Flowers of hope

Iris had noticed for a long time that Barry showed interest in her not as a named sister, but as a girl. When she started dating Eddie, she felt guilty for a while because she knew about Allen's feelings. But in the end, West plunged headlong into a new relationship and simply forgot that Barry also loved her. Thawne surrounded her with care, picked her up from work when he had the opportunity, walked, took her to restaurants, and eventually asked for the girl's hand in marriage from her father, and then from herself, because it was very important for him to get Joe's blessing first. He gladly gave them his blessing, because he wanted his daughter to be happy and if she thinks she will be happy with Eddie, then so be it. A few days later, Iris came to the police station to bring Eddie lunch. "Thank you, honey," Thawne smiled sincerely, kissing his bride on the lips. West rubbed her nose gently against his cheek before Edward kissed her again.  "I'll try again..."
