Slayer of the Lands Between

I wake up and look around, my senses coming back to me. I seem to be in some sort of church littered with dust and debris. There's a corpse to my right, what a nice welcoming sight. I also seem to be in my underwear and only have some sort of club as a weapon. Does this world really see me that low? I pick up my club. It's pretty heavy, could do some damage but I'd much rather have a sword. I guess I'll just have to find one. I approach the corpse. It's a female wearing some sort of pink dress. "Ew" I mumble in disgust as the stench of rot fills my nostrils. "How vile. I wake up almost completely naked, in some filthy church with only a club to fend myself and to make it even better there's a rotting corpse?! What did I do to deserve this? Wait..." I ponder for a moment. Did I do it? Am I in the lands between? Only one way to find out. I approach the wooden doors and push them open. I step out and gaze at the large golden tree in the distance. "I did it. This is it. The erdtree. I'm here." I look down at my club. Although a terrible weapon, it will do. I look over to my left and see a bridge, the only way I can go. I cross the bridge, hoping it won't collapse under me. I make it across and enter an open area with a huge statue at the end. It depicts a woman with her arms stretched out like she was crucified. "This must be Marika. I can't wait to kill her. This land will realize how weak their God is. I will kill everyone who stands in my way." Then out of nowhere a huge creature jumps out from behind the statue and lands in front of me. It has multiple arms and wields a shield and 2 swords? I can't tell, but how revolting! "You disgust me, I shall strike you down and make sure you don't live to display your odious appearance to anyone else." I charge at him and stop. Why did I stop? I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my abdomen as I slowly look down to see the cause. "Well....I guess that's what I get for getting too cocky...." The blade of the hideous beast juts out from the other side of my abdomen. It's clear I lost, but no way I will die like this. "I refuse to die this way.....I deserve a cooler death, not one like this.....I'll come back for you...I guarantee it..." But unfortunately, the beast did not care for my words and tossed my injured body off the cliff. I've lost the battle, but not my life. All I have to do is survive the fall and hope someone comes to my aid. Lesson learned, don't be an idiot.
