A light breeze sometimes blew from the direction of the forest, and sometimes waves rolled in from the sea, slightly enveloping the surface of the sands. Two-Tails suddenly felt a little scared. — “Your life and skin are more valuable to you. Better fly away from here while you're still alive and well! An alien from another world is not worth it.” — the inner voice suddenly sounded in the fox’s head, but he sharply shook his head in response. — "No. I have to be braver and cope. I'm not a coward, am I? I can catch the alien. All you need to do is hit him with plasma from that gun and that’s it! He will immediately be in a cage, and then I can fly back with a clear conscience.” — he thought, continuing his search for the alien. From the water, despite the waves that did not even prevent the incomprehensible entity from emerging from the sea, taking the form of a water tentacle, the fox looked straight at it. The latter felt that someone was watching him, turned sharply, and the water tentacle immediately disintegrated, as if it had never existed. Suddenly something moved in the bushes. Tails turned towards the rustling sound and saw two bushes moving, as if someone was hiding in them. Red eyes appeared between the bushes, glowing in the darkness with a red glow, like those of a Chupacabra. Without hesitation, the fox immediately takes out a gun and shoots in the direction of the eyes. The luminous beam flew past the bushes, but only hit a large boulder, which immediately disappeared from sight. At the moment of the shot, the eyes themselves separated from each other and spread to the sides. Under the weight of fear, the fox slowly moved back, straight to the water. Two water tentacles emerged from the approaching waves, at the end of which green balls were visible, similar to huge eyeballs, with which the creature was examining the fox. The latter slowly turned his head back and noticed this creature from the water. Quickly turning around, Tails fires at it, but for some reason the beam did not capture the creature. It didn't even hurt. The eyes with water tentacles disintegrated into drops of water. Suddenly a small earthquake began. Fortunately, the fox was able to stay on his feet and did not fall. Fortunately, the earthquake was quite weak. A huge worm-like monster with two water-like tentacles and green eyes with iguana pupils immediately emerges from the sea. Tails shoots at it and tries to capture it, but the monster deftly dodged the shots and never came under fire. Tails was already scared. It's a pity that Sonic, Knuckles, or at least Tom and Maddie are not here. But what is he even thinking about? How will they protect him from such a huge monster? The monster leans towards the two-tailed creature and growls terribly at it. The fox has no choice but to retreat. Having run across the sand, he was preparing to jump and take off. However, at the moment of the jump, something grabbed his right leg and did not let go. It felt like something cold and iron. Tails turned around and saw some substance coming out from under the sand on the beach. A quarter of this substance took the form of a clawed hand and grabbed his very leg. A liquid metal robot breaks out from under the sand and takes the form of a two-meter robot with those same red eyes. The robot was somewhat reminiscent of Sonic the Hedgehog. Only the black eye sockets looked like one oval eye with two pupils, which was covered in the middle by the lower part of the forehead. — Where is your friend? — the robot asks the fox in a terribly distorted voice. — I... I swear. I do not understand what are you talking about. — Tails lied in order to protect his friend, and the robot himself understood this perfectly. He brought his terrible face closer to the fox’s muzzle and hissed: — You're ly-y-ying! — No, no, I'm not lying. Is it true. I don't know such a thing. I do not understand what are you talking about. Let me in please! Chaos looked at the robot with the fox and did not understand what was happening here? Who is this robot and why does the fox feel different from the one he once met? Without hesitation, the water monster, like Godzilla, gathers atomic energy into its mouth and shoots an atomic beam under itself, slowly directing the beam towards the beach. The robot, hearing a noise behind its back, turns around, and Tails shoots in the area of the hand with which the robot was holding him. But only the hand managed to separate from the arm itself and the cannon beam flew past again. The robot, as if without looking, sees everything in advance with its back. Nevertheless, the robot let go of him, but the liquid metal hand continued to hold the fox’s leg. He chose to run away, while the robot itself only jumped away from the beam. Chaos, having stopped firing atomic breath, growled menacingly at the robot. — I’m not afraid of you, stupid creature. — Metal answers and, activating the jet turrets on his back, flies into the sky. He scans the creature and is amazed by what he sees. — Your body is ninety-nine point nine hundred and ninety-nine thousandths of a percent water and one thousandth of a percent of tangible density. This means that it is still possible to kill you. The robot raises its head up, sticking its arms out to its sides, clenching its only hand into a fist, and begins to slowly change its shape. He grows in size and becomes a huge half-robot, half-monster with an iron jaw made of iron fangs. Metal Sonic became Metal Madness. On the beach at that moment, one homeless man with a beard and a hat was lying and sleeping on an old and holey sofa. He woke up from the noise of two giant monsters and paid attention to them. True, he was not afraid, but was surprised, as if he were watching an action movie in a cinema. The water serpent again gains atomic breath and splashes it out of its mouth in the form of a beam. The giant robot reflects the beam, protecting itself from it with the usual block of its right hand. Taking into account the fact that he had armored bodies on his arms. — Now it’s my turn, scum. — Metal says in a scary voice and shoots egg-shaped rockets from his back, which fly towards the water serpent and explode next to him. The monster itself floats back and growls in pain. — Wow! It's so great! — the homeless man exclaimed, smiling. While Perfect Chaos and Metal Madness fought among themselves, Tails, with Metal Sonic's only iron palm still holding his leg, hid behind the trees and caught his breath. He was already so scared that he didn’t want to get involved with them and thought about running away from here. It’s better to let these two giants sort things out among themselves. As soon as he thought about this, Chaos suddenly managed to hit Metal in the face with one of his left tentacles and push him back from the water to the beach. Taking three steps back, he steps with his huge foot next to that same homeless person, almost