Chapter 7

She looks out her window and sees something familiar. Iris notices a car she has seen before, and it was Nico’s, and her eyes water, and she cries. She walks into the hospital and goes to the front desk, and says, “Excuse me, ma’am, do you know which room Isabella Hoffman is in, because that is my mother.”
The doctor answers her, “She is in room 583, on the third floor.”
“Thank you,” she goes to the elevator, and she presses the button for the third floor. There was only one person in the elevator besides Iris. The person looks like he could be in his 50s, and he is a tall male, and the man just stares at her inappropriately.
Iris looks at the man and says, “Do you want anything, sir?”
The man grins and says back in a whisper, “You”.
Iris scoots away from the man, and the man scoots closer to her.
“Why are you scooting away, darlin’?” The man asks.
Iris gulps, “Leave me alone, please.”
“I may look old, but trust me,” he whispers in her ear, “I can make you moan my name like no one else has.”
When he said that, the elevator doors opened, and she ran out of the elevator. Iris screams and runs down the hall to the room her mom was in. She screams, “Mom! Help!” She yells, but what she saw made her terrified. She saw Nico laying in a room with Iris’ mom; they aren’t laying together in the same bed, but they were sharing a hospital room. “What the hell is going on here?!” She yells because Iris was still very bad at Nico for what he did.
Nico looks at Iris and says, “She is your mother? Goodness gracious, I don’t need ya’ll right now.”
“Shut up, I don’t need your opinion on us.” Iris’ mom says.
Nico just laughs, and he looks at Iris, and he stops instantly.
“I see ya’ll two have met already.” Iris’ mom says.
“Yeah, we have,” Iris says. “Have ya’ll met before this?”
“Yeah, we kind of collided, and that is how we ended up here.”
Iris looks at Nico and says, “So, you are the one who crashed into my mom.”
