12. Ralph

Settings
I was running across the field, and a shadow was running beside me, and I couldn't outrun it. I tried and tried, but in vain. I felt myself slipping and falling into the dark abyss, and I started to grab the grass, but I collapsed into the darkness. And I woke up. I hate it when I dream like this! Wiping my forehead, I strode into the bathroom; it was already four o'clock in the morning, and the sky had barely lightened. A splash of cold water on my face perked me up a little, and...suddenly Lorna crept into my thoughts. Her thick black hair, neat straight nose, dark eyes, and the tempting curves of her figure flashed before my eyes. Everything in me tensed and quivered, sending a pleasant wave of sensation through my body. I wanted Lorna, right now. I got dressed and hopped outside, shivering from the cold. The bike was waiting for me meekly on the porch. Gritting my teeth, I got on it and pedalled with all my might, heading for the number 5 house on Ottostraße. There was no light in the window, of course, but I decided to wake the lady of the house. Picking up a small pebble from the ground, I took aim and threw it at the glass. A ringing sound cut through the silence of the night. Twenty seconds later, a girl's sleepy, dishevelled face appeared in the frame.       — Ralph? What the hell? Have you seen what time it is?       — Lorna, — my voice was suddenly low and husky, — I need you to come downstairs. She frowned and hid in the window, and I waited. Soon soft, quiet footsteps were heard, and Lorna appeared before me with a frown on her face and her arms crossed over her chest. She was wearing a warm woollen dressing gown, but she was still shaking her leg from the cold and giving me a displeased look.       — Why are you here? — She whispered, letting the steam out of her mouth. — Why are you awake? We might be spotted–it's curfew! In response, I pulled her into the darkness of the archway. We couldn't see each other, but we could hear our frequent breathing. My body was trapped in the sweet ache of desire burning between my legs. I didn't blink. And she didn't look away either, I could feel it. I wrapped my arms around Lorna's neck, then slid them down her thighs and began to move. We'd never been separated by such a short distance before. Our bodies pressed tightly against each other. Our faces were so close that I could smell the sweet scent of her perfume, the freshness of the morning. Her heart was beating hard next to mine. I could feel her ragged breathing, feeling her touch with every fibre of my body. I could barely breathe. Lost in her. Our eyes met. I couldn't look at anyone but Lorna. Her dark eyes burned like whiskey lit by a red-hot flame. Her hips slowly circled around mine, her leg moving slowly between my legs. One arm slid around my waist, the other moved up to the middle of my back, pulling me against her. I wrapped my arms around her neck, my fingers burrowing into her silky hair.       — I like that, — Lorna murmured. She pressed her whole body against me. I could feel her fragility, and she held and moved with me in unison with the music playing in our heads. The hollow between her collarbones glistened. I felt sweat sliding down my collarbone. The blood burned with fire. With each movement of her pelvis, Lorna built up that heat in me. I felt the stiffness of my trousers against her skin as I moved my hand down to her arse, pulling the girl tighter against me. This dance felt more like... Foreplay. My breath caught when Lorna's forehead touched mine and our gazes met. A lust ignited deep inside, and a growing need I hadn't felt in a long time enveloped me. She wrapped one leg around my waist.       — Touch me, — she exhaled. I made a deep-chested sound, and my hand slid under her dressing gown, up her leg to her thigh, pulling her closer. She barely held back a cry as I lowered the girl back down. She threw back her head, arching out. I leaned in with her, my mouth on her throat, my tongue sliding over her skin. I was aroused. Burning from the inside out. Her breaths burned my skin, leaving fiery trails in every direction. I felt her nipples harden. The heat spread between her thighs where I pressed mercilessly against her. My lips moved slowly up her neck, then her chin, and we straightened until we were face to face again. The look in Lorna's eyes took my breath away.       — Lorna, — I whispered. She was expecting a kiss. It seemed to be here between us, eager to happen. Lorna hadn't expected my hands, so rough and hard before, to hold her face gently. Nor did she expect to see me clench as if in pain. She lifted her chin, wanting it, needing the kiss so badly.       — Please. I pressed my lips to hers, kissing Lorna gently, slowly. The world spun around us, blurring and disappearing. I had to grasp the girl's wrists to keep from slipping away with her, gasping at the sensation that roared inside. A match was lit in the dark archway, flaring brightly. My lips opened at that sigh and, growling with pure desire, I kissed her again, this time hard and deep. She wrapped her arms around my neck, snuggling closer, opening her mouth to respond. The taste of her tongue, the heat of her lips. We began to dance slowly again, our bodies acting of their own accord, mouths opening and closing, heads tilting back and forth. Our tongues entwined, the kiss deepened. We bit our lips so aggressively that our teeth clattered against each other. We danced and danced, and in the back of my mind I noted that I'd been right about Lorna: if she belonged to you, she belonged to you whole. This kiss expressed the essence of this woman: bright, fiery, totally focused on the moment. She was my whole world, with no room for anything else. Her body pressed against me, her hands on my body, her breath, her lips...       — Oh god, — Lorna breathed out into my mouth. I responded with a moan, which she inhaled as I kissed her again. We kissed until a bottle broke somewhere and a drunken voice broke the spell. Slowly the circle we were spinning in melted away. The solid ground felt solid under our feet again, our bodies separated. The real world materialised. We stood for a while longer, searching for something in each other's eyes.... I didn't realise what it was. We both blinked and were stunned, as if coming out of a trance. When we came out of the archway, my legs were shaking. I tried to suppress the seething emotions in my body.       — Do you want to get out of here? — I asked in a voice hoarse with desire. She could see it smouldering in my eyes. Lorna nodded, her body was literally screaming for it while the realisation of what had happened seeped into her heart and I didn't know if it was hurting or healing. The air became cooler, which refreshed my brain a little. I felt Lorna come down to earth as well. The lust was waning. An inner voice started asking questions and asking me to think twice. We stood for too long. I didn't take my eyes off the girl, her features sharpened with hard angles of disappointment.       — Lorna...I, you... She came up and kissed me on the lips, touching the bottom edge of my shirt with her fingers as if unintentionally. I ran my hand from her hip to her neck, and Lorna moaned softly into my mouth.       — Good night, Ralph. See you later. And try not to get caught by the services. With those words, the girl walked away, leaving me all alone.
