In the darkness

Sasha opened her eyes. This was her second day of life in this world, and the girl hoped to spend it interesting. She looked at the calendar. Saturday. In her home world, this didn’t mean anything, there was no question of any weekend, but for some reason the alarm clock didn’t ring today, and Lex realized that today was a special day. The girl looked at the time on her phone and was surprised. While she was sleeping, she received a message. She opened it. Hello Sasha. I was wondering, would you like to meet at the park today? But then 11:30 came, and the girl began to get ready for the meeting. In her opinion, a blue dress and the same handbag with black sandals looked cute, especially if you were going to meet a guy. The walk to the park took 10 minutes. Sasha noticed him yesterday while walking home from school. She was walking along the alley when she suddenly saw a blue-eyed brunette in a short-sleeved shirt and jeans sitting on a bench. Seeing Lex, he stood up and approached her with a smile. - Hello, Sash. So how are you? The day before yesterday you were so sad… - Hello, Lesh. I just felt apathy. But you cured me. Arriving home at two, she realized that she was hungry. Fortunately, there was a lot of food in the refrigerator, so there were no problems with cooking. An hour later, the girl was sitting at the table and devouring soup. Hot, of course, but it was even tastier this way. After lunch she did her homework. This took no more than an hour. Not knowing what to do with herself, Sasha plopped down on the sofa. A phone came to hand, and she went online. Having typed in the request “World Map”, she looked in surprise at the continents and their location. It’s interesting here, though. Strange. Why not? Why are there so many states and cities here? Obviously more than ours! The rest of the day was interesting. Lex discovered the vastness of TikTok, Instagram and VK, talked with all her friends and prepared dinner for herself and her father. The last one came late again, but the girl didn’t care. She was thinking about what she would do tomorrow. She understood a lot about this world and wanted to try something new. And I learned about working days and weekends. And since tomorrow was Sunday, it was possible to break away. Going to bed at 11, she had already decided that she would go to the cinema with friends and stay with someone for the night. She even agreed with whom and with whom. But everything interesting awaited her tomorrow… The alarm clock rang at 8:00. Sasha installed it herself because she wanted to do something in the morning, namely, choose a movie to go to with Alena, Katya, Vika and Masha. After breakfast, she plopped down on the bed and opened the Internet. We immediately discard documentaries. It’s not very interesting. Especially in such a company. It could be a melodrama or an action movie. Not an action movie, not for girls. Which melodramas are trending now?.. It’s hard to choose! Okay, let’s go to the classics. Titanic. It looks snotty, but just right for our age. This movie was scheduled for 2:40 p.m. Not bad, considering that we will then go to Masha’s for the night. After texting her friends with movie tickets, Lex checked the time. It’s already 9 am. It’s time to think about what to do for the night. The ubiquitous Internet helped again, and after half an hour the girl had a whole list of things to do: Pillow fight; Dance battle; Dinner (pizza, rolls); Quiz; Watching a movie. Small, of course, but, I think, just in time. There was still a lot of time left. The girl decided to surf the Internet. It’s trite, but for a person who has been in the world for three days, it’s a great activity. Before lunch she studied many countries, their history, politics and geography. After lunch, Sasha began to get dressed. Her choice fell on light, light jeans and a T-shirt. The girl put on her sneakers and left the apartment. The walk to the cinema took fifteen minutes. Masha was already standing at the entrance. The rest of the girls haven’t arrived yet. But five minutes later Alena came, and after another two — Katya and Vika. The friends said hello and came in. Tickets were purchased quickly, as was popcorn. There were only three minutes left before the film started, so the girls went into the hall. The beginning seemed strange to Lex, but by the end she burst into tears, just like her friends. Still, the film was chosen well. At six they already left and headed towards Masha’s house. Sasha, of course, didn’t know the way, but the walk went unnoticed. The girls discussed the film and shared their emotions. There was no one in the apartment. When asked by Lex, Masha brushed it off, saying that her parents had gone to the dacha. - I made a list of what we can do, — Sasha muttered and handed the piece of paper to her friends. - Wonderful! By the way, I have already ordered dinner for us, it will arrive soon! — Masha exclaimed. - Fine. Let’s start with a quiz. Let’s just turn on something to listen to first! — said Katya. - Cool. It’s ready, — Alena whispered, and at the same moment the music started playing. The next hour was fun. The girls took turns asking each other questions, and at 19:30 the courier rang the doorbell. Having picked up the order, the friends sat on the floor and unpacked the pizza and rolls. So tasty! And Masha has good taste! After dinner, the girls had a dance battle. The teams were not equal, but everyone had fun. At 20, they sat down in front of the big TV and began to decide what to watch. - We need something small. Otherwise we won’t have time to fight with pillows, — said Vika. - Yeah. Maybe anime? — asked Sasha. - Oh, great idea! — Katya was delighted. — I suggest “Your name.” It’s not very long, but interesting, — said Masha. - Come on, — Alena approved. The viewing really took no more than two hours. And there was still a lot of time left before bed. The pillow fight lasted only half an hour, the girls collapsed from fatigue. Oddly enough, everyone found a bed. The friends wished each other good night, but suddenly it dawned on Vika: - Don’t we have to go to school tomorrow? - Not really. Tomorrow is some kind of holiday, there will be no school, — Katya answered. - Oh, I forgot, okay, let’s go to bed. Sasha closed her eyes again with calmness, expecting that tomorrow she would wake up again in this world, but she was mistaken. As soon as she plunged into the kingdom of Morpheus, she woke up in a white room. - Sash, can I still stay in your world? He’s so wonderful! — exclaimed that Sasha. - No. I want to come back. I didn’t realize how well I was living before, but after going through all this, I realized it. But don’t be upset, things are good in your world now too.
