Chapter 2 ( First meeting of old friends )

Settings
The one shouting at the yellow fox as he approached was a blue hedgehog with green eyes, a head shorter than our hero. A faint, but joyful smile could be seen on his face, with the same traits in his eyes, which could not be said of our two-tailed friend, with a bandaged left arm, looking at him with cold bewilderment, as if asking someone, or himself: "What? Who are you anyway?".             "Tails, Tails!..." the blue one continued to shout towards the fox.             Without wavering an inch, not even a centimeter, he waited for the hedgehog to run up to him, which he did practically in a second, at the speed of sound, even faster, stopping in front of him with a happy face, and immediately grabbed him, with tears running down his face, with his snow-white gloves by the body, hugging him tightly (despite seeing the bandage on his arm, which could inadvertently break it, so he should have been more careful, because he doesn't know, unlike the reader, that it has healed a long time ago), halasíwshy býccam na veś śvet::             "Oh my God! Tails! I'm so glad to see you!!!"             The fox, however, didn't understand anything: "Some random hedgehog just picked me up and started hugging me, talking about some Tails?!"             After the squeezing, the hedgehog pulled away from the bewildered fox and began to speak to him, with a trembling heart in his chest from the overabundance of joy:             "How are you doing, bro?!"             He, in turn, thought, looking at the blue one with some surprise: "No, seriously, is he kidding me?! Calling me bro! I don't have any relation to him, probably... or do I seriously not remember anything about what happened before I fell in Green Hill? His voice seems painfully familiar!" And after these thoughts, our hero answered him, coldly, even heartlessly:             "Excuse me, who are you?"             At this, the blue hedgehog's face immediately changed from joy to disappointment, and his eyes, so to speak, were ready to run away somewhere far from here, from the surprise he was experiencing. After a couple of seconds, he said, gesturing at himself with his hands, with a sour look on his face:             "Tails, are you joking or something?! I'm Sonic, your best friend!"             "Excuse me, I genuinely don't understand anything. What Tails are you talking about?" the fox replied again, looking with his vachámi directly at the hedgehog, who was ready to sink right into the ground from complete incomprehension of all this: "What?!! He doesn't remember anything?! Not even his nickname?!"             And the two-tailed one went on to say:             "True, your voice seems painfully familiar to me, I've heard it somewhere before, so perhaps I used to be friends with you once, well, or not. But, if so, then you (as you called yourself) Sonic, could you please call me by my real name - Miles Prower, or just Miles, or Mr. Prower?"             At this, his interlocutor's head simply boiled, like a kettle, thinking: "Call you by your real name?! You hated it when people called you that, which is why you asked to be called Tails, not Miles!!! And what is this nonsense?! You never spoke like that, Tails!"             And then Sonic pa-khútkamu grabbed Tails by the shoulders, shaking him, and shouting quickly, panicking:             "Wake up! Tails! Wake up!!!"             And the fox was frightened by the suddenness, shouting:             "A-a-a-a-a!"             And, because of this sound, the hedgehog let him go, apparently afraid that he might accidentally injure his left arm, which, in this case, imitated being broken, as it was held to his shoulder by bandages. He apologized:             "Oh, sorry!..."             "It's okay," replied the fox. "So, what do you need?"             "His arm isn't broken, then what are the bandages for?" Sonic didn't understand, seeing that Tails showed no signs of being in pain in that place, even though the hedgehog had shaken him and squeezed him with a deadly grip with yahó rucámi, because of which it simply should have hurt according to all the laws of physics beloved by the fox. But, despite this, he, Sonic, answered him like this, with a hint of excitement, like the sea rippling under a light breeze, making Two-Tails' long, black scarf ripple like a śtyah, Sonic stammered:             "So, couldn't you... Miles...?" He struggled with the name, having been accustomed to his old friend's nickname his whole life. "...maybe go grab some food with me? Just so I could... you know... talk to you about something, bro. You need to get back into the swing of things after being home for months, right?"             Despite the clear trouble he was having speaking, a clear sign of his nervousness, the blue hedgehog's companion agreed. Turning slightly to step back in the other direction, he simply said:             "Let's go!"             "Oh, right! Let's go!" Sonic exclaimed, falling into step beside his friend Tails. But it wasn't quite like before, not like two long-time comrades. Instead, it felt like two strangers who had just met, almost completely silent - a situation practically unheard of for them: a lonely silence untouched by even a flicker of conversation. Meanwhile, Sonic was panicking internally: "What am I going to tell everyone else?! They're not even going to recognize him! Holy chili dog chaos!"