crushing him. This time, now he was scared too. Metal Sonic's iron hand immediately let go of Tails' leg and, taking on a liquid state, swam to the giant, reuniting with him. — Better not interfere! I'll deal with him first, and then with you. — the robot says to the fox, without looking at him, and dodges the muzzle of Chaos, who suddenly flew at him, trying to grab him by the shoulder with his watery mouth. Chaos himself did not have time to figure out how to dodge, as the robot immediately hit him on the head from above, with his left fist, and then with his right, pressing the monster to the sands of the beach. — You can’t defeat me, you mindless monster. I am the real Sonic, the perfect being in the universe. He grabs the monster's jaws with both Chaos hands and, opening them wider, tries to tear the monster into pieces. The monster itself tried to free itself. He hit him with water tentacles on the back and side, but he didn’t seem to care and didn’t let him go at all. Even water tornadoes swirling between the robot's legs did not help. Chaos was in so much pain that a real crunch of bones could be heard and the monster himself screamed heart-rendingly. The fox could not look at this horror. — “What’s wrong with me? What am I thinking? He's a monster, of course, but for some reason I feel sorry for him. Or maybe I thought correctly?" — the fox thought in his thoughts and decided to help Chaos. He takes one stone from the ground and throws it at the robot. The stone itself bounced off, but caused the robot to be distracted from killing the monster and turned its gaze to the fox. — STOP TORTUREING HIM, YOU IRON CRAP!!! — the fox shouted at the robot, pointing his finger at him. CinemaSins: Tails has some strange thinking about the appearance of aliens from alternate universes. Tails definitely didn't expect this. — He who laughs last laughs best. — the giant finishes and laughs ominously, almost like Santa Claus. — AND YOU CATCH ME FIRST!!! — the fox shouted back and flew down, hiding behind the trees. Without hesitation, Metal flew after him and began to tear trees with roots out of the ground, trying to find the fox. Chaos at this time, lying on the water, regained his strength and healed his wounds. Having gained strength, he rises again and growls threateningly at the robot. Metal stops searching for the fox and turns back. The robot took off into the sky and prepared to launch egg-shaped rockets from its back. The egg-shaped bombs fly straight towards Chaos and are about to crash, but Tails flies up between the bombs and Chaos and the heat bombs fly after him. The two-tailed one flew straight up to the robot. He tried to grab him with his right hand, but the fox managed to dodge and flew under him, and Metal's own bombs crashed right into him. At this time, Chaos again collected the energy of atomic breath into its mouth and fired a huge beam at the robot, breaking a hole through it. Despite the hole in its chest, the robot continued to function and flew from top to bottom at Chaos, trying to grab the monster and immediately throw it into the water. Having fallen on the monster in the water, Metal prepares to hit him, but Tails stands close to his eyes and blocks his view, preventing him from doing this. — Get out of my line of sight! — the giant hissed, charged his gaze and fired. At this time, Chaos himself managed to figure out how to turn his left tentacle into a water hand, clenched into a fist, and hit the robot on the head with all his might, throwing him into the air. The robot takes off and crashes onto the beach, creating a small earthquake. Before Metal can get up, Chaos is filled with atomic breath again and shoots at him. Metal Madness couldn't do anything at this point. Only the famous cliché shouts: — No-o-o-o-o... It seemed that the robot had lost its power and was lying around. In addition, he began to transform again, but this time he shrunk back to his previous size. Without wings and without a mouth with fangs. But he himself looked as if there was not a scratch on him. The little robot lies unconscious and doesn’t even move. Ideal Chaos triumphantly shouts into the sky against the backdrop of a thunderstorm that has appeared at this very moment. However, remembering that fox, he turns in the direction where he fell. Two water palms appear from under the water, which slowly lead the fox to the shore, carefully place it on dry sand and go back to the sea. He lay unconscious. Then Chaos, using a small tentacle, pressed the fox on the chest, causing him to spit out some of the water. And then the two-tailed one, having regained consciousness, soon spat out all the remaining water from himself and then began to catch his breath. Then he looked at the water monster. The huge water serpent closes its green eyes and disintegrates into a small bubble in the air. This very bubble flies up to the fox and stands in front of him in the form of a new humanoid body with pink brains inside its head. This made him look even scarier, but judging by his look and the fact that he helped him not drown, he was clearly not dangerous to him. That's for sure. Metal Sonic managed to reboot at this time and turned on his red eyes again, after which he stood up. Chaos and Tails turned their attention to him. Without hesitation, the fox managed to figure out in time to shoot him from a cannon. This time the beam hit the robot and it evaporated. All tired, he kneels, breathing heavily. The water creature stands in front of him and extends his watery helping hand. Not though, but the fox extends his hand to him. The truth is still with the cannon and either on purpose or by accident at that moment pulls the trigger of the cannon, and it fires. The beam immediately hits the waterman, and he, too, disappears. Once again left alone on the beach, the fox, having caught his breath, tries to distract himself from obsessive thoughts. He couldn't believe what he had just done. After all, he saved the life of one person from those two and, in addition, also saved one of these two giants, although he later had to take him prisoner as well. In any case, he had already finished his work here and, rejoicing at the completed work, decided to fly back.

      In the cave next to Omega's cell, Metal Sonic himself first appears in one of them, who did not understand how he got here so quickly. At the same time, he looked around the area and studied it. In the next cell, Chaos himself appears next to him in such a pose, as if he was extending his hand to someone and trying to help someone get to their feet. He was shocked how he ended up here and angrily tried to escape, but the field did not let him through. — Don't even try, slug! There is no way to penetrate this field! — Metal answers the merman, and he only gurgles in response, since he cannot speak. — Are you one of those Eggman robots? — Omega turns to him, as if he recognized him.
