Chapter 10
February 23, 2024 at 4:54 AM
Sasha woke up in a white room with a table and chairs.
I’m back to the beginning. Wonderful. But… It seemed like I was supposed to die!
Everything is like in that dream from which it all began…
The girl walked to the table and sat down. A moment later, her mother appeared opposite her.
- Well done Lexi, you did it! — her mother praised her with a smile.
- Is it true? This is cool. But why didn’t I die? Eric said that I belong to the family of Teodriel… — Sasha said hesitantly.
- You’re too pure for that. And your friend too, — her soft voice was soothing.
- So he’s alive? But where are we? — the girl asked.
- In your head. I don’t know what world you will find yourself in after this conversation. You have to decide this yourself, — my mother explained softly.
- Can I decide this myself? Wonderful! Where will Eric end up? — Lex asked curiously.
- Can not answer. He hasn’t made a choice yet, — the woman said.
- Maybe I should wait? — the girl asked.
- Try. If you want, I’ll show you what happened to the world, — her mother offered.
- Let’s! — Sasha asked.
A large screen appeared to their side. Sasha turned around and the broadcast began.
Irotip Palace
An inhuman scream was heard from the king’s chamber. The servants, fussing, ran towards the scream. Gradually, screams began to be heard in all corners of the palace. The entire royal family turned to dust, and a few minutes later the heralds announced to the people the death of the rulers.
City streets
The orcs, goblins, demons and magicians gradually decreased in size, squealing in fear. Half an hour later the real massacre began here. People, feeling a surge of strength, rallied and, armed with pitchforks and spears, drove the invaders out of the city, killing those lagging behind.
Lyoward Central Square
Shouts of joy are heard everywhere. Many people jump for joy in boats, falling into the water. The guards try to calm them down, but are unsuccessful. But they are not paying attention.
Stormwind City Center
People with machine guns seize the palace of the rulers. They are met by the royal guard, but are defeated. People kill servants, officials and guards. Confusion reigns. Joyful cries and dying groans are heard everywhere.
- People are happy, — stated Sasha
- Yes. Are you not? — the woman asked, looking at her daughter in bewilderment.
- Don’t know. I’m glad they are free, but what will happen to them in the future? — Lex asked.
- Don’t worry. They will choose worthy rulers for themselves and will live happily, — her mother reassured her.
- Sooner or later it would have happened anyway. But how long will it take them? — asked the girl.
- Years. Several generations will change. But the world will exist for a long time. Everything will be fine, — the woman assured her. — Trust me.
- Well, did Eric choose peace? — Sasha asked, not even hiding the fact that this worries her most of all.
- Not yet. Do you want to talk to yourself from another world? — the blonde suggested.
- Yes! — the girl exclaimed.
At the same moment, a girl appeared, a copy of Sasha.
- I’ll leave you.
Mom has disappeared.
- I’ve already met your mother. She told me why we changed. Did you manage it? — asked the other Sasha.
- Yes. But your brother and sister died. Sorry, — she whispered, immediately becoming sad.
Her eyes widened.
- What, both Madan and Erya?
- Yes. But Erya became a villain. It was she who killed Madan, — the girl mumbled.
- Horror! Which Eric were you talking about? — she asked curiously.
- He is my friend. He helped us a lot. By the way, he’s also a prince, — Lex said.
- Interesting. Will you tell me about your adventures? — the girl asked.
- Of course, — Lex smiled.
The story took about an hour. The other Sasha was constantly surprised, but was delighted with the story.
- Cool. So we can switch again? — asked that Sasha.
- Yeah. But first, please tell me what happened in my world while I was away, — Lex asked in turn.
- Oh, well, yes. So…
