright than lets get to work Dragon kisses Hela on cheek After making their decision Dragon, Hela and the others got work building their own army to fight back against Malcolm and his militia who they still needed to defend against so whenever they needed to go and fight the others would take over the training Astrid, Bella and Leah would tattoo them Angela, Magnus, Jack and Eric would teach them how to fight with their new power and as for Aaron and Mya they would show them how create runes and use them inside machinery After months of just dealing with Dragon, Hela and their arcane gang Malcolm became on curious about their true strength so he decided to launch a full frontal assault on Allura which overwhelmed Hela and Dragon thankfully they had back up a city worth of magic wielding soldiers rushed them not just wielding fire magic like their adversary but also ice, plant, lightning, wind and water magic so many people wielding so many different forms of magic they easily sent these invaders running scared all but Malcolm who was impressed and said to himself "Looks like we real fight on our hands. Good."
