«Teen Wolf». Isaac Lahey. Father (#28)

Settings
Notes:
After his transformation into a werewolf, Isaac felt that something was wrong with his father, but he could not figure out what exactly. That's why Isaac didn't have time to escape. His father almost immediately understood why the cut from a piece of crockery on his son's cheek was almost instantly healed. Mr. Lahey was a little shocked, but at the same time he was glad, because now Isaac can be beaten as much as he wants, no one will know anything, since all the wounds will heal. With a wide, almost maniacal grin, he firmly grabbed his son by the hand and dragged him along.

"WHAT. WHAT'S GOING ON?" — it was written in large letters on the sheet that Styles handed to McCall, sitting this time (since he was transplanted) behind him. When the guy turned to his friend, he pointed to the desk behind him. You looked expressively at both guys, waiting for an answer from the Alpha. Scott furrowed his brows, trying to figure out what you mean. Y/N rolled my eyes and mouthed: "Isaac." The guy just shrugged, not quite understanding what you mean by that. "Where is he?" followed by a question from the girl. And that was a good question, but the werewolf could not answer it. Isaac had not been to school for about two weeks, did not go to training, although he was on the team. The coach, of course, was furious, but no one could do anything: the headmaster said that the guy had a good reason, though he did not specify what.

***

"Where is Lahey?" the coach yelled, at the same time looking at the students and noting the absentees in the class log, "where is he?" "Coach, he got sick, like," Stiles hesitantly voiced. "Stilinski, I didn't ask you," the teacher glared at him, but still noted Isaac as ill, "so, let's run ten laps, let's go!" he whistled and all the guys took off and ran in a circle.

***

Y/N, along with Allison and Lydia, sat in the stands and watched the training. They were talking quietly and laughing. "No, well, imagine," Lydia began, "he just came up and told me, they say, I'm so-and-so, let's date." "And you?" Allie cocked her head to one side with interest and smiled slyly. You and Martin mirrored her smile. "What about me?" the redhead continued, "I said I was busy," she involuntarily smiled, glancing at the field and noticing Stilinski there. Yes, the red-haired beauty really fell in love with a guy who had been running after her since elementary school and was now absolutely happy. "I'm happy for you," you and Argent said at the same time. When you realized what had happened, you laughed. The huntress also looked at the field and Scott, who had already run his ten laps, waved to her with a smile. Ellie smiled and waved back at him. "By the way, where is Isaac?" the black-haired girl suddenly asked, and they, together with the first beauty of the school, looked at you sideways. "I have no idea," you sighed heavily. The girls looked at each other and looked at you again with a slight bewilderment in their eyes. "That is?" they asked at the same time and frowned. "You're still dating, right?" said Allison. You thought about the answer for about a minute. On the one hand, Isaac didn't say anything like that, didn't write or even call, so that you could think that you were breaking up or had already broken up. But on the other hand, over the past few weeks, he hasn't called you at all, hasn't written to you, and hasn't even shown up at school. You would have thought he was sick if you were an ordinary person and if he was naturally an ordinary person, but that wasn't the case. Both you and he were werewolves and healed quickly from any human disease (if not to say they didn't get sick at all), but only your closest friends and the pack knew about it: Derek, Scott, Allison, Stiles, Lydia, Isaac himself and you. Therefore, this option was out of the question. Problems in some other pack? Why would Lahey suddenly help another pack unless they know Scott? So you just shrugged. "I do not know…"

His father threw Isaac to the stone floor of the basement. "You will stay here until you tell me how you turned into a werewolf, who your Alpha is and where your pack is now." Isaac was silent. Then Lahey Sr. somehow smiled terribly and stuffed his resisting son into an old refrigerator. "Let me out! Let me out!" the teenager shouted, desperately pounding his clenched hands on the door of the device. During the years spent without his mother and brother, only with his father, who almost always locked him in the refrigerator when he didn't like something, he had some fears: claustrophobia, nyctophobia: a guy in the dark, and even more so in a chained (lock) refrigerator in the basement experienced loneliness and insecurity, somniphobia: the guy was just afraid to sleep, because it seemed to him that his father would come and punish him at any moment (which, in fact, happened, but not at night), so he could just lie for hours and stare at the ceiling, oikophobia (the guy was afraid to come home after school, because he knew that his father was waiting for him at home, perhaps again furious with something, or drunk, which was also scary, because being in such a state, he often beat him very badly), rabdophobia (Isaac was afraid that he would be punished once again and locked up in the basement).

"Where is Lahey, well... why does he not go to training for so long?" the coach asked the class, who was standing in front of him, waiting for the lesson to begin. "We don't know, coach," your whole class answered in chorus.

Two weeks later, Lahey Sr. came back to ask his son about the pack. Of course, he fed him so that he wouldn't starve to death, but it was either something burnt, or, occasionally, something normal and quite edible. "How did you turn into a werewolf, who is your Alpha and where is your pack now?" he asked again, but did not get an answer. Of course, Lahey Jr. did not say anything to his father this time either and stubbornly remained silent. Then the former coach of the swimming team closed the door to the basement, went to one of the boxes that stood near the wall and pulled out a gun. He took aim and fired a single shot at his son, who did not expect it. Isaac doubled over from the pain: it was a bullet with aconite. Suddenly, a terrible realization came over him that if he did not get help within a few hours, he would simply die. "Why?" he asked hoarsely and winced in pain," why are you doing this? Well, he would have handed me over to an orphanage, why mock me like that?" the guy really didn't understand how he deserved all this. The man shook his head with a slight smile and squatted down in front of his son. "Why?" with a grin, he returned the question to his son, "why am I doing this? Yes, because you're a little, ungrateful bastard who just doesn't understand," he suddenly hissed, grabbing his son by the hair and squeezing it hard in his fist, "just doesn't understand what it's like to live for someone like you," his father spat in his face. The young werewolf squeezed his eyes shut and tried not to even breathe once again so that it would finally end. But it was just beginning, and the guy couldn't even imagine how far it could go…

