Chapter 5

Iris starts to get angry, “You think by saying we have lots of enemies that I feel better?” She yells into her phone.
“It’s not what you think-”
Iris cuts her off, “No, you are not what I think! I finally know why you moved to the United States; you lied to me about that, too!” Iris says, and she hangs up her phone.
When she did that, she started to cry, because she was not having a good day with all that was going on. She starts to have a mental breakdown, and she has a hard time breathing.
While she has a hard time breathing, Nico bursts in, seeing her not being able to breathe, and runs over to her. “Hey, hey, breathe,” Nico says in a much calmer voice and a much calmer face than the last time Iris saw him.
“I c-can’t,” Iris says.
“Yes, you can, you are so strong, you can do this,” Nico says
When Nico said that, she automatically started to catch her breath. She looks at Nico and says, “Thank you, f-for helping me breathe.” She starts to stutter because Nico was shirtless in Iris’ home, and Iris has no idea why. She has so many questions, but she doesn’t know where to start. Instead, she says this, “How did you know I couldn’t breathe?”
Nico hesitates to answer, but finally, he answers, “When I was here for the first time, I placed cameras in here, because I wanted to keep a watchful eye on you to protect you.”
Iris’s brows furrow, and she starts to raise her voice a little bit, “Why the hell would you place cameras in my house without telling me?”
When she starts to raise her voice, Nico automatically raises his voice as well, “I wanted to protect you!”
“You can do that without putting cameras in my home!”
“I wanted to help!” Nico says.
Iris starts to full-on yell now, “OUT! Leave my house now!”
Nico frowns, his hands clenched so tight his knuckles are white, and he takes the hidden camera with him and slams the door shut behind him and yells, “Fuck you, I was just trying to help.”
