Imagine you were the child of a villain.
***
Y/N was the daughter of Mother Gothel, who always taught her heiress, "Never cross, listen to your mother, your mother will not advise you wrong. The girl knew that her mother used to have an adopted daughter, Rapunzel, whom she stole from the royal palace and loved madly, according to Gothel herself, but her knowledge was limited to this: Mother Gothel instantly cut off any talk of the Princess of the Crown.
When Prince Benjamin granted amnesty to the children of villains, Y/N was interested, but upon learning that only the children of Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Jafar, and the Evil Queen, with whom she had no contact, went to Auradon, the girl was upset. No, she wasn't a goody-goody and she wasn't a saint either, but damn it, she was so sick of this island!
But that all changed when Y/N herself received an invitation to Auradon School. The girl's mother was against her going to the school, arguing that Y/N had not reformed enough, but that if Gothel herself went instead of her daughter...
Y/N had to run away from her mother because she wouldn't let her go and kept saying, "It's not fair, I have to go to Auradon. Oh, Mother Gothel shouted so much after the fleeing Y/N that the screams could be heard through the barrier surrounding the island for some time yet.

It must be said that Y/N looked a lot like her mother: enchanting green eyes, black curly hair. She was a very attractive-looking girl, and since her arrival in Auradon, she'd been approached by princes who were usually very arrogant, like Chad Charming, who had flirted with her on the first day of her arrival. Y/N was quick to turn him away because she didn't like him at all.
***
School classes seemed boring to the girl. She even thought it wasn't so bad on the island. But in the company of the children of the chief villains, Y/N felt like she belonged. She made friends with Evie, who helped her pick out outfits for school and parties, got along with Mel and Jay, but with Carlos things were a little more complicated.
She knew she liked him, but her mind refused to admit it. And even when she started to get signs from him, she still tried to convince herself that she was imagining things or that he wasn't paying attention to her.
Carlos often looked at Y/N, so much so that he received reprimands from the teachers. Then he would lower his head and then look sideways at Y/L/N, who sometimes looked at him too and smirked. Blushing, the boy would turn away from the girl in the other direction.
At some point, Y/N recognized that she liked Cruella's son, and that's when she became terribly jealous of Jane, the Fairy Godmother's daughter. This girl tried to flirt with Carlos, and he happily responded to her without noticing how angry Y/N was. But Jane wasn't the only one who was interested in the boy; half of the fairer sex at Aradon were trying to hit on Carlos. At times like that, Y/N glared at the girls, mentally urging them to stay away from the guy, or something terrible would happen, like a statue of the Beast falling on their heads or their legs breaking, or... The Gothel heiress had a very rich imagination for such things.
***
One warm spring afternoon, Y/N was strolling through the beautiful, huge garden that was located almost in the schoolyard. Everything around it was blooming and smelling and fragrant, and beautiful butterflies were flying in the air. One of them landed right on the girl's nose. Y/N laughed softly, trying not to frighten the little insect, and slowly stretched out her hand for the butterfly to move there. But she fluttered up, frightened by some noise that was somewhere very close. Judging by the sounds, it was a conversation between two people.
Y/N carefully and quietly got closer. What she saw struck the girl: Jane was talking to Carlos, although it wasn't so scary if it wasn't for one "but": the Fairy Godmother's daughter was standing close, just unacceptably close to Cruella's son, friends so close they don't.
When Jane reached for Carlos's lips, she couldn't stand it. She quickly approached them and pushed Jane away from the guy, putting her arms around his neck.
"I love you, Carlos," the girl whispered, quickly kissing him on the lips.
At first, Carlos was taken aback, as he did not expect something like this, but then he gently hugged her around the waist, deepening the kiss. Somewhere in the background, Jane was exclaiming something, but Carlos and Y/N didn't pay any attention to her at all.
"I love you too," the guy smiled, breaking away from her lips for a few seconds and smiling broadly, and then kissing her again.
