Sonic had no choice but to brute force the clock and break inside. They looked like a mixture of a dinosaur, a kangaroo, a crayfish and clock gears. They were loyal to their master, who created them and turned their anger towards Sonic. — Detain him, my servants! — he ordered them, and he retreated, passing through the wall. The first monster tried to attack the werewolf, but the last one threw him aside with one blow, the second ran forward, dodged the werewolf's blow and pounced on his face, trying to bite him, but only the wolf hedgehog himself grabbed his head with his fangs, biting it off and throwing away the headless body into the abyss. The third one jumped up from above and did not have time to grab him before he chose to explode, like a creeper from Minecraft and threw Sonic into the street with a blast wave. Fortunately, he managed to grab the lower roof with his left hand and climb onto it. He looked around and saw that Mephiles was already flying from another clock tower to the next one, since the other one was already cracked and was slowly falling apart, leaving in its place a purple haze that was disintegrating. Below at this time, a horde of monsters, whom Mephiles had summoned, was running through the city. The Mobians who lived in this city chose to flee when they saw the monsters. On the roofs there were healthy three-meter monsters, green in color and emitting a yellow haze, and in appearance resembling a mixture of a spider and a lion, and through their mouths each of them spat a green laser that burned through everything like acid. And most importantly, each such monster also had black and translucent gears on their bodies with black haze on their shoulders and hips. Each monster entered other people's houses, broke windows, threw civilians out into the street and took away everything stolen, and among the stolen things there were, oddly enough, alarm clocks, cuckoo clocks, large tick-tock clocks, hourglasses and other clocks that had the passage of time in them. They took it to their owner, who created them while in the sky. The demon himself, absorbing the haze from all types of watches, grinned evilly: — Yes. Bring me more time, servants! More! A bunch of healthy purple gorillas ran towards her and were about to attack her with roars. — Attacking a defenseless girl? Some immediately attacked, but then it was as if something invisible pushed them away from the tornado, and some stood still and, without expecting it, flew around the tornado, circled and fell from the roof when the hedgehog stopped. At this time, a whole crowd attacked the werewolf, but did not explode. They only hoped to keep him with a whole mountain falling on him at the same time and then kill him outright with one powerful explosion at the same time. Three more green monsters with lasers had already run up and also attacked the mountain. Sonic himself strained with all his strength and threw all the monsters away from him, knocking them off the roof onto the floor. The hedgehog werewolf again took the girl in his arms and jumped on his feet along the roofs to the large tower. They spotted a couple of monsters along the way, but decided to ignore them for now. They jumped to the edge of a brick platform sticking out near a giant clock on the wall. Inside, however, there was no longer Mephiles, but some kind of giant monster, completely covered in a black silhouette and emitting black haze from itself. The head was in the center of the huge shoulders in the form of a hump, the eyes glowed blue, as did the huge toothy mouth that also appeared. On the arms and back there were also a bunch of gears and other parts related to watches and time. There were still no legs, but the hands became huge and clawed. The monster’s voice clearly resembled Mephiles himself, but taller and more terrible: — I AM A BEING FROM PURE TIME!!! — WITHOUT LE-E-EGS!!! — Amy shouted, stretching out her left palm forward and mimicking the terrible voice of Mephiles. — YOU WILL CHOCK ON ME WITH THESE WORDS, PINK!!! — the monster shouted and turned to them with a werewolf face. — NOW I BECAME A TIME EATER AND I CAN ABSORB TIME NOT ONLY AROUND THE WHOLE PLANET, BUT ALSO IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE!!! Suddenly, one of the walls cracked slightly and one of the gears fell down, and the time eater himself felt that his right hand had become even larger by a little two centimeters. — Nothing will work out for you, Mephiles! The werewolf ran only on all fours and got a little tired while running. — “Why did Watchguardian even give me this damned shape of a werewolf? I hate him. It makes me too slow." — Sonic thought grumpily about his appearance, which the keeper gave him. After all, at supersonic speed he would have run around this big guy faster, attacked him from behind and hit him unnoticed. While he was thinking, he did not have time to realize how a portal appeared in front of him and a hand stretched out, which slammed him onto the floor like a fly. — OH YEAH!!! The monster at this time had already absorbed the remnants of time and began to crack. A blue glow passed through the cracks, and the monster itself screamed as if it were being crushed by something heavy. Enveloped in all the cracks around the entire new body, the monster explodes and the explosion leaves in its place only a shining blue point, similar to a star, which shone for several minutes and disappeared without leaving a trace. The clock tower began to slowly fall apart and fall. The werewolf managed to stretch out his long arm by the shard to grab it, then took Amy's lifeless body and ran with them out of the tower, jumping onto the roof of a low building. From a distance, he saw how the clock tower had collapsed and all that was left of it were small hills made of heaps of old bricks, stones, wooden boards and sand. It seems that the time Mephiles absorbed into them can no longer be returned. Sonic put the old hedgehog on the floor and almost cried. He couldn't believe that she formed up and died so quickly.
