Prologue.
The photo showed a fifteen-year-old girl who looked like this. She had short, unruly black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black T-shirt, a white jacket, dark blue jeans, and white sneakers. The girl's name was Hana Hamada, and she looked sadly at the photo of a teenager. The photograph depicted a boy of about seventeen, with black hair and light blue eyes. He was wearing a black jacket and turtleneck with a red scarf, black pants, and white shoes. His name was Robert Aken, and he was standing next to a young Grenville. She sadly ran her hand over the image of Robert's face, and at that moment, Aunt Cass entered the room. Cass: (smiling) Hana, are you ready? Hana almost dropped the photograph in surprise, then turned sharply toward her, hid the photograph behind her back, and looked nervously at her aunt. Hana: (smiling nervously) I-I think... y-yes. Cass first tilted her head curiously to see what her niece was holding, then quickly appeared from behind her and snatched the photograph from her hands. Hana: (panicked) Aunt Cass, don't look... (she began) Cass looked surprised, then handed her the photo back, still surprised. Cass: (surprised) Hana, who's that next to Grace in the photo? Do you know him? Hana: (looking sadly at the photograph) Well... well, we didn't really know each other. (she said) Cass noticed Hana looking sadly at the photograph and sighed, while Aunt Cass placed her hand on her shoulder. Cass: (trying to cheer her up) What happened? Don't worry, you'll get along with this guy quickly. Hana winced, growing even more upset. Hana: (whispering) It won't work. Cass: (confused) Huh?... Why? Hana: (explaining) How can I tell you, this photo was taken twenty-two years ago. (She began speaking sadly.) Cass's dark green eyes widened, and she realized that Obake and Robert were the same person. She noticed a tear roll down her niece's cheek, and Cass quickly hugged her. Hana, at first, didn't expect her to hug her, but then Hana hugged her aunt back. Cass: (calming) Hana, it's not your fault. What happened two years ago was an accident, and it's not your fault. Hana: (whispering) But... Cass: (placing her hands on her niece's shoulders) Listen. I don't know anything about Obaka, but he probably doesn't hold a grudge against you. Hana: (smiling weakly) Maybe you're right. She tucked the photograph into her jacket pocket. After some time. Hana was about to leave the café, but before leaving, she gave Cass a hug. Hana: (smiling) When I get to Lucy's, I'll call you right away. (she said and released her from the hug.) She waved to her aunt and ran toward the train station, while Cass watched her sadly. Cass: (thoughts) If it weren't for that incident, you could have been happy with him. (she thought and sighed.) After some time. The scene cuts to Hana, holding a photograph of her cousin, Lucy. Hana: (thoughts) We'll see each other soon, little sister. (she thought and smiled.) Continued in episode 1: Fairy Tail.Prologue.
