The corpse continent series book 1: The boy named Dragon

North, east, south now it's time to head west the four of them got on the metal snake and arrived in western district which like the rest of Rahara had it's machinery it's street performers and wall art and everyone was enjoying sight seeing a they were receiving strange looks from the people walking by and at first they thought it was strange for four children walking around unsupervised and just decided to ignore them When they took a look at how much blood drops they had and concluded it was more then enough for how long they plan on staying and when they noticed some people were eavesdropping and the looked disappointed after hearing they don't plan on staying long and when Dragon and Hela noticed they looked back on all their previous walk throughs in the other districts and realized word must of spread and everyone in Rahara knew of magic wielding children traveling across the city and to prove it Dragon took Magnus aside and asked him "Hey what to learn how to make fire letters?" And Magnus said "Yeah." As Magnus was following Dragons instructions he manage to write with fiery letters in midair people began to gather around and this confirmed it these people were waiting for a show and Dragon didn't want to leave anyone disappointed so roping Magnus in the two of them turned this magic lesson into a spectacle for the bystanders first they would let the people be apart of their conversation by having fire letters form as they talked giving Magnus an exercise to improve his magic and entertain everyone around both Dragon and Magnus fire letters were ruff and a little hard for people to read Magnus's especially Dragons was easier but there were a few letters that were off but still readable While the people were enjoying the Dragon and Magnus show Hela and Astrid decided to collect the blood drops from audience and chose to use it buy themselves want ever they want since they already enough for food so they used the extra for clothing and accessories but first they needed to escape the crowd of people that Dragon had gathered for Magnus's magic lesson After escaping the ocean of people the two of them heading for the nearest store and went shopping Hela mainly bought clothes for her and Astrid as for Astrid she decided to buy clothes for the boys seeing Hela just buy clothes for them and after they left the store they both were hungry and decided to get something to eat and when they found a place to eat Dragon and Magnus met up with them and they bought some food and during their meal Astrid showed them the clothes they bought for them "Thanks." Magnus and Dragon "Thank you Astrid and Hela you'll get no thanks from me because I know you were only focused on you and Astrid not us." Hela response "I wasn't expecting one because your right I wasn't thinking either of you." They all laughed and ate all while being watched from a distance by everyone who walked by and Dragon also noticed that there was a group of people who's just been watching them from the distance and staying at that distance even after seeing other people approach them they kept their distance and the next day when they toured the city streets and enjoyed the sights and suddenly they realized they were surrounded Dragon rolled up his sleeves and set his fist on fire and Hela stood by Astrid and Magnus protectively But the surrounding people quickly realized that they came off more intimidating then they initially intending and one of them approached them saying "Okay okay all this is just something we do to everyone who visit west Rahara okay so you can put out those fist of those." Dragon put out his flaming fist but kept his sleeves rolled up and Hela put a protective hand on each of Astrid and Magnus shoulder and stood by them as Dragon talked to these people trying to understand what was happening "Okay you wanting to scare us you did, now what?" They asked them to follow them Dragon was hesitant but agreed to follow them alone and when they insisted all of them Dragon stomped the ground releasing flames that surrounded the four of them and then he address the gang of people and he said "Either I come with you alone or I don't come with you at all." That was enough to convince them and after promising that he'll come back alive he went off with this gang and they took him to their main hangout spot an abandon car factory where waited a man with bright amber brown eyes just like Dragon and Magnus This man once he saw Dragon he greeted him like they've met before which confused Dragon who demanded an explanation and the man introduced himself as Malcolm his father Dragon was didn't react didn't see this information as worth a reaction and Malcolm continued by saying "I know you weren't expecting to meet me but here I am." "Here you are." Dragon said in a flat voice with a blank expression to match this upset Malcolm but he didn't show and quickly recovered "You want to meet more of your siblings?" Malcolm asked him while gesturing to group of children with the same coloured eyes as him and Magnus but the only difference was that their eyes looked dead and when he approached them he saw faded bruises on their arms and faces and when he looked at their hands they looked like a workers hands and this told him everything he needed to know and before Malcolm could say another thing he froze the ground under the feet of every adult in the building He approached his sibling took the arm of one of them and healed all their bruises and after healing them he asked them a question "Do want to live with me or do you continue staying with him?" the six of him looked at each other and they followed him out back to Hela, Magnus and Astrid and said "We got a few more mouths to feed now, say hello to my siblings."
