Chapter 4: Reflection of darkness in a broken mirror

Settings
Aisha swung back, raising her hands in a gesture of despair. She wanted to scream, beg them to stop, explain that there was a mistake, that she was not a monster, not a threat. -No! Please don’t!- these words burst from her breast, but they were silenced by adrenaline and fear. But it was too late. The demonic essence that she had so carefully hidden broke free. Rage and fear increased her strength, and her body began to change. Dark stripes spread across the skin, like cracks on fragile porcelain. Her skin has acquired an unnatural, purple hue, revealing its true nature. The claws on their hands have become longer and sharper, like the claws of a predatory beast. The eyes of "Huntrix" reflected disgust and determination. They didn’t see her as a nice fan anymore, they just saw the demon that needs to be destroyed. -I’m not a demon! No! cried Aisha desperately, hoping that they will hear her, realize that she is not like the others. But her words drowned in the chaos of the night street, remaining unheard. -She’s a demon, Rumi, we must stop her! shouted Mira, her voice full of hate. - She is a threat to us all! Rumi, without saying a word, nodded, and the "Huntrix" began to work together like a single machine. They trained together for years, honing their skills and honing their teamwork. Everyone knew their role, each acted quickly and effectively. Meir, with a sword in hand, rushed to attack first. Her movements were swift and furious, she struck with such force that it seemed as if the sword itself was blowing the air. Zoey, with daggers in her hands, moved like a shadow, deftly bypassing Aysha’s attack and delivering quick, precise blows to the weak spots. Her face was focused and serious, as if she were performing a complex choreography. Rumi remained at a distance, watching what was happening and supporting her friends with spiritual energy. She used her powers to weaken Ayshi’s defenses and amplify the attacks of Miri and Zoya. "Huntrix" were a team, strong and invincible. They were demon hunters, and now their victim was Aisha. Aisha, trying to dodge the attack, tripped and lost her balance. At this moment, Zoe took advantage of her confusion and threw her dagger. The blade penetrated Aysha’s left hand with incredible precision, piercing the flesh and causing an acute burning pain. Aysha shouted, grasping at the handle of the dagger. Blood gushed from the wound, coloring her purple skin in an even darker shade. She felt her mind blur, but she knew there was no way to lose focus. She had to survive. Having gathered her last strength, she clenched her teeth and abruptly pulled the dagger out of her hand. The pain was unbearable, but she shook it. Throwing the bloody weapon aside, she saw Rumi over her head ready to strike a deadly blow. The leader "Huntrix" put a sword over her head, her eyes burned with hatred. It seemed that everything is over, and Aisha will not be able to avoid imminent death. But suddenly, as if out of nowhere, two figures appeared, pushing Rumi away. They were the "Sanji Boys" - Gina and Baby. Gina, the leader of the group, with his cold and determined gaze, stood before Ayesha like a living shield. His movements were fast and precise, as if he danced a death dance. In his hands appeared two short swords ready to repel any attack. Bibi, the group’s makne, looked alarmed, but his eyes were burning with determination. He stood next to Gina, ready to support him at any moment. In his hands appeared two energy spheres radiating a blue glow. There is silence, broken only by the heavy breath of Ayshi and the tense silence of both groups. " Huntrix" and "Sanji Boys" looked at each other like predators ready to jump into battle at any moment. - What does that mean, Gina? Rumi asked sharply, her voice full of anger and confusion. Why are you defending this demon? Gene grinned, and this snark, full of confidence, made "Huntrix" unwittingly close. He erect himself like a steel blade, shielding Ayshu from their fury. In his eyes, icy and piercing, there was an undisguised threat. - She’s a demon, Rumi,' said Gina, his voice was calm and smooth, but there was steel in it. But it is ours. We don’t abandon our own, especially not hers. Peace sniffed contemptuously, clenching the hilt of a sword until her bones were white. - Ours? Are you out of your mind, Gina? She’s a demon, see? The thing that needs to be destroyed before it can hurt anyone! – And who decides that, Rumi? - Gina curled her eyebrows in a funny way. - You? Or your little swarm of saints? We know the truth about demons as well as you do, and believe me, not all of them are bloodthirsty monsters. Baybi approached Aicha in silence, crouching on the squiggles next to her. He carefully examined her wound, ignoring the poisonous looks of "Huntrix". His touch was gentle and caring, as if he were afraid to hurt her even more. - How are you? he asked quietly, looking into Aicha’s eyes. His blue eyes, usually full of mischief, were now expressing sincere concern. Aisha, shocked by what was happening, just nodded in silence. She could not understand why these guys, the demon hunters, suddenly decided to protect her. What do they know that she doesn’t? – We’ll figure it out,' assured her Babe, as she stood up. 'He glared at the "Huntrix," and in his usually soft gaze, steel flashed through. - And you, lady, I advise you to leave. We have unfinished business with this girl, and your intervention here is completely inappropriate. Rumi, seeing the determination in the eyes of the "Sanji Boys", flattened. She did not expect such a turn of events. She knew that Gina was a strong opponent, and to come into open conflict with him would be foolish. - Okay, Gina - she said through her teeth. - But remember: if she hurts anyone, it’s on you. With these words, Rumi waved her hand, and the "Huntrix" turned around and left, leaving Aysha alone with the "Sanji Boys". The tension in the air still felt, but now it has changed to anxiety and expectation. What will happen next? Why did "Sanji Boys" decide to protect her? And what are they going to do with it?
