Ice cream

Settings
On the corner of the street, immersed in the shadow of the past days, there was an old ice cream shop. Its windows glittered like eyes in the dim light of the street lamps. Summer had left this city, but inside the shop there was another summer alive, trapped in the icy walls. Life inside was like a slow waltz, in which every note is a drop of memories. Colored showcases reminded of bright moments, of days when the sun caressed children's faces, and hearts beat in time with fun. However, now that autumn has painted the streets in cold shades, the shop has become a place where shadows of memories gather. Behind the counter stood an old man in a white apron, like a frost falling off him like gray from the branches of trees. Longing burned in his eyes, and he handed the children one portion of the past. The ice cream melted on the tongue, leaving only a shadow of the taste of sweet moments. A lone visitor, like an autumn wind, made his way inside the shop. He looked into the shop windows, remembering mornings when this place smelled of laughter and joy. He was choosing his portion of nostalgia, long cooled, but still tasteless. On that day, sadness settled in the shop, like rain that penetrates through warm clothes. Ice cream, formerly a symbol of summer, has become the last chord in the symphony of passing times. It melted away like memories, leaving only a sweet bitter taste on the lips of those who dared to look into the past. And the ice cream shop continued its slow dance with time, witnessing the changes that take with them a piece of each summer day.
