"I'm not leaving you," Scott said, packing his suitcase.   "It's for a couple of days," the werewolf repeated, putting the remaining necessary things in the bag.   "I'll be back," he promised, getting into a taxi.

Isaac has been coming to the cemetery to the same grave on the same day for many years. On the tombstone it is written:   "Scott McCall. 09/16/1995 — 06/25/2012. A loyal friend, a loving son and a beloved boyfriend."   Lahey puts flowers on the grave and leaves.
