Birth of a leaf.
In the first warm days of spring, on the maple tree that stood and grew near a large forest, small flowers and leaves began to appear on the branches. On one large branch there grew a special leaf. He, like other leaves, already felt the movement of insects, the singing of birds, the blow of the breeze and saw them every day. He drank the morning dew and washed his face. The first swallows, swans, wood pigeons, flamingos and other species of birds began to arrive. Swallows flew merrily over the forest and field and chirped loudly. Storks clicked their beaks, swans cackled and beat their wings on the water. The sounds of cuckoos were heard in the forest. The woodpeckers banged their beaks loudly and loudly against the tree trunk. The nightingales sang very beautifully.
Time passed. The leaf grew bigger and bigger. A beautiful flower bloomed next to him, which smelled very pleasant. Bees began to fly to the maple tree. Our leaf saw how they fed on nectar and how they collected it with their paws and carried it to their hive. Leaf admired them very much. He also saw ants running along the branches and drinking sap. And then they ran again. They touched each other with their antennae. And the leaf already knew that they greeted each other this way. I saw how worms crawl slowly and eat the bark of a tree, then when there is danger they curl up into a small ball. Ladybugs flew in, took a break from the long flight and then flew away again to do their own thing. Sparrows and other types of birds hopped merrily along the branches. They were telling each other something. Between the branches, the spiders made thin and large webs, which caught flies, butterflies and other insects. And the spiders ate them. Leaf, of course, felt very sorry for them, but he could not help them. He didn't know how to be sad for long. Rarely did the leaf wake up at night. He listened to the sounds of the night. I saw bats flying after moths, an owl looked back angrily and hooted loudly. Then she quickly flew up to the grass and caught the rodents and then ate them. The night birds called to each other. Insects, moles, families of rabbits crawled out of holes, lizards and snakes crawled. The leaf watched them and then fell asleep again.
