Another student with a pretty face becomes a passenger. He asks to be taken to the same university where Azriel’s previous client was going. But he was kind and cheerful, but this cab driver didn’t like him right away. And he didn’t immediately realize what the problem was. But he was used to using his intuition. So he had no trouble choosing a route.
- Drive faster!
- Are you in such a hurry?
- Of course! But you wouldn’t understand,” the boy added with a wince.
- Perhaps. But why do you think so?
- 'So you haven’t studied anywhere. You’re ordinary.
- And you?
- I’m a student. I’ll get a profession, a job and earn a lot.
- Why do you feel this way about people who’ve just finished school? Have you ever thought that it might make them uncomfortable?
- They don’t know how to do anything!
- You’re wrong. Many people have talent, but not everyone has the opportunity to realize it. Besides, if all people were so educated, no one would work in jobs that are necessary but unappreciated by society. For example, you would be walking now.
- He’s being clever!
- Besides, not all educated people can work in their professions. There are different life circumstances.
- So what?
- The same thing could happen to you.
- It won’t.
- Why not?
- My father will provide for me.
- I see.
Asriel didn’t need to talk to that student anymore. Even though he tried to explain everything to him, he was incorrigible. Of course, it was instilled in his family to treat uneducated people as worthless. Asriel had met people like that before.
- We’re almost there.
- Finally! Let’s hurry up.
- Okay.
Asriel pressed the pedal harder and soon stopped the car. The student got out without saying goodbye, and with his head held high, walked towards the university.
