FPE Impetus AU: Grading

*The Bell rings and the kindergarteners exit the room. * Lilly: Chip? Chip: Yeah? Lilly: June's still gone. Chip: I didn't notice. Lilly: ... Is she ... *Lilly starts tearing up. * Chip: I'm sure she's fine. Lilly: She stopped showing up after she went to Miss Circle's room.  Chip: We'll just go and check Miss Circle's room to make sure. Lilly: ok. *Lilly and Chip walk towards Miss Circle's room and finds nothing. Miss Circle has already left. * Chip: See, its fine. She - Lilly: I *She knows that this isn't normal. Something else is going on. * I gotta check something. *She walks to the cupboards, checking each one. * *Nothing in the first. * *Her legs were broken. *  *Nothing in the next * *Her stomach was torn out. * *The l- * Lilly: ghhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Chip: Lilly, what's *He looks inside the cupboard. June's body lies in it. It's been torn apart, leaving only a mass of organs and bones. Lilly's starts to cry again. * We need to leave. *Chip grabs Lilly's hand and prepares to leave the room, but he hears footsteps. They need to hide. Chip hides Lilly in one cupboard while he hides in a different one. Lilly covers her mouth to stop herself from screaming. * *Miss Circle enters the room. Her head turns as she looks around the room to find the source of that scream. She knows that she killed that girl earlier. Someone must have found it. She checks the cupboard. It's right next to where Lilly was. The sound of the cupboard opening refreshes the memories of what Lilly witnessed. Miss Circle takes the remains and consumes some of them, causing a crunching sound to be heard by the two kindergarteners. She leaves the room. "Maybe they must've run off before I got here." she thinks. * *Lilly and Chip slowly exit the cupboard. * "She's gone." "This, this is all Zip's fault. " Lilly thinks. *Chip grabs Lilly's hand and they run out of the room and towards the school entrance until- * Zip: Chip, there you are. *Zip notices Lilly. * So, that gift actually made Miss Circle happy, huh? *Lilly just exits the school, ignoring what Zip had to say. * Why is she so quiet? Chip: Zip, did you know that was going to happen? Zip: No? I thought for sure that Miss Circle would've killed her for getting the wrong snack. Chip: You wanted her to be killed? Zip: Yeah. You saw how Engel rea-c .... *Chip stops listening. He shouldn't have listened. June's dead because of her. * Chip: June died. Zip: H- ohhh. She must've me- Chip: I hate you, Zip! Zip: ... w-what? Is this a prank? Chip: You hurt my friends for no reason. Zip: I had a reason. Fun. You'll get it when you're my age. Chip: Can I just go home? *Zip tries to say something, but Chip ignores anything she says. She eventually returns him home. He goes to his room and just sits on the floor. Silent. * "Is everyone I'm friends with gonna end up like her? A corpse? Is this what "fun" is like? "
