However, there were a bunch of large computers and devices on the sides. In the middle, between the slab floors, a river flowed to a waterfall. Fortunately, there was also a bridge between the river so that you could move from one half of the station to the other. There were many cables and wires, some of which went to the walls and possibly went to the very same supports, after which they carried electricity to the nearest cities, including Green Hill. The second cables and wires were connected to computers and various devices, and the third went to the end of the waterfall, to two special devices that pumped electricity. The energy itself was replenished in them thanks to a special wheel, which spun without stopping due to the force of water shocks. The wheel itself was made of stainless steel and somewhat resembled a hamster wheel. At least Sonic now knows what this station looks like and how exactly they generate electricity. — He is not here? — Sonic whispers to himself. — Where did he go? Maybe he's hiding behind the trees? It suddenly seemed to him that somewhere behind the large computers for controlling the dam, someone was moving, making the sounds of iron moving. In the corner, between the walls, a ladder even fell to the floor, which rested against the wall and, logically, could not fall back. — Who is there? — the hedgehog asks someone who is hiding behind the consoles, but never comes out of hiding, trying to pretend that no one is there. It was as if he imagined it. However, the shadow gave him away a little. According to the silhouette of the shadow, he was large with a square head and shoulder pads. It's like a big guy in a box suit. At this moment, a huge red cube appeared from above behind Sonic, materializing from several small similar cubes. Then the large cube evaporates and in its place some creature appears, somewhat reminiscent of an anthropomorphic wolf, which all shone with a red glow that it was impossible to carefully examine its appearance. This creature begins to summon several red cubes next to itself and absorb energy in the form of red lightning. Sonic turns sharply back and sees this same glowing alien from another world. Without hesitation, he immediately fires his blaster at this very creature. However, the glowing alien, like a symbiote, divided its stomach into two halves, creating a hole in its stomach. A beam from a blaster flew through this very hole and, hitting the wall, evaporated. After this, the creature restored the appearance of its intact belly back. The glowing creature continues to shoot squares from its hands, and the second one, who stood as a shield for Sonic, did not care. — Sonic, it's me Omega! — the alien introduces himself in a metallic voice. The blue hedgehog, who has closed his eyes in fear, opens his eyes and sees in front of him a large, closet-shaped robot, red and black in color and with a yellow head with two red eyes. — I'm here to help you... Do you remember me? — I'm Sonic, but not your Sonic. — In what sense is it not ours? — Omega doesn’t understand and turns his head thirty degrees left and right to inspect. The glowing devil summons a huge red cube near the ceiling and turns on the strongest gravity for it. He began to throw his cubes at him, and for the same reason the big ones, defending their owner, sometimes attacked. However, they crashed into the walls, leaving cracks. — Hurry up, Sonic! On the right side there was a lever with a blue handle. There was an inscription “Disable” at the top and “Enable” at the bottom. The lever itself, oddly enough, stuck out towards the bottom. Realizing in time, Sonic grabs this handle and tries to push it up. But here's the problem. The lever is either rusty and barely moves, or it is heavy and difficult to lift. It was so hard that the hedgehog even strained. At the very last moment, when one of the large cubes still pinned Omega to the wall, Sonic managed to raise the lever to the top. A huge and stainless hamster wheel rises to the top above two iron sticks and, without feeling the shocks of the water, stops spinning. New energy with electricity stops flowing through the cables that the creature had previously absorbed and suddenly it stops shining. It was as if it felt itself weakening. All the red cubes next to him evaporate, as if they were not there, and the creature itself sinks to the floor and takes on its previous appearance. It was an anthropomorphic jackal. It was all black and had clawed fingers. There was something like a red bump on the chest that looked like the white edge from ties, like people in business suits. He wore pointy white shoes, had a tail sticking out from the back, reminiscent of Tails' two tails, and had a gray helmet on his head. The helmet had white ponytails of hair sticking out from the back of its head and had two eyes. One black in the form of lightning on the right, and the other in the form of a scar through which a large red eye with a yellow pupil was visible. There was no hole for the mouth of the helmet, but this did not prevent him from speaking. At this time, Omega went down, standing next to Sonic, who was warily approaching the jackal, looking at him. The latter looks at his right hand and is surprised by what he sees: — I?...