***

His whole body ached. Of course, all the wounds were healed (but not after the bullet, after it they did not want to be tightened at all), the bones were fused, and the bruises quickly went away, as if they did not exist at all, and after a few hours, after another beating, nothing, not a single bruise or wound was noticeable, undoubtedly. But after his father shot him, it all stopped. These few days (or weeks, Isaac could not count how long he had already been in the house) the constant companion of the young man was unbearable pain. Isaac almost stopped asking his father to let him out, not only because he realized that it was useless, but also because for such behavior and disobedience, Lahey Sr. punished the guy even more. He wouldn't let him out of the house at all, wouldn't let anyone call, and he was in the house almost all the time, not at work, for example. The man was constantly watching his son, as if he was waiting for the moment when he would make a mistake or just do something wrong. This was always followed by immediate punishment. The guy was tired of this, tired of being constantly afraid, and one day, when the former coach of the swimming team went to the store, which was three houses away, he tried to escape until his father came. Lahey Jr. found the keys and was on his way to the door when his father returned. Seeing such an open act of disobedience, he got angry and, locking the door, turning the key all the way, twice, and also closing the windows and curtaining those curtains that were open, the man brutally beat his son, beat him as if he was venting anger, but tried not to hit him on the head, and then several times shot him with bullets with aconite. As a result, Isaac ended up in the hospital. Melissa, whose shift Isaac was in the hospital, was only once again surprised by the abilities of werewolves, she did not understand how the guy could still be alive. The woman called her son, who was at home at that moment, and he, having informed the members of his pack, quickly rushed to the hospital. "Where is he?" McCall flew into the hospital. Allison, Stiles, Lydia, Derek and Y/N hurried after him. "What's wrong with him?" you echoed the guy, looking around anxiously, as if hoping to see your boyfriend sitting somewhere in the corridor. "How bad is it?" Stiles asked when the rest of the pack arrived. Melissa shook her head, heading towards the wards and you all followed her together. "Everything is very bad," she said, and everything inside you turned cold, "he may just not come to himself, be in a coma, or die." The woman looked around. Everyone was walking with frowning faces now, and you were terrified and covered your mouth with your palm. "Y/N, you can come in," Scott's mother stopped in front of the door of one of the wards. You didn't dare even touch the handle, let alone open the door and enter, but you pulled yourself together and, turning the door handle, opened the door and entered the ward. Mrs. McCall closed the door behind you because she knew you wouldn't want everyone else to see you and Isaac right now.

The device that was responsible for Isaac's life was beeping steadily, and you, closing your eyes for a second, exhaled and, dragging a chair from the corner of the room, put it near Lahey's bed and sat down on this chair. For a few seconds you stared intently into Lahey Jr.'s face, hoping that he would wake up now, and then gently took his hand. Y/N moved a little closer to the cot and squeezed the werewolf's hand between her hands. Then she brought it to her face and kissed it, silently praying to everyone she could that her beloved would wake up. But he remained pale and motionless.

***

Y/L/N went to the hospital to see Isaac every day, and several times spent the night right there. The parents hardly saw their daughter. Melissa tried to persuade her to leave the hospital for at least an hour, go home or to a cafe, but the girl just shook her head, refusing. Food and drink were brought to her by members of Scott's pack who went to school, but they did not forget about their friend and Isaac. The girl just sat next to Isaac and tried, if possible, to hold his hand, hoping that in this way he would feel that she was there. And one day Lahey came to his senses.

***

At that moment, Y/N was just hanging around the hospital because you couldn't sit still anymore. When she returned to the ward, she was met by a slightly worried look from blue eyes. At first, the girl thought that she had imagined it. Y/L/N jumped out of the guy's room and rushed in search of Melissa. "Melissa, Melissa!" gasping, said y/h/c, "there... there… Isaac came to his senses…" Scott's mom started up, quickly got up and followed the girl. Lahey Jr. was lying on a cot and when Y/N and Melissa entered his room, he only turned his head in their direction. "How do you feel?" Mrs. McCall asked, simultaneously examining the patient for any damage (wounds) on the skin. Isaac smiled wearily. "Everything is fine..." he said softly, while you went to the ward and sat back on the chair, and Melissa meanwhile finished the initial examination. Y/N took the guy by the hand and a slight smile touched her lips. "At first glance, everything is really good, but I would advise you to stay here a little longer, and then we'll see," the woman smiled at Lahey Jr. You and Isaac nodded synchronously and the black-haired woman left the ward. As soon as she left, curly closed his eyes and exhaled. "Everything is fine, he won't touch you anymore," the girl correctly understood the direction of the guy's thoughts. The werewolf bit his lip and looked Y/L/N in the eyes. Y/H/C it was clear that he did not believe her. "And if he comes back?" The fair—haired man asked with fear in his voice. "My dear, good," you smiled through tears, hugging him, "I will personally make sure that this does not happen." He hugged you back hard. "I love you, do you know that?" Lahey said suddenly. You pulled away from the guy and looked into his eyes. "Of course I know," you smiled, straightening the sheet for him, and then kissed him on the forehead. He grabbed your hands and you smiled and leaned towards him. When he kissed her, it was as if butterflies suddenly fluttered inside her. She smiled a little and felt incredibly happy. They love each other, and no one will take it away from them...
