Chapter 4 The city of Allura/Valaheim

Settings
The city of Allura was founded over several centuries ago and it was built on the understanding of lightning. The lightning that came from the thunderbirds giant birds born from the blood of the sky titan born with ability to generate and shoot out lightning and the people that migrated to the land of thunder used long metal spikes to catch the lightning that constantly come off the thunderbirds that fly over their heads and over the years they've learnt how to store lightning in special containers called 'lightning stores' and use it for transportation, weaponry and even lesser tools So when Dragon and Hela arrived they were awe struck by the stunning sights massive towering buildings with solid metal spikes placed on top to catch lightning and use it to power the blinding lights that made it look like the city was from another world and knowing that they couldn't handle what the city had in store at least presently so they mainly kept to the edge of the city where they asked around about any wyvern sightings which confused most of the people even though no one thought to write it down it's pretty common knowledge that thunderbirds and wyverns were hated enemies and no single wyvern would fly so close to a thunderbird populated area and the only wyvern ever to be seen near Allura was seen flying around the city and headed north to Valaheim Upon hearing that the wyvern was heading north the two of them decided to cut their Allura visit short and keeping to the edge of the city they went northward and even traveling across the outside of the city the wonder of Allura was on full display the shining light and all the lightning powered machines that made the city incredible and when the city grew smaller in the distance the two of them took one final look at the city "We'll return here one day and take in the sights right?" Hela asked Dragon "Oh absolutely but first things first we got a mission." Dragon told her and they set out for Valaheim During the trek north Dragon collected every plant, flower and mushroom for Hela to turn into one of her elixirs to take down the beast once and for all and when he was bringing back what he collected to Hela she was reading her book the creatures of the Corpse continent and showed the chapter of the blizzard bear the apex predator of the north a massive bear that stands about 20 feet tall and can reach terrifying speeds when motivated and only hunt, persistently so, in raging blizzard in fact it's believe that the blizzard bear had the power to create the blizzards they hunt in and that fact peaked Dragons interest and while reading a great chilling wind blew over them and in they saw it the favorite hunting conditions of the blizzard bear and they braced for a storm and encounter with the beast A few days after arriving they were unfortunate enough to get caught up in a northern blizzard they were dressed in their warmest clothes but despite that they were still freezing cold they endured it long enough to come face to face with a blizzard bear and just like the book said it was 20 feet tall when standing on it's hind legs and they saw a white furring giant with bright blue eyes staring down at them and when it raised it's paw Dragon grabbed Hela and got her out of the way when the bear brought down it's paw with earth shaking force and after he put Hela somewhere safe he decided to face the giant himself He needed to get the beast away so he got it to chase him by throwing a stone into it's eye and primarily relying on his speed and agility he kept away from the bears claws and teeth while keeping his distance he noticed weapons stuck in the bears hide and had a risking idea avoiding another claw swipe he managed to get on it's back and pull a spear out of it's fur and made his way to his head and trusted the spear into the bears eye and pushed it deep all the way into it's brain killing it After a brief but intense battle between the boy named Dragon and the blizzard bear had ended but as Dragon stood in front of the dead beast and realized the rumor of the blizzard bears being able to generate cold and intense wind that they hunt in was not true and when he got back to Hela he was surprised when she gasped at the sight of him until he decided to look at himself and saw that his clothes were torn and realized she gasped out of surprised that he hasn't died from the cold While trying keep him warm both of them heard something they they didn't have a word to describe it sounded like the foot steps of something massive but it had a metallic crunch and when Hela stepped outside she saw a massive metal suit of armor crouching down staring down at her and a voice from the metal giant directed at her "Are you alright little one? Is your friend resting in that burrow? Please don't be afraid I mean you no harm my name is Herald you don't have tell me yours right now just agree to let me help and your friend." Dragon hearing voices comes out to see a giant metal man gently carrying Hela in one hand while holding out his other hand for Dragon who was hesitant but seeing Hela looking safe he climbed into the giants hand and they were both carried away and after about an hour maybe more they were brought to the northern city of Valaheim Dragon was taken to a house of medicine where he was treated and Hela shared what she knew about medicine that her mother taught her and Valaheim's healers were impressed and asked this 10 year old girl to teach what she knows and Hela wasn't sure she should
