Last night I dreamed of a kind of Cthulhu — a scary octopus with human eyes and horns. The creature was slimy and unpleasant. In my dream it overtook me in the pool. I got up and went to the kitchen, firmly deciding not to go into the bathroom today without a club. I made myself some cereal and sat down at the table. I got up, washed the plate and, taking the baton, turned on the light in the bathroom. At first nothing happened, and I almost relaxed, when suddenly I heard water flowing from the bathroom drain. I prepared myself, brandishing my weapon. Suddenly I was thrown against the wall by a powerful current, I almost dropped the baton. I quickly stood up and saw a monster stretching its tentacles towards me. I wasted no time in hitting one of them. The octopus recoiled. I think I made him angry. He immediately frowned his cord-shaped eyebrows and zealously began to entangle me. At first my legs were tied, the grip was strong, but I didn’t give up and hit all the tentacles with a bat. Cthulhu gradually crawled away from me, and soon disappeared. I exhaled. Instantly a thought came to me — how could I turn on the light in the bathroom? I raised my head, looking at the steadily burning light bulb. It looks like the lights haven’t gone out forever. I coordinated quickly. Putting on my headphones, I ran out into the street with the cart and headed to the same store where I had been the previous time. He got there quickly. Having sketched in my head what I could take with a more or less good shelf life, some vegetables and fruits, I went outside again. The weather was windy, I wrapped my coat tighter and walked faster. When I got home, I unloaded the groceries and cooked myself lunch. Considering that my supplies were replenished and I was good at cooking, I made soup. I sat down at the table and started eating. It was hot, but that didn’t stop me from eating it with gusto. After lunch I went into the living room. Apathy washed over me again. I unconsciously took a piece of paper and wrote several dates in a column. 26.10, 27.10, 28.10, 29.10 and 30.10. And aside from them is what happened these days. 26.10. Werewolf in the living room. Siren. 27.10. A sticky creature in the bathroom and a giant in the bedroom. 28.10. Hairy creature on the street. Power outage. 29.10. Katya is in the kitchen. 30.10. Octopus in the bath. Once I finished, I re-read it several times to remember it. Then he put it in his jeans pocket. I calmly, without experiencing any emotions, took out a pistol and shot myself in the head.
