When Isaac got lost the second time, McCall didn't worry much because Derek called him and said he'd picked up Lahey. The alpha added that he would take curly to McCall's house and make sure that he went into the house. Scott agreed. "Don't look for him," Hale said before hanging up.***
When Isaac disappeared for the third time, the black-haired man was calm, because he knew that, most likely, the guy was with Derek again. But closer to night he got a call. "Scott," Isaac breathed softly into the phone, "Scott, don't listen to them, okay? It's okay, Scott.… Don't look for me…" There was a fuss in the background and it wasn't Lahey who said the next phrase at all. "Scott McCall?" The guy tensed up. That voice belonged to Gerard Argent, a crazy old hunter who wanted to be healed by being bitten by a werewolf. "Gerard Argent," McCall drawled back, "what do you need?" There was a grin on the other end of the line. "Just your bite," the old man replied. "And if I refuse?" "Then your sweet beta will die," the hunter said harshly. (Isaac was thinking hard about how to get out of the ropes, but he couldn't do anything, because five hunters were watching him. Damn that Derek, who assured the guy that everything would be fine!). Scott was silent for several minutes, and then, gritting his teeth, uttered only one word: "Where?"***
McCall very quickly reached the forest, where, as the old man said, Argent himself would be waiting for him. "Scott, Scott, Scott," Chris and Kate's father shook his head, coming out from behind the tree, "I didn't think you could get so attached to someone that you'd go straight to the hunters." The red-eyed man only grinned: "Where is he?" the guy growled. At the same moment, several hunters brought out Isaac, whom they supported so that he would not fall. Curly raised his head with difficulty and exhaled: "Scott…" The black-haired man only smiled faintly, trying to cheer up his beloved, and looked at the old man again. "You have to bite me," he reminded, "otherwise I will order to shoot him and he will die," while Gerard was saying these words, the hunters who accompanied Isaac took out their pistols. Scott raised his hands: "Don't jump to conclusions, Gerard." The predatory grin of the werewolf told the hunter that everything was not so simple. And exactly…***
Suddenly, Stiles appeared out of nowhere, who threw a bottle in the direction of the hunters. Smoke poured out of it and everyone coughed and started rubbing their eyes with their hands. While no one saw Scott and Stilinski took Isaac, who still fell to the ground, and slowly left.***
"Why?" Lahey asked, lying in the hospital room. His Alpha insisted on it. He was sitting next to him. "What "why"?" McCall asked. "Why did you come for me?" beta explained, "I asked you not to come." The guy leaned over to the werewolf and lightly squeezed his hand. "Because I can't lose you," Melissa's son said, "I love you." Lahey Jr. chuckled a little and silently put his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. They would be fine, they were sure of it.
