An ordinary snowflake, of which there is no count, hides a lot of interesting stories. Holiday spirit, magic, fairy tales and sadness and joy. Lots of unprecedented beauty. Itβs not for nothing that they say that frost and sunshine are always a wonderful day. But our story today is not about snow, but specifically about the holiday itself, also known as New Year. Our holiday today was celebrated not only all over the world, but also somewhere far away in one small town called Mobiustown.
The Mobians lived there, cheerful and friendly people. All residents of Mobiustown were preparing for this holiday. They all made cookies, decorated their houses with garlands, decorated Christmas trees, prepared gifts and bought a lot of items and food from the stores for the holiday. Even what they don't need.
They especially prepared and decorated the largest Christmas tree with a very large and red star on the top of its head. All of Mobiustown loved and adored the New Year. Only one green mischief, half hedgehog, half snake, hated him.
He lived not far from that same city. High, high in the mountains. He lived there and looked down on the residents of Mobiustown, envied them and even couldnβt stand them. And please donβt ask why he hates this holiday so much!? Maybe because he canβt get pants for himself, since he has a tail instead of legs? Maybe because it's all rotten like coal? Maybe the Olivier salad is barely tasty? Or was he jealous of all the Mobians because of their height, since he himself was taller than them?
The most likely explanation is that he was born completely alone, that he was an outcast from society, for he was the only one like him, and besides, his heart was empty and small. So small that he stopped feeling it. He even began to ignore his own conscience. But he lived there, by the way, and not alone.
